I've stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fultondale a few times and it's always a pleasant experience visiting. The hotel has a great breakfast offering every morning ranging from cereal and yogurt to made-to-order eggs and sausages. The lobby is pleasant and even has an outdoor area if you want to have your breakfast out in the sun. The rooms themselves are a bit on the older side, but the hotel seemed to be in the process of remodeling last time I visited and the new amenities are a great upgrade. The service from staff varies, but one gentleman who recognized me from an earlier visit made my day last time I stopped by. If I were to make any serious complaints, it would be that the lobby sometimes gets flooded with the small of chlorine from the pool, Overall though, the hotel is very nice, affordable, and in a fantastic location.

We stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed in the room! It was the worst room we have ever seen- the room was outdated, dirty and very unkept! The bed was uncomfortable, fortunately we had a blanket that could be put across the bed to avoid having to lay directly on the stained comforter! The sink was cracked, tub was old porcelain and was cracked and dirty! We love a La Quinta and have always enjoyed a stay but this a really bad, expensive experience!!

We stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed in the room! It was the worst room we have ever seen- the room was outdated, dirty and very unkept! The bed was uncomfortable, fortunately we had a blanket that could be put across the bed to avoid having to lay directly on the stained comforter! The sink was cracked, tub was old porcelain and was cracked and dirty! We love a La Quinta and have always enjoyed a stay but this a really bad, expensive experience!!
