The Hotel AZ Kagoshima Kiire is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Hotel AZ Kagoshima Kiire is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Kagoshima. The hotel is conveniently located just 1km from JR Nakamyo Station and 64km from Kagoshima Airport. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Kiire Ikiiki Freai Park, Zengyoji and グリーンファーム. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.
The appearance, the room, etc. feel old, but it is a walking distance to the astronomical museum, and it is less than 2 km if it is Kagoshima Chuo station, but it feels like it is a distance that cannot be walked in 1 km if it is Kagoshima station. The room is compact and has an outlet near the bed pillow and the charging is perfect. Isn't the cospa good enough considering the location and price?

The location is super convenient, close to the Astronomical Museum, walk to Sakurajima Pier, Aquarium and Dolphin Pier for more than ten minutes, the price is very high, there are natural hot springs, opposite the hotel is Central Park, near the National Shrine and Museum, except that there is no shower fluid in the room (only aromatherapy is provided), others

For tourists, you will like the hotel. It’s centrally-located and reasonably priced. But for me, this is my 2nd Richmond Hotel this week, and like Yokohama four days ago, the check in experience at the Kagoshima Richmond Kinseicho was just as bad. I arrived at the hotel at 1 and asked in Japanese for them to hold my bag until checkin. No problem and I left. I came back about 3:30 to check in. I claimed my bag and gave my name in Japanese. She found my reservation then immediately asked for my passport. I simply said “No”. She looked at me like I didn’t hear her then went to the back room to get another woman who I guess can speak English. Before the second one could say anything I explained in Japanese that I am not a tourist and if she would just check my reservation on the computer in front of her she would have known that. It is insulting to ask permanent residents (I am one.) for identification when checking in, especially our passport, which we do not carry around inside Japan (any more than a Japanese person would traveling Japan). The law specifies we are to be checked in as residents just as Japanese people are. And this, again, is the 2nd time this week I have explained the Japanese hotel law to Richmond hotel staff who should know better. And when this happens, no matter how good your hotel is the stay will not be pleasant because I won’t forget the insult. I’m speaking to you in Japanese and you still assume I am a tourist? How many fluent middle-aged white guys do you see in a year who are tourists? Come on Richmond, use some common sense and stop lumping residents and tourists in the same pile. It’s disrespectful to those of us for whom Japan is home. We are not the same as tourists. I like Richmond Hotels, but I have plenty of hotel choices available to me, and have stayed at Richmond at least four times this past year. Until you stop othering foreign residents as the same as visiting tourists I won’t be staying at this Richmond or any other going forward.

The staff was nice, but it was my first time using such a place, so I guess it was more than I expected. I guess it can't be helped since I booked a cheap one, but I was worried about the person above me because I was at the bottom of the bunk bed. There are rooms along the elevator or hallway, and you have to use a password to enter the room. When you enter the room, it is further divided into bunk beds and more beds lined up inside the room. It feels like there are several of these in one lot. The shower is free, but towels are 100 yen. I felt a little creepy, and the sound of other people washing their faces, the sound of the hair dryer, and the alarm going off all the time made it difficult to sleep well. I probably don't want to use it again, but if you can accept it, it might be cheap and good. However, it was a tiring environment to stay in at my age.

I felt it was an old inn . There was a sound that I was worried about due to the twist of the faucet, and the indoor shoes were not new. But the response was very kind. Breakfast was delicious and the parking fee was cheap.
I thought it would be better if there was a bottle of water in the room.

