This time I stayed at the Xipu Hilton on a business trip to Chengdu. Like other Hiltons, the decoration is simple and elegant, and there is a fresh fragrance as soon as you enter the lobby. The room is large, well-equipped, and has a small refrigerator for temporarily freezing fruits. The hotel also has robots that can deliver takeaways, so you don’t have to go downstairs to get them, which is very convenient. We were very satisfied with our stay in the room. Due to our itinerary, we asked the ladies at the front desk if we could check out later, and the ladies at the front desk extended our stay to 2:30 for free. Thank you so much, five stars. I would like to commend the front desk ladies Alan, Yingying, Xiaoran, and Yuanyuan for their enthusiastic service. The invoices are also issued very carefully. Hilton, your first choice for business trips!

Because it is a chain hotel, I chose this store. The price is also suitable and overall it is good. The newly renovated facilities and equipment of the hotel are very good. There is a free parking lot. There is also a wide range of food, drink and entertainment nearby. The service attitude of the lady is also very good. He enthusiastically and patiently introduced some nearby delicacies. The room was very spacious and the hot water for bathing came out quickly. This was really good in the cold winter and a very satisfying experience.

Very good. I extended my stay for seven days. The service was warm and the sanitation was clean. The aunt who did the cleaning was very nice. Seeing that I was not feeling well, she helped me get water and left a thoughtful note. I forgot her name. The aunt who cleaned room 710. . The breakfast is also delicious. Everyone smiles at each other and it’s very comfortable.

The hotel service is very good. They will call in advance to reconfirm the check-in time and room preferences.
The hotel is close to Xipu Railway Station. The hotel is 200 meters away from Tianhe Road Metro Station. It only takes 1 subway stop to the railway station. When going to Dujiangyan, Qingcheng Mountain is recommended to stay here, it is very convenient to start in the morning.
The location is a bit far from the center of Chunxi Road. It takes 40 minutes by subway. It depends on your own arrangements.
The room size is OK, the bathroom is clean, the bed is in good condition, it is quiet at night, and I sleep very comfortably.
The entire hotel is in a separate building, and the security is good. You need to swipe your card to take the elevator.
The variety of breakfast was okay, more than the Holiday Inn hotels in the city where I stayed later. It seems that meals start at 7 o'clock, which is suitable for those who get up early.

After the trip to Jiuzhaigou, the group disbanded at Jinke North Road. I searched for this hotel on Ctrip, and it turned out that my choice was right. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was separated into three parts, and it was intelligently controlled. The staff was warm and helpful, and it was convenient to eat and buy things around. It was cost-effective.

The front desk service was good, check-in was fast, and any problems were solved in a timely manner. The transportation and dining around the hotel are also convenient. This location is quiet in a busy area, at least it is quiet at night. The breakfast dishes are a bit limited, but I give extra points for the bowl of noodles.

The location is good, not too far from the subway station, only 5 minutes walk. The boss is very nice. He upgraded the room for free and the service is very warm. The room was also very comfortable and the air conditioning was very powerful. I will stay here next time.

The environment and hygiene of the room are quite good, but the sound insulation really depends on it. . . I could clearly hear the quarrel in the room next door. The restaurant is very small and there is nothing to eat. I think we can have better service at this price. If you must choose this hotel, remember to bring earplugs (・o・)

LLvsezhiziI stayed for two nights during the May Day holiday and was very satisfied! First of all, it is worth recommending that the service attitude is very good, and it takes all aspects of the guests into consideration. It makes guests feel at home, and the service is far better than that of a five-star hotel. Secondly, the environment is very good. It is located between two mountains full of bamboo forests. The garden design is great, and it has its own mountain trail and tea pavilion developed on one side of the mountain. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the garden and on the mountain trail. The room is a large Japanese tatami style, including goose*stone slabs in the room, which the kids love very much. Breakfast is served one by one, with a unique style. Dinner is a standard meal, very rich, and also suitable for kids. It's a pity that it rained for two days and I didn't see the fireflies. I will come to see the fireflies in July~

CChrissy_HankMy boyfriend and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Chengdu Panda Garden during our visit to Chengdu. We were really impressed with how beautiful the hotel was and how friendly the staff was. Upon check-in, they upgraded our room to a very spacious panda room, and I must say, the view from our bedroom window was immaculate. The hotel provided a shuttle to go to the Panda breeding park. My only disappointment was I didn’t stay long, as our visit to Chengdu was short. Despite the hotel's location, I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chengdu. I really love my stay, and I will definitely be staying back here when I revisit Chengdu.

JJaneyyy89This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms.
Some noteworthy details:
- Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort.
- The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include:
(a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now!
(b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room
(c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C.
(d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold.
- Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them.
- We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away.
- We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2.
- Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too.
- We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests.
Areas of improvement:
- Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake.
- The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper.
- Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor).

