4 Star Hotels in Lijiang

I got to know this hotel through some positive review from other guests and decided to try it out as I am not familiar with this place nor do I know anyone here. Glad that I did as it turns out to be an excellent experience. The hotel location is easy to reach as it is just a few minutes walk from the main road and it is right next to the old town (丽江古镇)。It is also right in front of a beautiful pond. The room is clean and tidy, everything works, breakfast porridge is tasty. But most importantly the hotel management are extremely friendly and helpful – this make my trip so much more easy and enjoyable. Ann (冰冰) is an excellent manager who offered me valuable advises and tips on where to go , what to do, what to avoid and she helps me with all my booking for the side trips – I had an easy time visiting the snow mountain (雪山), Lugu Lake (泸沽湖) and watch the magnificent Lijiang performance (丽江千古情) . All arranged and well managed with Ann’s help. This is so important when we heard so much negative comments about travelling to Lijiang from unscrupulous tour operator but here I am glad I met honest and reliable people. So if you are new to Lijiang and need guidance, I strongly recommend staying here and speaking to Ann. She is candid, transparent and helpful. The hotel is a beautiful place but the people makes the entire experience even more wonderful .

Excellent location. Rooms were spacious, clean and cozy. Everything we needed was provided. No minibar fridge, but that was not a problem for us. We loved the convenience of the hotel right next to the Ancient city and accessible via main road. Beds were super comfy. Breakfast was adequate and enough. Very pleased with the hotel. Recommended.

This is excellent chinese traditional hotel for people who want to see the top of view of Lijiang old town. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are high quality. The hotel is located a little bit on the mountain closed to large water wheel the landmark of Lijiang oldtown. The breakfast we had was special noodle yunnan food which was different than normal buffet we had in other hotel. Mostly of hotel staff can speak english well and warmly welcome especially from Mr.Jimmy. I’m very impressed that the hotel helped us took our luggage up to the hotel when we had a Jade Dragon Snow one day tour and sent us to railway station after checking out. I will be returning guest in the future for sure. Thanks for the experience and make me feel like I’m in the chinese movie who feel and touch the environment in the past.

Saw someone recommended this Inn on tiktok. Overall not the best experience staying at this Inn during my stay at Lijiang. The room is small, don’t provide cups(drinking cup) and the lighting in the room are very dim. Yes THE ROOM i mean entire room as in every corners of the room even in the toilet. For ladies who makeup might require some skills on it. Location of this Inn is at the back of an alley. Surrounded by empty lands or empty houses. Can be a challenge to walk around when night fall. Located a short driving distance away from the ancient town. Travel by didi please do note navigated by their hotel name will pin you along the main road. You will have to walk down the alley approximately 300m to the Inn. Hmm breakfast, they only have hard boiled eggs, potatos, porridge and plain noodles ? The positive side of this Inn will go to the service from the hotel bosses. Most of them are kind, helpful and friendly. They will assist and offer help in most of your request.

Really nice designed hotel. The entry, the yard, the room are all decorated nicely. Tranditional style room but facilities are well-prepared & modern. Guest are totally secured to enjoy. (There is also washing machine & garment dryer in public area). Must try for whom prefer Chinese trandiational house/room. Staffs are extremely nice, funny, kind & helpful (especially Xiao Yuan, the guy with blond hair). They advise the good restaurants, good souvenir shop, introduce the tour. Even take us to the restaurant/shop/service shop they introduce, care abt our experience there. We were served welcome drinks (nice tea & flower cakes) so many times & many fresh fruits during 3 days there. Breakfast is simple but really good-taste. High-recomend for the noodle named mixian. Another plus point is the hand-some & friendly 🐶. Our xiao shuai ge😆 Location is also good. Only abt 100m fr the South gate of old town, convenience for taxi approaching. Abt 10’ walking to the center part of old town so you can both enjoy the quiet & peaceful atmosphere of old town as well as the exciting activies in the center. By the way the old town street is tidy, both local citizens & visitors keep it clean. The only thing wish them to improve is shampoo (a bit dry for hair) & water heater (a bit hard to adjust the temperature). Anyway these are just really small things, wont effect to your enjoying.

I stayed at Lijang YueJiaren•White Horse Luxury Homestay for two nights. Pre request for the best view of the lijang and yulong snow mountain. Upon arrival, there is a bit difficult for communication because I don't have a China mobile phone. We couldn't find the hotel, we asked for help from one of the hotel, and they came to pick us up and carried our luggage for us. After we arrived, we got the best view of lijang and yulong snow mountain, we have been served with tea; additional arranged dai Shan as our tour guide. He showed us the ancient city, helping us for photography and planning our trip. The other staff also helped my friend with her luggage arrangement for the return flight. They are serving us nicely. I would definitely recommend it to anyone if you ever go to Lijang. P.S. The rooftop is one of the best spots for photoshoot.

This is a very cosy hotel , beautiful flower and plants everywhere. Clean room and very helpful staff , basically they help everything from booking transport , tour and the heartwarming hospitality make you feel like a very homely place . The staff just like your brother and sister , they always welcome you with the heartwarming smile and greats you with their homemade tea, I specially want to highlight the staff 小董 that assist us ，very informative and funny guys.

The hotel's service is impeccable. The previously included items are really meant to be given to every guest staying here. We try our best to coordinate so that our trip is not in vain. The SPA was also arranged for me. The technicians are very professional. The fatigue is swept away and I feel at home. They will contact us many days in advance. The experience is really great. They take care of every guest in detail. It is also very convenient to travel. There is a special car to the ancient city. There are singers singing in the cafe. Looking at the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance, the sense of happiness is overflowing. Moreover, they are responsive to every request and try their best to meet our needs. This stay left me with a very deep and beautiful impression. Hygiene: The condition is exemplary, and every detail in the room shows the hotel's strict requirements for cleanliness. From the spotless desktop to the shiny floor, from the wrinkle-free and fresh bedding to the clean and shiny bathroom facilities, there is no dead corner of hygiene Facilities: The network is stable and you can work efficiently anytime and anywhere. In addition, the comfortable big bed with soft pillows creates an ultimate comfort experience for guests Environment: It is like a paradise on earth, with fresh and pleasant air. The internal courtyard design is ingenious, with carefully trimmed flowers and plants. Walking in it, it seems that all the pressure can be dissipated instantly. Service: It is the biggest highlight of this hotel. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, the enthusiastic staff greeted me like a family. The front desk receptionist is professional and efficient. While quickly checking in, he also patiently introduced the hotel's various special services and surrounding tourist attractions to me. During my stay, no matter when and where I encountered any problems, I only needed to make a phone call and the service staff would rush to the scene within just a few minutes to solve my problems with a sincere smile and professional qualities. I felt the meticulous care and respect and truly felt at home.

Wow , this was just amazing ! Excellent clean rooms and enjoy the different aspects of jt , living room with Tv and fridge etc , massive bathroom with a tub and the bedroom massive king bed and another tv . Remember to keep the curtains closed when inside . Wonderful staff , both the lady and the guy in glasses were super helpful. They made us tea many times and the guy helped us order some sushi to be delivered . I would love to come stay here again
