Nestled in the heart of Dubai Marina with unparalleled views across the waterfront, InterContinental Dubai Marina is a great place to stay.
Upon arrival, Gracie, who works at the front desk, provided excellent customer service and helped me join the IHG members club, which came with a 25% discount on meals in the hotel restaurant. The concierge desk also provided excellent customer service. They ensured all the luggage was well handled during check-in and check-out. I also had a minor accident in my hotel room, where I dropped a cologne on one of the glass-covered tables, and the whole glass on the table broke. The hotel staff prioritised safety and moved me into a new room with a fantastic view without paying extra costs.
The hotel is also conveniently located. Many good restaurants, Spas, and spots like HeliDubai, SkyDiveDubai and Yacht rental places are within a 15-minute taxi ride. To get downtown, you need about 30 minutes or so, which is still great, and there are always taxis at the front door, making moving around easier.
Overall, I had a great stay at the hotel, and I would stay here again

I really liked the hotel.
It has its own large territory and sun loungers quite close to the sea, which is rare for JBR. The beach is sandy. There are crabs in the water.
As for the HB food, there were excellent Ribeye steaks for dinner. Also, only on trip.com did I see a 3-hour drinks program for HB. For literally $20 a day extra for HB for two, they open access to the bar for 3 hours from 4 pm to 7 pm with a limited selection of quality alcoholic drinks and cocktails.
There is construction. They warn about it in advance. But it didn't bother us at all.

The hotel is in walking distance to the JBR Beach and Marina. About 15/20 minutes, the hotel provides a regular bus shuttle if you are not up fir the walk. The staff where welcoming, professional and helpful with any queries we had about the hotel, getting around. Muhammed the tour organiser helped us book two excellent tours, half day tour of Dubai catered to our wishes and the VIP trip to Burj Khalifa. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. restaurant on site lots of choices for breakfast buffer and evening meal.Easy to get to Dubai Central. I woukd stay here again.

Hotel was east to get and close to Mashreq metro station. Soon as you walk in you can tell it’s a nice hotel. The check was quick, room was clean and large size. Hotel staff were very helpful and informative about breakfast and dining options. Breakfast was good value for money. Lots of options to choose from with live egg station to have what ever way you want your eggs cooked. Fried, boiled, poached, scrambled, omelette with different toppings. Only downside was there was an event on at the pool. So we couldn’t use it. They said we could enter the event but needed to pay 100 aed (£22). If not then need to go to other small pool. But was a good stay.

Great hotel with wonderful rooms with full equipment for all the necessities (even with toaster and washing machine). Great service, tasteful breakfasts, nice staff. Especially I would like to thank wonderful receptionist Sree, she provided me with the best room available from my category with pretty view, which made my anticipated staying at the hotel even more delightful. Nice private beach in 2 minutes by walk. Also with good free wi-fi that you can connect from nearest cafes. I recommend Adagio Premium The Plam to everyone!

A very good hotel with a super professional stuff. Stayed there for 3 nights. We asked for a corner room, and we really got one, but when we entered the room there was a smell of mold, and there were noises coming from the upper floor. After i contacted the reception and complained about the above, they immediately moved us to a knew room, that was fantastic. This is the kind of service that you have to get in such high level hotels. The hotel is located in an excellent location, and it is connected to a mall, with a lot of restaurants. The room was big and very comfort, and had the all amenities that you need. This hotel is a very good choice in Dubai

My stay in Mina a Salam was outstanding. The Hotel and everything around is fantastic. Beautiful newly firnished rooms. The best in the Hotel was the Service. Our roomcleaning service was one of the best we had. beginning from the vice manager Alam Meehbob who helped us with everything we need in the room, and then the best room girl of the hotel Pauline . She was a sunshine doing an excellent job in the morning and the evening. She has all the time a smile for the guest and take care for everything. Very ood instructed from her boss Alma Meehbob. Also always helping with a smile on the face was the boys on the beach, especally , Ibrahim and Charles. these two make the day easier and better on the beach. again thank you to all .

