Hotels near Laforet Hakuba Museum of Art in Hakuba

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. The hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable. The lack of vegetarian / vegan food options was disappointing considering this is a Marriott Hotel. The resteraunt may not be theirs, but still expected better. The staff were very helpful, although the hotel shuttle to drop us to the station was only available for a 30 minute timeslot in the morning. Strange, but not a problem. Location is good, still has a feel that it could be a lot better by just making small improvements. Its the details that matter, at least that is why we booked Marriott. Still, we would stay here again (and maybe bring our own food).

The location is on the mountain, a bit far away. shuttle bus only a few hours, inconvenient. But the relative environment is very quiet. The women's bath can't find the sauna but the men have it. There is free self-service. There are not many breakfast options, but it is acceptable. Overall, it feels good.

the impressive property to accommodate for the winter season around Hakuba Mountain. the hotel room is traditional in Japan Style and perfectly in a comfortable size for a couple or family of 4 person including all amenities with refrigerator and water kettle to taste their inclusive green tea in the room. the hotel shuttle bus is very accommodated for the guest who might be missed the public transportation outside the time schedule which the guest would call the hotel for the shuttle bus to be picked up any place around the hotel property any times. the best services are at the selections of breakfast and dinner which can choose lots of restaurant to be in the hotel property and might need the reservation at some restaurants. If the guest would come for the winter sport without own equipment, the store is next door of this hotel property to be able providing all services; the rental, the set up and the wax for all types of winter equipment to be ready before heading up to Hakuba Mountain any times.

The biggest attraction is that it has hot springs and a large public bath. The room is spacious and more than enough for one person to stay. It's quite close to the station, and there's a convenience store near the hotel, so I think it's a good hotel. If you come to Nagano, this is the place for sure.

Good value for money, very nice Japanese-style rooms, decent breakfast, very nice onsen. True, it needs a makeover. We were a family of 6, sharing 2 spacious rooms. The tatamis are really comfortable, and the onsen après-ski is all you can wish for. It is conveniently situated: the shuttle stop is right in front of the hotel. It’s neither too close nor too far from the heart of the town with restaurants and bar.

Awesome! The location of the hotel is not ideal! It takes 7-8 minutes to walk to the ski resort bus station, and you can take the bus to various ski resorts. There are two stops each from Muchi and Iwatake Ski Resort, and it is more than 20 minutes' drive from Happo-one. The shop is very cozy, and the food is so good, of exquisite quality. There is no bathroom in the standard room, but it was shown on Ctrip. After communication, Ctrip solved the problem. The room was very small. The hardware is average, but the small store gives people a very comfortable feeling. The prices are great, and the Western food we eat is the same for six days. It feels like a Michelin restaurant!

Proximity to ski slopes, hot springs, good service There are free shuttles to nearby ski resorts or train stations. The skipass sold at the hotel has a discount. Remember to buy it at the hotel. The only thing is that the quality of the night buffet food needs to be improved.

Superb little hotel with fantastic staff and great food. We stayed 3 nights and would have liked to stay more :) Before we had even arrived, we had asked a few questions by email and the staff were exceptionally helpful. So we were pretty confident we would be looked after when we actually landed in hakuba. We arrived into Happo bus terminal and were picked up in a private transfer (Although the hotel is approx 3 min walk from the bus terminal!). But it removed the stress and got things off to a great start. We arrived around lunch and wanted to ski that afternoon, so the hotel gave us a ski pass at a great rate and contacted the ski gear rental company to come collect us. The room was perfect. We stayed in a basic room as there were no other rooms available. So meant we didn’t have an in room onsen. But honestly, we didn’t miss it. The onsen you can book for an hour is lovely. It wasn’t ever really booked up. It was really clean and an incredible way to end the day. We had a bit of a mix up and someone else staying at the hotel “accidentally” took our onsen booking. Quite a surprise when we turned up and there were people in there 😂. The hotel staff were great though, they closed one of the other two public onsens for an hour for us. They are normally reserved for just male/female only. This was a great touch and rescued what was going to be a bit of a lost evening given we had come back especially for our onsen booking. Breakfast the following day was awesome. We had the Japanese breakfast which came with lots of little dishes, all of which were delicious. Maybe the best miso soup we’ve had! Worth mentioning that I am a vegetarian, and they accommodated this with zero fuss! Switched up a few dishes for veggie ones. Which was really appreciated. I was all set to just eat cereal for 3 days! We also ate dinner at the hotel which was fabulous. Lots of little dishes all of which looked and tasted great. Again, I had a whole different vegetarian menu, with some really unusual, innovative dishes that were delicious. Didn’t think I’d have one of the nicest quiches I’ve ever had in a Japanese ski resort! Price was reasonable as well for what was a really nice dinner. All in all, highly recommend. This is a cottage type inn. Park your car in front of the cottage. Guests were greeted by a plate with their name and pet's name written on it. Pets are allowed in all cottages, beds and restaurants. The cottage itself has changed over time and is by no means new, but it was clean and had everything we wanted. Most of the pet-related amenities are also available, so there is no inconvenience. All of the staff I met at the front desk and restaurant were kind and gentle, even though they were young, and I felt comfortable. I made a reservation for my meal at Lava Grill. The meat was very tasty, but I felt like there wasn't enough variety. I might say it's just right for me when I'm about 80 percent full, but the breakfast was particularly tsukudani-based, which was a bit unsuitable for me as I don't eat white rice. There are repeats.

I was looking for an inn to go skiing to the Hakuba area, and I decided to find this and stay here. １ only for a night, but I was thinking about check-in after skiing through the Net, but in the morning, I received a call from the inn for confirmation and the time of the rental open-air bath. I was very polite and had a good feeling. When I arrived at the inn by car, I was able to guide the car and guide the parking place. Check-in, etc., is like a lounge, and while drinking tea and tea confectionery, it is done carefully by Nakai, and the yukata for the woman (the cute with the color was paid ７００ yen). After choosing etc, we were guided to the room. The room is on the ５ floor and has a semi open-air bath (you can open all the windows) on the window side. Yufune was Shigaraku Yaki, the size was satisfactory, and the hot water was satisfactory. ２４ It is very happy to put it in the hot spring at any time. The meal is not only a room meal, but I had a kaiseki dish in a private room. Breakfast was a buffet style at the convention hall and it was satisfactory here. I don't know because I don't use a large bath. It was a satisfactory stay, such as the kind response of the staff 々. I would like to use it if I have a chance.
