Le Premier House

The room smelt, the lights didn't work, holes in the bath room doors, mould around the bath and silicon put on top, bath edgeing falling off, dirt up the walls in kitchen area, pipes coming from kitchen units to washing machine, electric hob rusty and not usable, sofas dirty, curtains hanging from the windows, area made me feel unsafe with my children. No communication from hotel. Advised I was going to be checking in around 7pm at night as had to go straight to hospital for my son's consultation for his eyes to be operated one.. no reply when I got there. He said he had given my room away as I was late, I said your information says I can check in between 14.00 and 23.00, he said no I was late I showed him the paper and he said that this is wrong, I advised he should.have replied to my contact, he also went to take full payment for the room, but payment didn't go through. I advised there was a system error at the bank. I'd brought other cards and little cash. Payment should have been taken at the end of the stay, He told me to go to the bank and get cash as he didn't trust my cards. He said he had upgraded me as he's given my room away and wanted to charge another 10€per night for the room. I said the room is nothing like the photos and not suitable for my son to stay in. I was with my two children and at night in an area I didn't know I paid in cash and in full. I asked for a reciept he said he would give it to me the next day. When going back to the room I felt unsafe and vulnerable my husband who was at work told me to leave and my aunt also, they booked a new hotel this was now 9.00pm at night. We went down stairs to check out and ask for a refund and I was told I can't have a refund as the cash has gone and I saw the room that's my fault. I said I had no where else to go, what was I ment to do as I was told I had too or couldn't stay. I was a mum on her own with her two children and one was going in for an operation the following day. Another person there asked what was the problem and my son explained and when my son showed him, he said there's nothing wrong it's not there fault people damage the rooms and the place is being refurbished in the next few years, we explaine dwe don't live like this at home so why should we stay in something like this when we're here for an operation. Wasn't happy at all and very scared and worried.
