Echarm Properties in Fuzhou

The hotel was relatively clean and tidy, and the location was super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. The staff were very friendly. However, there were a few downsides: 1. The Wi-Fi in the room was incredibly bad, constantly freezing like a PowerPoint presentation. 2. The mosquito repellent in the room was practically useless. Both of us were bitten numerous times throughout the night, and the bites were large and swollen, indicating some pretty potent mosquitoes in the room. 3. This was the first time I've seen a hotel in China with a separate toilet and shower, similar to what you might find in Japan. While this is an okay setup, there should really be a shelf in the shower. Where am I supposed to put my dirty clothes – throw them out or leave them on the wet, potentially trampled floor? And where do my clean clothes go? Have they considered guests who aren't couples? This doesn't seem like a new hotel, so the design choice is quite puzzling.

The room facilities are pretty much what you'd expect from a budget hotel. The price isn't bad, and the service is good. My only minor complaint is that the showerhead design isn't great – water easily splashes onto the door frame, making the hallway wet.
