My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent 5 night stay at the Hotel Quinta Duro. The hotel is located just outside the city center of Gijon on a country estate with a 300+ year old home. The home has been lovingly maintained with much of its original character and charm intact. Quinta Duro is a family owned and operated business and it shows in the attention to detail taken to provide a friendly welcome and a delicious breakfast. Each day, our host, Jesus, took the time to answer all of our questions and to provide a truly outstanding breakfast consisting of freshly baked breads, pastries, and orange juice in addition to a selection of fruit, cheese and ham. Our room was large, clean and comfortable and equipped with a modern en-suite bathroom. I highly recommend a stay at Hotel Quinta Duro. I am confident that most people will appreciate the uniqueness of the property and the value provided by the Duro family.

This lovely hotel is an old family home situated in spacious grounds. We were made to feel very welcome and given all the information we needed. Rather than drive into Gijon which was very busy and tricky to park we walked to the bus about 15 minutes away. It was then an easy trip in and out of the town. There was a lovely restaurant just a few minutes walk away. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. All in all a lovely relaxing few days.

I wish I lived closer so I could stay at this hotel more often! Imagine a full day of walking on the Camino del Norte and arriving at the gates to this stunning hotel. It was perfect in every way. Our host Jesus was extremely charming and very welcoming. This is a family owned and operated business situated on spacious, peaceful and meticulously maintained grounds. Jesus was very attentive and answered all questions about the house and his family history. The house is beautifully decorated with family portraits, antique furniture and proudly displayed on the upstairs level is a letter written by his great grandfather to Woodrow Wilson. Our room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The bar fridge was impressively stocked. My friends and I especially enjoyed the Codorniu Benjamin Cava which we shared in the comfortable main floor living room. The breakfast was generous and nicely presented. It was truthfully a most enjoyable and memorable stay.

Hotel relajante a las afueras de Gijón, que te permite estar tranquilo en plena naturaleza o acercarte al bullicio de Gijón en 5 minutos a cenar, a la playa, a pasear... No cambio este hotel por ningún otro, hace años que venimos y es una delicia todo.

Petit hôtel digne d'un parador dans la même famille depuis plusieurs génération. Hôtel de charme avec un mobilier et une décoration ancien et de style combiné avec tous le confort moderne. Hôtel complètement hors du centre ville au calme mais près de cidreries-restaurants (et l’accès à Gijon en voiture est simple). Bon petit déjeuner avec un seul regret : pas d’œuf. Le propriétaire fait tout pour que vous vous sentiez bien. Sans hésiter si je repasse par Gijon

Wat een prachtig hotel met mooie ruime kamers. Erg sfeervol en je wordt erg vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen. Geen restaurant in het hotel en het ligt wel afgelegen maar ik zou het zeker doen. Heerlijk ontbijt. Dit is echt een oase van rust en ik kom graag een keer terug

Très bel hôtel dans un cadre de verdure incroyable. Un peu excentré du centre ville de Gijon, cet hôtel permet de faire une pause reposante avec un parc très beau, des chambres de grandes qualités et un accueil au top. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et la qualité des prestations est au rendez-vous. Cependant, il faut disposer d'un moyen de transport pour choisir cet hôtel.

Bellissima romantica villa con parco secolare. Il giovane e gentilissimo proprietario, discendente dalla nobile famiglia che ha costruito la proprieta', si occupa direttamente del servizio breakfast e della reception. Ma, purtroppo , la villa e' vicinissima ad una superstrada per cui si torna subito al secolo ventunesimo con i suoi rombanti e continui rumori. Peccato!
