Absolutely stunning b&b, totally deserves the 5* award. So friendly, been here a dozen times. 10 minute walk to town or the sea front, has cliff lifts near if you struggle with hill walking. Fabulous breakfasts, all prepared & cooked fresh to order. Will definitely keep on coming here.

Perfect location, very nice owners and the whole team, quiet, charming Victorian hotel, with a delicious breakfast, definitely worth recommending. I will definitely come back here. And what is most important for me They were kind enough to let me park my motorcycle in a newly renovated area ♥️👌👌👌👌👌🤘

A lovely stay. On arrival we were given a complimentary glass of wine, very much appreciated after a 4 hour drive to get here. The location is fantastic, only a 20 minute walk into town and main front. Quite hilly but cable cars can take you up and down if needed. Lots of free parking on the road outside the hotel. Fabulous views across the sea, and over to Scarborough and the Castle. Can highly recommend room 17, on the top floor with sea views. Quite a few sets of stairs to get to. Room was clean and tidy, serviced each day. tea tray had everything you need on it. Breakfast was excellent. Only issue was the shower, temperature dropped in and out a little, and also power, this could be because we were on the top floor. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Looking forward to coming back.

Great location, beautiful and well-maintained old sea-view mansion. Friendly, attentive and responsive staff. Excellent breakfast. Room was well appointed and maintained in a classy old mansion. Our room had a great sea view, was fairly small, but well thought-out and comfortable. Excellent beds. Excellent English breakfast, lots of options.

Just got back from a last minute booking at the Mansion House. The place itself is so lovely and homely. We didn’t get a room with a view as it was the last room however, the room we had was very nice, clean with a lovely shower and a comfy bed. The host Mark was very accommodating. He advised the best route to our evening entertainment. The breakfast the next morning was also amazing! Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were great! All in all we had a lovely time at The Mansion House. If you want a B&B in Scarborough pick this one. You definitely won’t be disappointed. We will defiantly return and hopefully with a sea view room next time. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Rang the hotel to check access, and was offered room 2, which is ground floor. Lovely hotel with some nice touches. Breakfast was amazing. They do a daily special too. Free on road parking. Very helpful hosts. Lovely walk down to Scarborough with beautiful sea views.

What a brilliant couple of nights we have had at the Mansion House, Scarborough. The room was lovely, very clean and lovely bathroom. Bed very comfortable! The breakfast was gorgeous! Everything you could want for a morning breakfast. We had yoghurt with berry's/ granola and syrup in the bottom. Full English, There was cereal, fruit, breakfast bars, pastries. Fruit juices. Very nice!!! The hotel is up on the south side, which I've never been so far up before. Tge view was brilliant!! Thank you Mansion House, we will definitely return.

Another excellent stay at this lovely hotel, we were delighted to be upgraded to an apartment due to some emergency repairs meaning that our booked room was possibly going to be affected by the work, by coincidence our daughter and her partner had decided to come to Scarborough to be with us for the day, as we had been upgraded we asked if they could stay as well, we were told that would be no problem. So they went off shopping and bought some emergency supplies and stayed for both nights. The apartment was immaculately clean and as usual provided all the facilities we needed. The breakfasts were lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. We have already booked for another 3 day stay in the summer and are looking forward to visiting again. My only concern is that if we keep telling everyone how great the Mansion house is it might be difficult to book again!

Having missed out on visiting in 2023 we were really excited and looking forward to our stay. Having been several times before we expected a warm welcome, a comfortable room and a first class breakfast. We were not disappointed. We experienced a refurbished room adding to the comfort. We cannot praise and recommend The Mansion House, owner and staff enough and look forward to our next stay.