Hotel ribmaxBUDGETKagoshima is a business hotel located in Ogawa CHO, Kagoshima City, Kagoshima Prefecture. On April 5, 2022, I walked through Shiroyama Park. From there, I drove to Hotel ribmaxBUDGET Kagoshima. There was a three-dimensional parking lot at the back of the super center Nissimta, which was a designated parking lot. Nishimta is a very large discount store. I could buy dinner here, but I bought it in Lawson (sweat;) across the road and headed for ribmax. The lobby is like this. My grandmother checked in earlier, so I went to the elevator as it was. Coin laundry is installed. I expected it because there was a sign of a natural hot spring, but it was not a resort condominium advertisement (sweat);) when I asked if there was a microwave oven at the front desk, I replied, ”I'm in the room” (surprised) If it is true, I will praise you for choosing this hotel. This day is the room on the top floor. It seems to be an old type of room that doesn't light the electricity unless you insert the promised ”grandmother who doesn't open the key” key. ”Grandma who can't stab the key”There was a microwave oven. The TV is also large. Twin room. This is 5,335 yen for two people with surprise !! It seems that the timing was good with dynamic pricing. Hot water heater. Grandpa who mistakenly has a hot spring. The key is not stabbed clean and the electricity is not lit. The toilet is a hot water toilet seat. The bathtub feels like this. Shampoo and so on were bottles. The view from the window is also great only on the 13th floor. In fact, I was scheduled to stay in Shiroyama Park on this day. However, the parking lot of Shiroyama Park was lonely and the toilet was near the slope, so I didn't want to stay in the car. So I searched on my smartphone and found here. It was a dynamic price and was a cheap price. Because it was 17 o'clock on the day, there would be Merritt more than the hotel would be vacant. It became a strength that it was a premise that it was possible to stay in the car. Just a smoking room, so it is a disadvantage that it smells less 々 cigarettes. Because it is a business hotel, wifi is naturally barbaric. Thank you grandfather today. When I put gasoline in Aira City, the failure that was so high that it was surprised was cancelled. Because it is a night stay, the meal is Yakisoba bought in Lawson. Check out and take the ferry by car after finishing breakfast at Lawson. After finishing sightseeing in Yakushima and returning to Kagoshima City by ferry. The stay on this day was also made to Hotel ribmax BUDGET Kagoshima. What a room was the same room. Grandpa who thinks it is a room with a view of the opposite sea. I'm sorry I can't see the sea. This time it was a little expensive with a dynamic price relationship or 6000 yen. This day I went out to eat dinner at a Chinese restaurant opposite. The next day, breakfast was bread bought in Nissimta. I drove ahead by car. AAnonymous UserThe hotel itself felt to be a little too rich and classy than what I’m normally used to (not a bad thing). I didn’t give the full 5 for location mainly since the hotel sits on top of a hill within the city, walking is kinda out of question unless your up for winding incline up and down the hill. There are included transportations though which is nice and the trade off being the gorgeous views of the city and volcano (sakurajima) that sits across the water. There are also included restaurants, stores, bath, lounges, and even a convenience store built into the hotel too which was nice.
GGuest UserUsed on April 10, 2023. The place is in front of the tram stop (tram) Astronomical Museum, which is also a downtown area of Kagoshima, and it can be said that it is a landmark because it is before the bus stops. Certainly there was a shopping mall on the 1st floor, and it felt like a recent hotel, and the inside of the building was beautiful with the impression that it was renovated or newly built. The structure is the front desk on the 7th floor and the guest rooms on the 8th to 14th floors. The 15th floor is a restaurant and breakfast is here, and on a sunny day, you can see Sakurajima, and I think there is no complaint about the local dishes like Kagoshima. However, the deduction point was the following points ● There is no parking lot at the hotel. Since the parking lot is a little far away, I think that if you have luggage, you really need a parking lot. It can't be helped in the structure anymore, but I got the impression that it would be a little painful to carry heavy luggage when I came by car. ● If the affiliated parking lot is a little far away, it's fine when checking out (if it's not rainy), there's no problem, but I got the impression that it would be a little hard if it was raining. ● The content of the restaurant in the morning is fine, but I think there are many guests who come for the specialty ”chicken rice”. However, the impression that the frequency of the ingredient replenishment is slow because there is only soup stock and rice left insufficient replenishment. I understand the feeling of cherishing ingredients, but I have a little doubt ● Acoustic problem in the corridor It happened that it was around 23:00 pm. When I went to smoke on the front floor, I was walking down the corridor from another room, but I heard the sound inside, but I closed my mouth a little. I don't know if there is a location pattern, but it's the sound of so-called adult play, but I felt that I wanted you to do a little more soundproofing. I wrote color 々, but the basic room and restaurant are beautiful and I think it is a hotel of a good level in Kagoshima. Sure, Shiroyama and Sun Royal are famous in Kagoshima, but considering the convenience and price, I hope it will be a good hotel in the future.
CCasper WongConvenient location, especially if you arrive in Kagoshima by JR or the Shinkansen - obviously, as this is a JR Kyushu Hotel. The facilities were well furnished, and the breakfast from the restaurant was also nice. Comfortable stay overall - I'll certainly stay here again if I come to Kagoshima next time!
GGuest UserHotel can be accessed directly from the JR underpass, towards basement of hotel building. Tram station conveniently located in front of hotel. Hotel faces JR Station. Room is cozy with plenty of wall sockets. Good value for money. Room had lovely view of Mt Sakurajima.
SShawnThe location is superb, room was clean, spacious and with a nice balcony. The room provided all you need on a leisure trip.
The only downside was it was super complicated and time consuming to contact the hostel for entrance pin, check-in procedure and check-in number. We asked the front desk receptionist of our previous hotel to call the hostel number stated on trip.com booking confirmation email in morning, but no one picked up; called again at 3pm, and the hostel hotline said the number was wrong and referred us to call another number. If we did not have the assistance from a Japanese local receptionist from another hotel, I dont think we could get the entrance pin and check-in procedure information smoothly.
I recommend this hostel to Japanese local, or tourists with a Japanese mobile number to make calls/able to find assistance from Japanese local people.
This hotel is only a minute walk from Kagoshima Chuo Station. It is almost the same as other business hotels, and the rooms and bathrooms are basically clean, but the bathrooms are especially small, and some of the facilities are outdated. You can be served breakfast in the lobby on the first floor, depending on your accommodation plan. There seems to be enough tables and chairs, but due to the large number of rooms, especially on holidays when the rooms are almost full, it may be too crowded to eat breakfast. However, there are cafes and convenience stores around the hotel that open early in the morning, so you won't have any trouble finding food. The hotel can be used as a good base for sightseeing in Kagoshima.
ひひみでIt's cheap and within walking distance from the station.
There are also convenience stores, bento shops, and general stores nearby.
I came with my 7 month old daughter.
There is also a diaper bag, microwave oven, stove,
There were also frying pans, cutlery, and plates.
I was able to enjoy baby food and milk just like at home without any stress.
It was wonderful.
I would definitely use it again. I really recommend it.

Ssyodo278We stayed for 1 night (¥1,900) in a male dormitory. It is a guest house full of 4 story condominiums. The male dormitory is on the 4 floor and it is a bit troublesome to climb and down to the 1 floor. The cleanliness of the bed and water field was a level that I didn't particularly care about. The air conditioning in the dormitory was just good, and I didn't care about the sound of the 2-stage bed, and I was able to sleep well. There is a seven eleven diagonally across the road. You can use a credit card for the adjustment. As a note, there is a photograph that Sakurajima can hope from the rooftop on the reservation site, but it seems that a large warehouse has been built recently, and the view of Sakurajima side has been blocked. I think it's a good guest house except that.
