The location is close to ***y tourist attractions and historical sites. An advantage is that there are ***y things to enjoy, including restaurants, nearby. Please take into consideration that the hotel facilities are old.

Dirty, I found cockroaches. Be careful they'll try to scam you. The beds are uncomfortable, the building full of dirt and the staff not friendly.

A beautiful faded old lady with a bucket load of charm. Not my first time staying here, I stayed here I think about 12 years ago. Nothing much has changed. We stayed in a large room, seriously huge with the most gorgeous balcony looking over the street. The bed was very comfortable, linens and towels clean. The bathroom was just outside the room, it honestly wasn’t an issue and to get the best balcony it was a compromise. We arrived on a flight from Europe at 2 am and the staff could not have been more helpful. We had a kettle, tea coffee and milk as well as water ( paid ) instantly available. To be honest you can’t beat the location it’s just fabulous

Worst hotel ***aged by liars. Booked the hotel for 6 nights. Upon arrival was told that the hotel was full. They shifted us to another old creepy building with dirt everywhere. No internet connection and they asked for full payment before arrival. Government should inspect buildings before issuing permits to stop these cheaters from business.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was a nice stay. Well positioned to the south end of Mumbai within about 10 minutes walk of the Gateway to India. Breakfast is served in your room, you request it at reception and they bring you the toast, butter, preserve and a hot drink, quite basic but perfectly adequate - they gave us 3 slices of toast each so not stingy. Our rooms were both large with private shower rooms attached. Everywhere was clean and tidy. I would recommend this place, yes.

The rooms are tired and could do with some care and attention. We stayed in one of the balcony rooms on the road side it had 2 double beds and a large seating area a dining table balcony loungers. The cost is 3500 Rs or just below for a night. Try not to get the back rooms or the annex. There is a lift. It’s very close to the Taj hotel and india gate great for food in this area fab juice stands and great kebabs available on the street , and hundreds of restaurants. Walking distance to gallery’s and museums.

Bentleys is an odd hotel as it spreads over a couple of floors and has more rooms across the street. Some are small and dingy; some are large and quite grand. The staff are very helpful, and the rate - about $40 per night - is pretty good for the location. I stayed in room 17, tucked away and overlooking a small park. It even had a balcony, and I loved it. Expect a few issues with water pressure etc, but I had a really good time - this part of Colaba is gorgeous.

Our room had "a private bathroom" and although the English site clearly specified external, this was not the case in French. It's a pretty dirty closet so you lug around the hallway for showers and toiletries. The hotel has moved and lost the charm of yesteryear, it is rather dirty (but the room was OK), the breakfast served in your room... it is better not to see the kitchen where it is prepared, in short , maybe for real backpackers but otherwise... it's not what it used to be...
