Best Western Hotel Causeway Bay

This hotel in Causeway Bay is a hidden gem when it comes to pricing, even cheaper than many hotels in Shenzhen. It's located near a wet market, so while the streets aren't the cleanest, it's super convenient for grabbing food and essentials. The biggest drawback is the air conditioning – it's incredibly loud, so light sleepers beware. It's a bit of a walk to the MTR station, but public buses are easily accessible. For airport transfers, the bus is more convenient than the MTR; the drop-off point is as shown in the picture, and the pick-up point is about a 10-minute walk from the COFCO Tower.

This hotel in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong offers incredible value for money. The price is right, and the location is fantastic! There are tons of places to eat nearby, including many dai pai dongs and tea restaurants right downstairs. Times Square is also just a stone's throw away. The location couldn't be better. I'll definitely be staying here again.

The facilities are outdated, and the hygiene is pretty subpar. The room was tiny, and the service attitude was really poor. Breakfast had very few options, barely enough to fill you up; the plain congee was just white water, and there was no bread. The only upside was its proximity to the exhibition center. I stayed here for four nights, and because breakfast was so unsatisfying, I tried to cancel one night with breakfast included. However, the hotel cited a 'tyrannical clause' saying it couldn't be refunded, meaning I had to pay double for one night just for one customer. This place is a rip-off. Consider it a lesson learned. After I emailed the hotel, I received several spam emails. In the end, Trip.com customer service politely stepped in to resolve the issue. This experience really soured my impression of Hong Kong.
