We stayed at the Pheonix Hotel in Ha Giang for 5 nights and had an excellent stay, the staff were highly efficient and extremely helpful. We had a deluxe room with balcony overlooking the river and the view was excellent. The hotel was quiet and I spent 3 days there myself while my partner did the Hi Giang loop, it was a great place to stay solo also and I highly recommend this hotel. From outside, turn right and a mile walk through to interesting sites into the city and up to Ho Chi Minh Square where there is always something taking place with the local schoolchildren, parades/bands etc. There is also a fantastic temple complex in the city, a market, lots of cafes and eating places with vegetarian options, easily found using Google maps etc. Ha Giang is a fantastic city to explore and still unspoiled for now. We would definitely return to the Phoenix Hotel.

The grand lobby is luxury. The suite room is big. The breakfast is the better one among the town. The city square, 0km landmark, riverside restaurants, museum, are in walking distance. The bath room and toilet are luxury. Warm Water pressure comes fast. Cool and Warm conditioner is equipped. Suite room has 2 tv sets. The corner room is 55m2 large, which can overview the Lo river and the hills. The distance to the bus station is a few minutes taxi driving. The pool is the better one in town.

The hotel was quiet and I spent 3 days there myself while my partner did the Hi Giang loop, it was a great place to stay solo also and I highly recommend this hotel. From outside, turn right and a mile walk through to interesting sites into the city and up to Ho Chi Minh Square where there is always something taking place with the local schoolchildren, parades/bands etc. There is also a fantastic temple complex in the city, a market, lots of cafes and eating places with vegetarian options, easily found using Google maps etc. Ha Giang is a fantastic city to explore and still unspoiled for now. We would definitely return to the Phoenix Hotel.

This is the best place to start and finish ha Giang loop! Avoid dirty hostels and home stays and spend your time in a wonderful garden with stunning Mountain Views. Bungalows are spacious super clean with water pressure and hot water.it is 6im from the center of the town but taxi costs only 100 vnd and they offer lift to bus station after check out! Food is more than decent and cheap! Relax here after those days on the motorbike
