Nice enough place - perfect for the money ! The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful !
Free use of kayaks out to Gulf water was fun too.
Would definitely stay again.

Coconut Cay Resort is one of the best lodging facilities that I have stayed at in the Keys. Our Room Attendant, Elizabeth, had our room well stocked and extremely clean, including the corners and behind the toilet. The office staff was welcoming and professional. The bagged breakfast was quaint and enjoyable. I would have given Coconut Cay Resort 10 stars if it was possible.

Disgusting place not s healthy place. The price is outrageous wouldn’t stay there ever again front desk was nice but not helpful and lied to us about other open rooms

Clean room, nice toiletries, and a great surprise when we checked in. A happy valentine message on bed. Staff suggested a pkace for a snack - very good. Highway was a little noisy.

Website photos are misleading, cropped. This is primarily an old FL motel. Rooms sit 100 feet from US1 with bed, dresser, table and chairs, sofa...no closet. Traffic noise on one side or rooster on other. Room relatively clean to start with, but each day new towels arrived but bathrooms, floors weren't cleaned. Complimentary breakfast consisted of coffee and "to go" plastic bag with juice, muffin, packaged fruit cup, yogurt, only offered 8-10AM. Kayaks old and not padded. HUGE DISAPPOIN**ENT.

Pros- Nice employees at desk. They recommended a good restaurant.
Cons- Loud cars all the time, dirty old looking couch, something spilled on bathroom wall, rusty bathroom shower rod, killed 5 spiders and removed webb from ceiling, couldn't set air conditioning to a certain temperature, prepacked breakfast so couldn't pick out what you liked or wanted and oa**eal but no bowl. No place to eat, had to sit on yucky couch and hold food since had no table.

Free use of kayaks and old bikes. Airplanes overhead weren't too bad. The persistent rooster crowing from 2:30 to 7:00 am was a bit annoying. Had to keep the AC fan on all night to minimize the crowing sounds.

We liked absolutely nothing about this stay. I believe it to be false advertising on your website. The property is in need of a complete overhaul and I will be reaching out to the local health depar**ent and reporting them. We had to vacate 2 days early as my husband became ill and we believe it is due to the black mold in the air conditioning unit in the room. The walls were filthy with who knows what. ******* is responsible for false advertising as I do not believe you would have this property listed on your website had you actually visited this property. It is grossly overpriced and I cannot express enough how filthy it is.
