Forest Lodge Apartments

Avoid at all cost. The place is filthy, and rundown is an understatement. Mould growing on furniture, filth on walls, broken bedroom door held on with one hinge, nearly fell off. Bathroom falling apart. Just shabby. Uninhabitable and should be removed off booking sites. You could tell from even driving in as the grounds are not cared for either. I did not stay and all money was refunded. Staff even admitted the place is not suitable. Being used now for long term stays by people who can't find housing.

Sheets where dirty and had blood and something else that smelt horrible on them, old run down, back of toilet was taped up. Shower and bath old and dated, manager at the time was too busy talking to friends out the front to show us where our room was. All in all, a bad experience and wouldn't recommend the place to anyone

I've given 5 stars not because it's a slendiferous luxury, but because it is perfect in atmosphere and value. Right in the middle of Indooroopilly, one of the older and enjoyable suburbs of Brisbane (in case you didn't know, Brisbane has a mix of horrible and delightful suburbs, and Indooroopilly is delightful!), close to train and bus, close to shops, close to green leafy walking, well presented and clean units. But what really hit it off for us was the wonderful garden. It took us back to the Malayan Peninsular ambience. I don't have anything to complain about with Forest Lodge. The units were comfortable, the bed comfortable, silent nights, and even a gas stove! Certainly, we will be back as this is an eminently suitable accommodation in the heart of Brisbane.