We stayed at this hotel for 21 nights, along with another 2 families we recommended the hotel to, location and hotel are let down by the service, pool service was extremely poor, lack of staff, front of house managers were rude and abrupt, they had conflicting information, no one seemed to know how the half board package worked, eating in the hotel was a poor experience as no one knew how half board worked, most nights resulted in confrontation with restaurant staff, especially piatti restaurant where the management was abrupt and rude to the ladies in our party, very poor attitude , manager said it is a separate entity so we had to pay but is is part of raffles, and the half board package, raffles should not have this eatery or manager representing there brand, we had several meetings with management throughout the 21 days to resolve , even up to the last day we still had bills for half board package that we had already paid for, the best part of the hotel was the valet services , especially mathui at the front door, concierge , always met with smile and he went over and above his role to make the hotel experience better, we stayed here last year for a week and the standards have definitely slipped, guys like Mathui should be the guys representing the raffles brand, a credit to the brand, also at the pool there was one pool staff member that went over and above his role, although under staffed he never stopped , urjan, again a credit to the raffles brand, he was far better than the front desk staff, the hotel and location are let down by service,

The date we booked is our 36 years marriage anniversary. I highlighted it when booking. The hotel is very kind and thoughtful of the special date. A nice cake and wonderful flowers are prepared in our room. We are very touched and happy.
The weather is windy but we still have inside swimming pool to enjoy. That is clean and with warm water.
My new swimming suit was left in the swimming changing room. Hotel swimming department kept it for very formally and sent to my room also with a nice bag. The swimming suit is actually a brand new and 1st time wear.
The staff in GYM room is a nice guy. When I look around there was a very early morning, no others were using the GYM. He has time so introduced a lot in patient.
Other services are also available and in very good consideration.

Best and cozy place to stay during short travels, rooms are bit of packed and small, but having all the amenities within the room and doesn't have to request from service desk.
1 large glass filterd tap water bottle with free refills are provided instead plastic bottle water. Better avoid self parking as free valet parking is provided and there is no direct access to the lobby from basement parking (vise versa).

SSheila the FavI've been in the hotel now for over 24days and mostly enjoyed my stay as the the hotel is clean, the bed is good, it smells fresh and the ambience is suitable for the price of UNDER Dh180 per night for this location. It's a really good short stay hotel but Safety is an issue and largely due to their neighbourhood.
I think that most of their hotel staff is good but watch out for sexism. They also need more training to respect consumer rights.
Also they have an issue with 'holding structure' wrt their insurance. It's now 2nd Oct 2022, so if you read this a few years later, this cld be a totally different hotel.
- Barsha Heights is an urban neighbourhood in transition. Not suitable for those a bit conservative as I am.
I seriously question the safety- marketing match for this property and would not deem it suitable for families with small kids.
1) the bathrooms aren't kid-friendly and easily over-splash. I changed to a room with a bath tub but the tub sides are too high and it's a safety hazard.
- aesthetics is good but Design is not their strong feature.
-The housekeeping staff does a really good job to wipe down the floors. These guys are good. Their senior management is also pretty good. Their overall staff in general is too inexperienced for Dubai standard.
2) the floor landings aren't well marked and some kid got off on the wrong floor and got scared and confused. I got him off on the right floor. I saw him later with his parents.
- most guests here are friendly and look out for one another. Another guest looked out for me too. It's a friendly and trustworthy space between most guests.
3) they don't put up signs that contractor work is happening. Can do better.
4) The front desk and F&B do seem to take the mickey out of solo female travellers, so be straight up on what you expect.
- Push back and know your legal rights. It's likely a cultural thing. Seen it here before decades ago too. It was wiped out then but clearly it's resurfaced. So do what you can or move to Abu Dubai or Sharjah.
5) excellent food deals! Heart of the hotel!
The food is quite good for the price. Not too oily, good selection. The breakfast per the entire week was dh200+ and comes with fresh omelletes, Asian, Indian and European as well as fresh fruit. They improved the coffee. Really good deal! Clean cafe since it's new.
The pub also has a good meal deals under Dh100 this Sept 2022. They change in October. Ask and know your consumer rights before ordering.
But like a few other Dubai restaurants, the plates and glasses smell of stale dish washer. They fixed it immediately so that's good. But no one else complained and that was surprising to me.
Potent cocktails. Good bar tender from Morocco and another from Philippines called Joseph.
6) don't stand outside to look for a cab. The Security came to get me a cab. It's safer.
Really good hotel for under Dh180 but the neighbourhood sets them back a bit. I've been here a while and thank the staff for a pleasant stay!

