Villa Consolacion Resort

This is a prime location. Could 9 is a world famous surfing spot and a dramatically beautiful ocean beach. People come from far to surf and enjoy this beach and I was blessed to be right there for 3 weeks. I went everyday to have my morning coffee in the shade of the coconut trees, watching the surfers and the beautiful ocean. I enjoyed bathing in the warm rock pools. My villa room was spacious and clean. The sheets, towels, pillows and bed mattress thick, comfy and clean. The air conditioning is new, silent and efficient. Bong the manager is brilliant and intelligent. He will assist you for everything. He organized my airport transfers. I also rented my motorcycle at the hotel and was happy. No worries (watch out for the dogs whiles driving on the road) The staff and owner family were welcoming and honest. I felt secure and at home. Thank you for the hospitality.

You get what you pay for. If you want a budget accommodation with privacy and don't want to stay with a hostel, this is an option. Okay naman location since it is along Tourism Road. The downside is walang masyadong kainan na malapit kapag lumabas ka kaya need mo magtricycle palagi everytime gusto mo kumain. Kaya they also offer free breakfast kasi wala ka nga naman makakainan sa labas na malapit. 6:40am start ng breakfast nila tas yung babaeng assistant wala man lang urgency na ihanda agad at 7am pa magsisimula magluto. Lol. The worst part is yung pinapatay nila yung breaker ng electricty kapag tanghali (kasi inaassume nila na walang tao sa room) kaya minsan sobrang init kapag nagstay ka sa don. So need mo pa sila tanungin kung brownout ba or pinatay lang nila breaker tas tsaka nila bubuksan ulit. Lol. I suggest wag na kayo magstay dito and mas better kung makahanap kayo ng accom along Town Hall para malapit sa kaninan. Note that they collect a key deposit of 100pesos which wag ka na umasa na mababalik. Since all departure flights sa Siargao ay umaga and tulog pa sila around 5am then yung main house is nakalock so I guess yung 100pesos na kinolect is parang payment na rin sa key duplication so if ever na matapat din kayo sa ganung situation eh wag niyo ng iwan sa room yung susi at itapon niyo nalang.

Nature Vibes and Beach front location! The resort is really amazing cottages right on the beachfront with the view of famous guyam and daku Island. Super good location walking distance to everything like, surrounded with many resto BAR you don't need to ride a car or motorbike because everything is walking distance. They also have a lots of selection on the MENU both local and international food and it delicious try the BARBECUE children w/unli rice and the yummy Pizza w/ free Pithier of juice. They can also organize a private for at very reasonable price. Just simply ask the reception they can organized and advice any tours. Private tour, Island tour, land tour, kayak rentals, motor bike rental, car rentals almost everything they have. The best part for me resort is very quiet, nice garden and they have huge long beachfront that you can't feel any crowd. Highly recommended their resort, i will go back again and again. ;)
I Love Siargao Hostel

Location - This hostel has a nice location from the Cloud 9 area and from the all the restaurants along the Tourism Road- but it is recommended to rent a motorbike for convenience since you have to enter an alley just to get there. Want to note that this alley is like a pool of mud when it rains but of course this is not their fault. Ambiance/ Atmosphere - I like how different it feels inside once you get inside the hostel. It always feels homey and cozy for me, especially their hammocks in front of your room and their common area. You can either relax here alone but feel free to chat with your other hostel-mates and their friendly staff. Rooms - We booked our own private room and I would say it is just basic. They have towels for you but bring your own toiletries. They also don't have hot shower but it doesn't really matter for me since you are in a tropical island. Their AC works fine for me as well. What I just don't like about their room is the lack of closet or any rack where I can hang my clothes. Also, the walls for me are so thin that I can hear the voices of the other room beside us. There were actually a few times where we woke up to the voices of our neighboring room. Amenities & Services - They don't serve any meals here but you can cook your own meals. They have an electric kettle, gas stove, microwave, fridge, and free drinking water. For guests who are planning to stay in their dormitory rooms, I noticed that they clean the toilets regularly so that is always a plus. You can rent a motorbike from them or arrange with them surfing lessons, island tours, and van transfers. I think they offer a cheap deal for renting a motorbike so we did rent from them for PHP 350 per day for more than a week's rent. You can also ask them to clean your room if you want and also do your laundry for PHP 140 but with a minimum of 4KG. Staff- I think this what made the stay here special. They are all friendly and helpful and it was nice getting to know them and catching up with them everyday.

We were upgraded to a balcony view room as they had none of the room we booked available. The balcony room was amazing, very spacious and clean. The complex is also nice, with an area to chill out and a pool. The only issue we had with the hotel was the staff who could have been friendlier and more helpful. Otherwise a lovely stay just accross the road from the beach!

For Siargao it’s a good spot. For Cocotel it could be better. It was the place I had the best sleep though😍! I asked for a room far from the road and far from construction. So that is a big plus for me.
