Probably the best serviced apar**ent i have set in... Clean and tidy.... Sauna and club house were wonderful... Very helpful staff.. Especially the housekeepings.... Definitely will come back... In a very quiet location south of the city... Bit far from airport and nearest metro.... Overall its good... Lots malls and eateries near by hotel....

It was a wonderful experience to live in Somerset! Everything was awesome, with excellent and hospitable service. The rooms were unexpectedly good. They were clean and tidy and my kids just loved everything in there. We will definitely choose Somerset again in the near future!
Just one thing to be noted: There is a leakage pipe in the toilet of the family room. Not a big deal though. But it would be great if you can fix it.

Not as clean and modern as I expected. I was greeted by a big cockroach in the bathroom in the morning. No voucher offered for the sauna and when I checked it was turned off. The location is between two shopping malls. This location is neither the new nor the old city centre. The breakfast and gym are ok. Overall disappointing. I have stayed in several Somerset hotels and this one is the worst one.

Stay here about a week. The location is very near to 2 shopping malls so looking for the food for dinner should not be a problem. There is also Max Value in the shopping mall. It is very near Canton Fair. Service is top quality! Food is ok. Housekeeper is very kind and friendly, full scores for her!
The problem is the room condition. My room has many mold spot. Also, the facility in the room need a big renovation! PLEASE RENOVATION!

Very comfortable and good size rooms.
Plenty of hot water and a good shower!
Breakfast was varied Chinese and Western with a fresh noodle counter which was great!

Location is not convenient. Counter Service is very bad and rude and unwilling to help. We need help with our luggage. Call the front desk say look we don't have people to carry your luggage. Don't you know you have to DIY . Is this a hotel or a 宾馆 . A SO CALL up to class hotel. GENTLE REMINDER IF YOU NEED HELP WITH LUGGAGE DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL. The worst of all the on the on the 2nd Oct the 1.pm front desk is very rude,they tell us off you don't your hotel work in this way. And they luggage carrier is for display or maybe we need to pay for such service. P.S the below pic luggage is not mine.

Wonderful place to reside if you're a foreigner/first-timer in Guangzhou. Conveniently located near malls for shopping and food. Very safe area, staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. Housekeeping was exceptional with their cleaning, big appreciation to them for their effort.