GGuest UserWe had a one bedroom suite with a kitchen with sea view. It was very well equipped, with dishwasher and washing machine. Very comfortable bed. Very clean on arrival and cleaned every day with fresh towels etc. The hotel has excellent facilities - large restaurant area, gym and swimming pool. Breakfast choice was superb. It is very well located - short walking distance to the Tram (Palm Jumeirah station) and the monorail to the Palm. Most notably are the hotel staff who were always welcoming, polite and helpful -especially Main at the hotel reception who was very helpful when we needed a doctor

Furthermore, I cannot overlook the exceptional culinary experience provided by Anmol at the Feast restaurant. Each morning, Anmol greeted me with a contagious enthusiasm and expertly crafted latte customized to my preferences. IIpek EmilyMy husband and I had our first holiday as a family of three with our 7 month old baby at Voco Dubai The Palm Hotel. We chose this hotel as it had a private beach (we didn’t want to spend time travelling to a beach each day), was located away from the chaos of Dubai, offered a king size bed (I cosleep with my baby), and there was an option for including breakfast (again did not want to spend time searching for or travelling to a breakfast location with a baby). Compared to other surrounding hotels, it is a relatively small and new hotel. However, this only enhanced our positive experience as it added a more personal touch. The valets (sorry I didn’t catch their names!) took our car down to the car park while other members of staff took our luggage to our room. Diana at the front desk was the first team member we met inside and made us feel very welcome. Our room was very spacious and clean. Thank you to Arun Gawam from Housekeeping! We enjoyed our coffee pods and Biscoff biscuits provided after each thorough clean. Some reviews mentioned noise but we only heard some drilling upstairs during the day and some music outside on Friday and Saturday night. Neither of these bothered us or our baby. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had plenty of choice with some of the options changing on each day so we had some variety. The welcoming, dynamic staff knew our tea and coffee orders from day one and always greeted us with smiles. We were asked daily if we wanted our eggs cooked in a certain way. This was great because our baby is just getting started on solids. Our baby girl loved seeing all the hardworking, smiley members of staff waving at her every morning. I would particularly like to thank Rojean, Rashmi and Aldrin as well as Fasha, Shiela, Juliet, Dioseth, Anu, Marion, Fhaizan, Amin, Chef Prabin, Chef James, Chef Anyu, Ariz, Sun and Puja. The private beach was a highlight of our holiday. We loved the easy and quick access to the beach with bottles of water and beach towels provided upon arrival. The cabanas were great for privacy as I had to breastfeed my baby on the beach. The WiFi was hit and miss on the beach but I guess that helped us relax more. Thank you to Bidan, Chamodi and Roni for taking care of us there! The only downside for me was the lack of power socket to plug the hairdryer in the bathroom or next to the mirror in front of the bathroom or by the mirror in front of the desk. We had to plug the hairdryer in the socket by the bed and therefore had to dry our hair on the bed, which wasn’t a major issue, just an inconvenience and a little loud right next to our baby. Overall, it was a great holiday experience thanks to each and every member of staff!

GGuest Userstayed one night in this hotel. The lobby is nice clean and inviting. The hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful. room was big and clean with a coffee machine and all amenities. Location is just a little off, located 20 minutes away from the burge khalifa and 10 minutes from the gold suk but you get anywhere with a taxi.

GGuest UserHighly recommend this place for any person. They got everything you need covered. The staff is very friendly and very kind. If you need any advice about places to visit or things to do while you are there, ask from Mahesh (a guy works there). He'll be very informative and specific about the places according to the time you have. Another perk is that the hotel is closer to a metro station and also surrounded by the Dubai creek. As this place is situated somewhere like the middle of Dubai, it is very easy to access anywhere you need. Rooms are clean and neat. Can easily accessible through lifts and NFC system. Do also have the mini bar option and dine in from room option. Food is also nice and tasty.

GGuest UserI had an amazing one night stay at the QE2 - as a Brit now living in Austrália the QE2 has a special place in my heart - never as a Cunard ship could I have afforded travelling to New York - now I could and the ship is sparkling - the renovation is fantastic throwing you back to the heyday of her life - the service was fantastic the food and drink authentic and worth the stay! My wife says I better come back with her

VVarunI stayed at Grand Excelsior hotel Al Barsha one night in Dec 2022. What an amazing hotel. I was greeted with such kindness and this continued throughout my stay. I booked the king room and my room was situated on the 6thfloor. The room was fantastic. Clean, modern, and had a fantastic view over .The rooms were big for dubai standards. I can’t complain about this hotel.
