We had to check in very late (about 02:30), but that was not a problem at all. The service was very friendly and helpful. We had booked a room for 3 people over Booking.com that was unfortunately no longer available on site. We were fully unproblematic and without additional costs ”distributed” to two Comfort double rooms and received another drink from the house bar for free as an excuse. The rooms themselves are very well equipped and comfortable. The included breakfast was the “hammer” and very rich and varied. Of us absolutely recommended. A parking house is right next to and has not cost us anything.

Arrived tired and hungry after travelling and working non-stop since the day before. Reception was efficient and friendly and the room great! Clean, spacious and comfortable with ample tea and coffee on offer. I went down to the restaurant. The staff are GREAT. However, although I am on a work trip - I could not bring myself to order as I felt awkward ordering such a pricey meal, so I went for the pizza at 12€ This pizza filled the hole in my stomach, but as a routine supermarket pizza buyer (usually on offer at around 3€), I immediately recognised the pizza that arrived. It was dry and lacked taste and left me feeling slightly resentful - but I ate it and washed it down with a red wine, as I was too hungry and tired to complain and wait for something else. A really good place to stay: convenient, good location and transport links... but maybe fill up before you arrive. Or maybe order from one of the cheaper tastier delivery options. In the morning, I had to be at work for 07h00. Because I arrived exhausted, I mis heard the receptionist say that breakfast was at 06h30. All I heard was 06h00. I needed to catch a taxi at 06h30, so I went down to breakfast at 06h10. I had booked b&b rates, so breakfast was included. Everything was set up but the lights were dimmed, so I helped myself to some fruit and a coffee (all I really need for breakfast). At 06h15, man in charge of breakfast came and moaned at me. He was really grumpy and unkind. He told me I was too early and that I should go and sit in the bar area so no one would see me (er, there was no one else there!). He was totally inflexible and rude. I explained my mistake to the receptionist and said I needed to cancel my breakfast booking as I would not be allowed to eat it the following morning (as I had to be at work by 07h00 again). The receptionist kindly packaged me up some more fruit, water, yoghurt and a small mars bar to take with me. After spending 07h00 - 17h00 at work, 99% of the time on my feet, I arrived back to find my room unserviced. Clearly the hotel has its rules and sticks to the rules that are convenient (like breakfast time), but is happy to break the rules like servicing a room. I did not actually care that the room was unserviced, it makes little difference to me - but on principle, after being made to SO unwelcome at breakfast, I thought it ironic that the hotel didn't actually fulfil their side of the contract. The reception staff are great, and when I mentioned it to them, said that if I need anything, I must just let them know.

Very convenient situated, on walking distance of the airport terminal T1 and T2, as well as from the airport parking P2. The hotel has no car parking facilities. It's a large hotel, with a reception, bar and restaurant on the 5th floor, all very cosy. We enjoyed drinks at the bar, as well as from tasteful meal at the restaurant. The standard room is of normal size, the bathroom is rather small and sized for 1 person at the time. Surely recommend this hotel when travelling from the Cologne-Bonn airport.

We (mother with 2 children) have stayed here 1 night between visiting Phantasiapark and the day of Cologne. Prima price, a net (small) room and a breakfast for €10.50 pp. The breakfast was very wide, the room for breakfast was very uncomfortable but further good. Staff was very friendly. No congestion of the aircraft (it is near the airport) or other traffic due to very well-isolated windows. Hotel is located 15m drive from the centre of Cologne but 10m walk you can also take the train and leave your car free of charge at the hotel. I'll be a recommender for one night.

Super location directly on the Rhine. In the surroundings there are many ways to go shopping or eat. Significantly more relaxed than in Cologne directly and yet the ideal starting point for the Cologne trip. Best to go to Cologne by train at weekend. Breakfast is completely OK. Bed comfortable. Checkout absolutely more than enough. Clean was it with us too. Price performance ratio fits.

The hotel is located in the airport area. In fact, it is only 2 stops away from the exhibition hall and 3 stops away from the main railway station. The environment is very quiet, which is different from the many planes taking off and landing around the domestic airport. The hotel environment is average, I have stayed in before, so I did not choose the buffet breakfast this time, there are really few categories! There is KFC next to the hotel and McDonald's opposite the subway station. Most of the service staff have a very good attitude. Unfortunately, when I checked in, a female receptionist who looked like an intern took my Voucher and asked me to pay. I said the money had been paid. She said no. Later, after the Ctrip staff called to communicate, they asked another employee to check that the payment was indeed made. Another thing is to ask me for CITY TAX, my Voucher clearly says CITY TAX INCLUDE, and when I live in other cities in Germany, I only need to fill in a form that is because of the business coming to Germany, and I can exempt CITY TAX. This The reception is obviously not understood. Moreover, the English level is not good and communication is difficult. I gave her my exhibitor ID and asked her to copy it, but nothing else... At the end of November in Germany, it was dark at 7 in the morning, and it was dark after 4 in the evening. Das Airport Hotel Cologne liegt an der Autobahnausfahrt Troisdorf, ist gut zu erreichen und im Motelstyle. Die Entfernung zum Flughafen schnell zurück gelegt.Wir bekamen als Award Kunde ein Upgrade auf ein Buisnesszimmer, das war für eine Nacht ausreichend groß, hatte ein kleines, sauberes Bad.Check in und out schnell und einfach. Frühstück bekamen wir nicht, da wir schon um 4.30 Uhr das Hotel verlassen musst um zum Flughafen zu fahren.
