Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Causeway Bay

Wan Chai and Causeway Bay
Room: Big and spacious. Modern. Well laid out. With excellent lightings, very comfortable king size bed, large flat screen TV and a huge wardrobe. Almost floor to ceiling full length window offers a panoramic view of luxurious condos on the mountain slopes and the famous HK turf club and all its sports facilities. Bathroom: Big and spacious too with separate bath tub and rain shower cubicle. Excellent shower pressure. The basin has a mixer but with two separate tap controls. The WC is of standard design. Housekeeping: Very polite staff who keep the place really clean. Reception: Very polite and very fast. I emailed them before my arrival and received a reply instantly. I emailed them at 1am during my stay and received a reply instantly. Incredible service. Concierge: Impressive young staff. They anticipated my needs and acted on it before I even utter a word. And they have excellent knowledge of the area and HK to give us very accurate information and direction. My wife and friends say ”this is the hotel we will stay again when we come back to HK.”

The service was good. The people were nice. The facilities were also good. The room was quiet. The decorations make the hotel very cool. I didn't know they had food at this hotel.
Lanson Place Causeway Bay, Hong Kong
4.8/569 Reviews
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay
I came to Hong Kong on a business trip and found this treasure hotel, located in the core area of Causeway Bay, five minutes away from the subway station. The hotel is newly renovated, quiet and elegant with a southern French atmosphere, thoughtful service but good privacy, friendly staff, and fast service. I want to give a thumbs up to the hotel's breakfast service. There are not many dishes, but both Western and Hong Kong flavors are authentic and delicious (wonton noodles are a must). The hotel also gave an evening cocktail experience, which is exclusively developed and customized by the hotel and is very distinctive. The overall experience is very good and I will recommend it to friends and colleagues to stay next time.

Convenient location and good for a short stay. Close to Causeway Bay and the tram station is a short walk. It is not convenient to walk to the hotel from the MTR station if you have heavy luggage. Room is small but well laid out. The double bed is a bit misleading as it was two single beds put together with a thin pad covering. The washroom is small but excellent water pressure in the shower and lots of hot water. There is a convenient sitting out area on the 4th floor with what seems to be laundry facilities for guests, though not sure if there is a charge. A few areas for improvement that seem to be issues with training: 1. The shower had some surface mold. This is always a challenge for hotels in HK but was disappointed it was not cleaned after my first night. 2. The television menu of channels did not correspond with the available channels. 3. While the service was good when checking in, I was not happy with a different attendant when leaving. I asked about the location to get a taxi because of the need to take the flyover. Rather than listen to my request, the attendant just said the taxi will stop in front of the hotel. This resulted in driving around the block to get to the flyover, which takes time due to traffic. It would be better to walk around the corner to get a taxi.

Front desk agents try their best to seem nice but not really accommodating. This hotel is just really great for its location, and the room is pretty decent for the price. Service is ok, don't expect too much.

Great Hotel. Its our third stay at Regal while attending a conference and we are very pleased with the experience. Front Desk Manager Francis went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. We are very grateful for his wonderful presence. The bed could do with a little upgrading. The mattress was a tad too hard while the pillow was too soft that we needed two for our heads to feel comfortable. But overall, we are happy with our stay and will definitely come back.
