The guesthouse's location is absolutely superb, nestled right on Lion Mountain within the ancient city, yet it doesn't feel isolated at all. A short walk brings you to the bustling Sifang Street, or you can climb Wangu Tower for panoramic views of the old town. For families with children, this location is just right – it avoids the noise of the main bar street while still offering easy access to every corner of the ancient city. The guesthouse itself is built into the hillside, and the room we stayed in had a spacious viewing balcony. Each morning, drawing back the curtains revealed the majestic Yulong Snow Mountain, a truly breathtaking, ever-changing vista that instantly uplifted our spirits.

This guesthouse was absolutely wonderful! If the weather's good, you can even see the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' (referring to a mountain illuminated by the sunrise/sunset), which is incredibly beautiful. The owner is also super enthusiastic and the service is excellent. At night, you can enjoy the stunning night view of the ancient city 🌃. Truly amazing!

The hotel's location is excellent. After parking at the entrance of the ancient city, the hotel staff came out to help with our luggage, and it was less than a minute's walk to get there. Being right inside the ancient city made exploring super convenient. The views are also beautiful! The terrace outside the room offers a direct view of the snow-capped mountains! The owner even treated us to some flower cakes, which were delicious, so I bought a few boxes to take home as souvenirs! I'll definitely be back next time!

Waking up to the first rays of light in the morning, the first thing that caught my eye was the silvery peak of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain peeking through the misty clouds. Our guesthouse, a small courtyard, truly captured the old Naxi style – with overlapping grey tiles, wooden windows reflecting the distant mountains, and the faint, dream-like chime of wind chimes from the eaves. In the afternoon, I'd bring a rattan chair into the courtyard, peel oranges in the sun, and watch the clouds drift slowly from the mountaintops to the rooftops. Even time seemed to slow down into poetry. At night, I fell asleep to the mountain breeze, dreaming of pine waves and stars. Pushing open the window in the morning, the crisp air of the snow-capped mountains, wrapped in mist, drifted in, making even my breath feel clean. There's no hustle and bustle here, only mountains, clouds, an old courtyard, and days that flow slowly, making you want to live life steadily and poetically. A great trip! Highly recommend.

The views are top-notch here; you can see both the snow-capped mountains and the ancient city. No need to wake up early to catch the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' phenomenon, you can see it right from the hotel. The hotel is located on Lion Mountain, the highest point in the ancient city. You can take a taxi directly to Jiefeng Tower on Lion Mountain, which leaves only a short walk to the hotel, so no need to worry about climbing too many stairs. Plus, the staff are super helpful with luggage, picking it up and dropping it off, making it really convenient. The room was very clean, the bedding comfortable, and all amenities were well-stocked. I originally booked this hotel for my Spring Festival holiday in 2020, but unfortunately had to cancel due to well-known reasons. After a six-year wait, I finally got to stay here on my trip to Lijiang, and I'm very satisfied! 👍

The room was fantastic, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. The surrounding area was excellent. Overall, a very satisfying stay.
