The Stratford Hotel London

Stratford London|1.16km from Hackney Wick Station
I stayed at the Stratford the first week of October 2022. The location of this hotel is great, right next to the Stratford International Train station and the Stratford Tub station. I flew in from the US so I arrived to the hotel around 11:30 AM. They said my room was not ready and they “reminded me” the actual check in time would be 3:00 PM. I understood since my arrival was early, I headed to the lobby for drinks and lunch. I checked back with the front desk around 1:30 thinking maybe they called housekeeping to get to my room cleaned quicker but no, still not ready. As I sat in the lobby I would see other customers arrive and get checked in, I found it strange their rooms were ready but not mine. I patiently waited until 3:05 PM, went to the front desk to get my room key….. room still not ready. I have now been sitting in the lobby for almost 4 hours and my room was still not ready. I don’t think they ever called housekeeping to work on my room. It was finally ready at 3:30 PM. Not a good start to my stay, the front desk staff was not helpful, apologetic, or even caring at all. Later (after I requested to speak to a manager) I did get a call to apologize and offer me some free food, I declined stating they need to better manage the cleaning and check in process. Front desk staff on Sunday 10/2 not great at all. But the lobby, bar, and restaurant staff really turned around my initial poor arrival. I cannot say enough about how attentive the wait staff and bartenders were all week. Remember I had to sit in the lobby almost 4 hours on my first day. But each day after work I would come to the lobby/bar areas for drinks and dinner each night. Each morning I had breakfast in the restaurant and it was great. Again the service was amazing and the hostess delivered a great morning welcome. Room was nice well appointed. Coffee maker, safe, and small refrigerator. Large flat screen TC and nice desk to work at. I was in room 419 with a nice view. Bathroom was nice and the shower was very nice as well, walk in. I had an early flight out the 7th so I was worried about what sort of front desk staff would be helping me at 5:30 AM. Well they young man that was attending the front desk was efficient, professional, and very friendly. A nice end to my stay.

Convenient transportation, subway station and train station are nearby, and travel is convenient. Shopping is convenient, the supermarket store is near the hotel, shopping, dining is convenient, the rooms are cleaned, the breakfast is diverse, the front desk service is warm and thoughtful, because the language is not fluent, patient and meticulous, to meet customer needs.

Overall the hotel is perfect. The bedroom is new and large enough that it can house our 3 pieces of 28” luggage. Decoration is decent. The toilet is large and the basin is large in size. Amenities are good enough and the bed is soft and get good support so that we got a good sleep. The location is just opposite to the Westfield Stratford Shopping Center which is large enough to shop everything. Also the shopping center links to the Startford Station where we can take Tube (Jubilee / Central) or Elizabeth Line to any hotspots in London. We believe we will stay here next time.

Wonderful hotel with excellent location. The room was clean, very comfortable and had great view of the London Stadium. The location was amazing, next to a huge Stratford Shopping Centre and to the subway station with many subway lines. The staff was friendly, professional and very helpful. KUDO to the Concierge Staff, especially NALEEF, DANIEL, AND ONE OTHER GENTLEMAN (sorry! i forgot his name). My wife got pickpocketed in London. The Concierge staff, especially Naleef, went above and beyond their duty to help us to deal with our distress moments. He advised us to report the theft to the London Police, and also the Concierge staff helped us tremendously to deal with our stolen credit cards. We really appreciated what these amazing staff did for us. Thanks so much to Naleef, Daniel and to all the Concierge staff for making us feel so welcome and for all your unforgettable help during our stay. The world needs more of these people like your Concierge staff. Hyatt should be very proud to have these amazing Concierge staff. We certainly will return to this Hyatt hotel in the future and would highly recommend this Hyatt hotel to anyone!

Well I really love to stay here and been staying for long long time. Last time while my staying on Monday I asked for House keeping around @ 2:30 . Wasn’t done while I came back in an hour time. Again I asked to do that while it wasn’t done then I went outside and came back around at 9:40 isssh then what I seen that some hoise keeping was doing cleaning but so upset that my 2 guest was with me . So had to wait outside for another half an hour. That was so strange and I wasn’t not happy . Even the Second Last time happens the same thing and left review and nobody even bother to response that from hotel. And normally I keep 2 key card but why hoise keeping staff take away my room key while they clean. Anyway still love to stay there but needed to be ni rectified.

London, the capital city of the United Kingdom, is situated along the famous River Thames. Known for its iconic landmarks, diverse culture, and captivating history, London offers a myriad of experiences for every traveler. Here's a fun fact: London was the first city in the world to have an underground subway system, fondly known as 'the Tube'.
