We had an error on our reservation that was our fault...mistakes happen. When we realized our error, I called the general manager and she was so helpful in putting everything right for us. She really went out of her way to put the customer experience first and made sure that we enjoyed our time in the Hartford area. I booked this Inn for a last minute trip. It was lovely, peaceful, immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful; there are complimentary hot beverages in the lobby; there are also delicious cookies, fruits, and newspapers . When I got to my room, I found more treats, chocolates! It had been a hard day, so I was especially grateful for the warm ambience. The room that I had was spacious, elegant, very traditional, with a super comfortable bed and a fine sofa. The temperature controls worked perfectly. I did not have time to stay for the complimentary breakfast, but appreciate that it was available. Oh, yes, I would love to stay there again. Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. I had to extend the initial reservation and the staff arranged it seamlessly. The manager, Jeri, is phenomenal. She is very personable, attentive, and communicative. The front desk staff members were consistently pleasant and courteous, and I experienced nothing but friendliness and helpfulness on any occasion I encountered them. Brian, the head of maintenance, was not only amazing to fix anything that needed attention but also did it with a smile and a laugh no matter how much work had to be done. Lola and Ricky in housekeeping were always friendky and conscientious. The premises is constantly maintained to a high standard and I was impressed at the cleanliness and neatness each day. The grounds are also very quiet and have an almost park-like appearance. I have another trip upcoming to this area, and after having this very positive experience, I would not consider any other hotel for my stay. I highly recommended this ESA.
