I am absolutely in love with the stylish interior and the cleanliness is impeccable I will totally be booking at the east Kilgore location in Kalamazoo Michigan again hopefully sooner than later ... I feel like a queen here ... Thank you comfort inn 1550 east Kilgore Kalamazoo Michigan if you don't believe me take a look for your self I have stayed at pretty much every hotel chain there is and this one here is right up there with the best of them... The rooms were good and the service. A little overpriced for the value. The cleaning of the room was okay. I usually stay in Travelodge but we dicided to give Kalamazoo hotels a shot. I feel like it was over priced but at the last minute took it instead of traveling for another 30 or more to the nearest Travelodge. If the price goes down I would stay here again.

Overall decent value. Some minor improvements could be made. Price was reasonable compared to competitors. Recent updating was done in lobby area and our room. Room looked nice with much updating - granite... The shower was still the old style fake marble panels that looked outdated from the 1980's or so. Everything else looked so nice but that kind of cheapened the room. Breakfast was overall pretty good - hot items etc. I saw they had hot water but no tea, or hot cocoa. We had to ask for it. Even after asking for it, it was given to me but none put out for others - seems like they are being kind of cheap. Seems like they have old water pipes or something. Initially a lot of rust came out of the bathtub but then cleared up. There were also particles in the breakfast hot water. Overall, it was a decent value.
