The hotel is perfect for the guests. The room is perfectly hygienic , a sports room that has nothing to envy the palaces ( and I know what I am talking about having tested the Normandy palace that was in a stupid state ) perfect hygiene vélo tapis ramer and elliptical everything is there. Nice staff, clean room (even a bit too strong on the smell of the cleansing stuff! ;-), and especially NO noise on the parking area side. (Only some people in the room above or not far started hollering around at half past one in the morning, but someone apparently banged on their door and ordered them to stop). Only the shower had a problem: it was very hard to turn on/off the taps and it took me at least five minutes to balance cold and hot. before I could actually have a shower. In the morning, my next-door neighbour asked for help because he couldn't turn off the burning hot water! Also, in my own room, the ring supporting the shower head was broken (fortunately I am not tall!). So, apart from the shower problem, it was quiet, clean and nice!

We stayed one night at this fun hostel located in a convenient area of Tours. It’s an easy walk to the center of town. However we were glad that the hostel has a bar which also offered a a few snack ps. When we arrived (very hungry from a long day of travel), we were able to relax with a drink and a cheese/meat platter. They also provide luggage storage if you arrive before check in time. There is also a restaurant, which we didn’t try because it opened later. We reserved a private room with bath that was small, but comfortable and quiet. We had a great night’s sleep and would recommend the hostel for a short stay. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Best night’s sleep in a hotel ever! Comfortable beds and pillows, proper curtains and almost silent air con. Brilliant shower with Rituals products, separate toilet (always a winner!). Connecting rooms worked well for our family and the dog was made really welcome with bowls ready for her food and water. Can’t wait to come back again.

I am lucky that my company is moving away from the Tours Nord area. It means that I do not have to stay in this Mercure anymore. Let me be clear: the staff members are very nice and that is the reason I still give 3 points. However, this is the only Mercure where I would never get an upgrad as a platinum or now gold member. They are always full. Sometimes I find it hard to believe given the size - and the fact that in CDG I have the upgrade every time. The standard rooms are of good standard mercure quality but in regards to amenities it is really below any kind of standard: you have a shower gel from a large bottle (that was unfortunately empty) and the same for the soap. There is nothing else. You get coffee powder and a couple of tea bags as well as a half liter of water. Maybe I am spoiled after our holidays in Asia but I am seriously considering to quit the Accor Live Limitless program and try my luck somewhere else. For two nights for business it is ok and again, lovely staff. Just not a place that makes you feel welcome. I am looking forward to seeing the folks at the Mercure Tours Sud again (should I remain with ALL...).

Well located hotel (on the square in front of the Saint Pierre des Corps station) without the nuisance of trains. The rooms are correct and clean. On the other hand, there is not much around for meals (there is a restaurant in the hotel which was closed during our stay). There is also secure parking. Several rental car agencies are nearby which is very convenient.
