It was terrible, the service at check in, the woman at the reception was rude, rude, there was no light to walk at night from the rooms to the reception or to go to the beach, you had to turn on your cell phone flashlight to avoid falling on the bridges that pass overhead of a stinky mangrove because there is no protection on the sides, there is no way to enter the dirty beach, the swimming pool only opened after 10:00 and closed at 8:00 pm, and there was no light, it was also dark. Nothing in favor of the guest, all benefits only for the hotel. I will never go back and I don't recommend it either. If you're looking for comfort, eating well, don't fall for this because it's just regret and wasted money. Everything is very expensive, 0 in comfort, 0 in guest service, 0 in cleanliness.

This is probably one of the best hotels in Itacare. My suite was spacious and comfortable - the bed and pillows especially.
Breakfast options are limited but still good for vegetarians (and abundant for meat/fish eaters).
The beach access is very convenient, albeit the allocated beach space isn't that big. In high season it could feel cramped.
Overall great, EXCEPT that I didnt have hot water in my room for the first two days of my stay despite reporting this to the reception desk a number of times. Perhaps something fell down in translation but I thought they promised to send someone to fix it each time I spoke to them only for no action/repair to be taken. Eventually the repair man came back to my room directly with me on my last reception visit. The issue was fixed in less than 10 minutes which made it all the more frustrating that it hadnt been fixed sooner

Our stay was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! We actually booked two stays over the course of several weeks during our stay in Brazil. Everything from the food, customer service, and friendly people of Itacare was wonderful!!!! We will definitely return.

The service was excellent. The hotel area is very beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in the suite with 3 people. New and well decorated room. For 2 people it would be very spacious but with the sofa bed open for the 3rd person it becomes cramped. Good breakfast. When checking out, they present the bill and a suggested tip of 10% of the stay for the entire team.

Reasonable, there is no room service, poor menu, to get an espresso you have to go to the restaurant, they don't take it to your room, there is a lack of training for employees.

Staying at Aldeia do Mar was a wonderful experience, the hotel facilities are great, it has direct access to the beach, the restaurant is sensational, impeccable service. The hotel provides a bracelet for entry to the room and consumption in the bar and restaurant, which gives you greater ease and flexibility and reduces the risk of losing your room keys. Everything really is wonderful! I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.
