San Esteban is a small city and look a little bit worn down. But the hotel recently renovated was a pleasant surprise. We spend two nights at the hotel and had dinner once. Service was very good and the staff did their outmost to help us. We had the menu of the day for dinner and the price quality ratio was fine. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. We stayed in one of the apartments so plenty of space, comfortable bed and a small table with chairs. Would definitely recommend the place.

We are sitting on the indoor terrace, table of 6. We are informed before we ask that after 12 p.m. the price of coffee rises 1 euro and the rest of the drinks from there to the top. Das Hotel liegt zentral. In zwei Minuten ist man im Zentrum. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Zimmer mit Sicht auf Fluss. Gute Schalldämmung. Zimmer sauber und gut eingerichtet. Gutes Bett. Eher klein aber ok. Wifi funktioniert sehr gut. Liegt direkt am Jakosbweg.

Hotel is very good, but I would not recommend the restaurant. Starter was excellent (3 langoustinas with carpaccio of viera). Then I had kind of steak, my husband had fabada asturiana. Both were not good, so we returned it after eating just a bit. We did not have to pay for this, which is OK, but like this it is not nice to go a restaurant.

The hotel, its rooms and the reception staff are wonderful and very friendly. The room is quite wide and very comfortable. But the cleaning service has been quite harmful. We stayed 3 nights and the second day we had to warn that our room had not been cleaned on the first day. The morning when we were going to open the door of the room at 8:50 pm without warning or excuse, giving a screw and scaring us as we were sleeping and had not to leave it until 12:00h. Unfortunate the attitude of the cleaning staff, who far from excuse****, have denied this, even having photos of the door indicators (both of making the room and of not disturbing), leaving to the direction asking forgiveness in their name.
