Our stay at the hotel was great! Being a Marriott Bonvoy member allowed us a nice upgrade for our room. Onsite staff spoke English very well. The room was very orderly and spacious. Also, this Marriott was one of the few hotels I have been to that had the room allergy ready when I told them I was allergic to feathers on the reservation. The free beverages (beer, wine, cocktails, juice, and soda) and hot meals during the membership lounge time were nice. The public bath was very clean and relaxing. The management team went above and beyond! We asked the doorman to arrange a taxi to get to a local restaurant. Instead, he worked with the assistant manager, who told us he would personally drive us to the restaurant (even included a return trip!) The breakfast buffet was excellent and had both American and Japanese fare. I will recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family who visit the area.

The property is very charming and the photos shown are true to actual. Location is a bit far from the station so best to arrange the shuttle bus service or take a cab. Room is neat and cosy and the private onsen is a nice bonus. Breakfast is lovely and the fresh vegetables were amazing however the dinner was a let down as it wasn’t served in the restaurant. Instead we were provided with a voucher for redemption at the bar. The food is just average, beef was not very fresh, and your clothes and hair reek of smell after dinner as they cook the food right at the bar.

The villa is in a very quiet villa group, and the air is very good. From Karuizawa Station, you can take the bus to Yukawa, and it takes less than 10 minutes to get off the bus. Or take the Nakakaruizawa one stop to Nakakaruizawa, and then walk for 17 minutes. This path is not recommended at night because it passes through an unlit alley and a cemetery. The hotel is almost entirely self-service, and you fold the mattresses and quilts yourself. Each room has a bathroom. When taking a bath, it is a public bathhouse. It is not possible for two people to wash together in the bathhouse. It is a bit crowded for three people. The hotel's nearest convenience store is a 10-minute walk away. The 711 here is open from 6 am to 11 pm. The Stone Church is 7 minutes away from the convenience store. The price/performance ratio is pretty good. I stayed in a room with an open-air bath ２. My husband and ２ It's too big for people. The dinner at the hotel was expensive, so I was going to eat out, but there was a microwave, a large refrigerator, and a nearby supermarket, so I had both meals in a comfortable room. One thing to say is that the bedding was not a bed, so it was a little hard with tatami mats. The room with an open-air bath for my son and his wife was a bed. Because it is a business hotel price of Chisan group, I was able to stay at a fairly good price in the Goto campaign. It was good to get a regional ticket for 2000 yen and buy beer and snacks at the adjacent convenience store and stay cheaper than staying without meals. I wanted to see the autumn leaves of Kumoba Pond, so I used it to go early in the morning, but it was the correct answer for a plan with breakfast. It was delicious! I will use it again

Choose Karuizawa at the first harvest. It was a high-class inn, but the response of the employee was good. I stayed at this hotel with my family when I traveled to Karuizawa. The location was good to sightsee Karuizawa, and convenience stores and supermarkets were close, so I was saved. I regretted that I left I have a memory. .. At least, why not install an extension phone or an intercom instead of letting the staff call at the receptionist use the customer's mobile phone? If a customer accidentally forgets his cell phone at home, it also leads to the fact that he cannot accept the reception.