GGuest User1) Subway station is 30 seconds right across the road.
2) Location is good because it is enveloped by a few famous narrow alleys selling handicraft, snacks, desserts, souvenirs, Chinese artwork etc, and have endless food stalls, coffee shops that surround the hotel, buzzing with activities all day till at least 11pm.
3) Hotel staff speak minimal English but they do understand it albeit not able to converse freely. Naturally using PTH is best.
4) Staff in the entire hotel are very friendly, courteous, pleasant and accommodating, trying to help in any way possible.
5) Bespectacled night manageress in a black suit was very welcoming and sweet. She offered to upgrade us when the room originally assigned for us was not as quiet as we had requested when we booked it. She led us to see the original one ( 2/F )and the other one ( the quieter one on 3/F ) and let us choose.
6) The upgraded room ( 3/F ) was a suite and it was really nice --- very quiet with courtyard view and tasteful lay out.
7) Cannot praise enough for the delightful suite -- spacious and elegant ; super clean ; smells nice , refreshing and just right not overwhelming ; white crispy bed linen ; daily turn down service; endless supply of fresh bottled water on daily basis ; spotless tumbler and fresh bottle of water by the bedside table every evening; everything you touch is spotless ; wooden flooring matching Chinese wooden furniture in simple design giving out this classy Chinese feel ; free to consume anything for the 1st time in the mini bar ; tea & coffee replenished daily ; kettle and coffee machine; free stationery like scissors, stapler, clips, pencil and pens etc; toiletries like vanity set, combs, toothbrush etc replenished daily ; spacious bathroom with double wash basins and clean white towels ; wash basins in rose gold but not tacky; shower drainage not smooth on 1st night but they fixed it and no prob thereafter ; water pressure from shower was good and plenty of marble top inside shower room for your own toiletries ; bathtub with fresh rose petals on 1st night and various types of bath salt ; big screen to watch telly while in tub ; separate toilet near living room; ample wardrobe space and power operated blinds and black out blinds. They provide steam iron on request but it would be better to have a proper flat iron if you want to press pants and other thicker harder material. Steam iron is only good for silk or plain cotton. Even linen is better with a flat iron.
8) This is a 100% Chinese ambience hotel from lobby to our suite but nothing is gaudy or ostentatious because everything is simple, no fuss, low-key, very clean, good architecture, functional and all colour combo is soothing to the eyes.
9) We ate at their restaurant the 1st night and food was ok -- dan dan noodles slightly overcooked so it was a bit mushy. Fried rice was a huge serving with fresh shrimps and nicely cooked. Tea could be hotter. Service was attentive, efficient and proper.

GGuest UserWe had a great time in Chengdu and our stay at minyoun hotel helped make all the difference. It is quite a luxurious hotel with the reception on the 33rd floor and rooms even higher up meaning that all rooms came with an unobstructed view of the city skyline.
Location was also great being within walking distance ~7-10mins to taikooli (shopping area) and lankwaifong (bar/club area). It was also only 100/200meters away from a metro station which we honestly didn’t use, as taxis were all only 10-20rmb (~€2)
Finally the staff were excellent and particularly helpful at every request. Special shoutout to the 2 girls (apologies if we have the names wrong but Chris and Joy?), and Stefan Hu who took the time to suggest all the best places to visit around Chengdu - helping us add the locations to our maps and gifting us a tourist information notebook and panda!
We really enjoyed our stay at minyoun hotel and would highly recommend staying here. The staff brought our stay to another level, thank you ⭐️

WWen KaiGreat and convenient location, to the point we extended another night stay. Only 200m to People's Park station, subway Line 2, which can connect you almost anywhere. Able to walk to People's Park and Kuanzhai Alley, even Tianfu Square if you can walk 2km. Also have a convenience store available downstairs of the same building, and Hong Qi store if you walk a bit further. Many tour agencies are on the opposite road, where you can book day tours. The tour bus pickup and drop off points are also only around 1km from this building, easy to walk to due to the extra-wide sidewalks. It's facing the main road so you can easily get taxis as well.
The building is easy to locate, but the check in counter is more confusing to find. When looking in from the main road, the convenience store is on the left, so you need to go to the opposite side of the convenience store. You need to walk to the back of the building and find the entrance facing the wall with a car park boom gate. There is a security guard and there are lots of online delivery boxes. Then, access the elevator and the reception is on level 26.
There was a washing machine and detergent available in our unit, which we utilized. Other than the clothes hanging bar in the kitchen, the rest of the unit lacked places to hang things such as wet towels. It was a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit with another queen bed in the living room. Hot water was always available though you have to fiddle with the lever and wait some time. The kitchen only had a water kettle and a few mugs. There's a primary school right beside the building and you can hear the students every weekday morning. (My photos were taken just before checkout so don't mind the mess)
The owners are an exceptionally friendly couple who are hardworking and provide excellent service. They are open to feedback and we've told them what we think was lacking in our unit. Hopefully they will implement the small improvements. They also recommended a few restaurants to us that had good local food and were reasonably priced.
Recommend to add them on WeChat prior to arrival and communicate your arrival time. They wait at the front desk past midnight if they don't know the guest's check in time. However, they can only communicate in Mandarin, so you may face some difficulty.

MM. NurhaikalGreat hotel. Located a mere 10mins walk away from Taikoo Li, Chunxi Road and the metro station. A convenience sits right beside the hotel too. Good variety of rooms to choose from. We got a free upgrade to a corner room that had a wider entryway. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Comes with a kettle however no mini fridge. Hotel comes with a laundry room with washers and a dryer. Service was generally good. Left luggage service available.
Would recommend staying here of you're looking an afforable place to staynin Chengdu.

GGuest UserThis is probably your best option in Chengdu. The rooms are really cute with a tatami style bed and they are clean. The water pressure is awesome and the room is quiet. The staff speaks English so it is easy to communicate and get help/info.
The hang around areas are nice and the roof top has a great view but the beers are a bit expensive for being a hostel.
Zoey that works in the reception is the best! She is super service minded and will help you with everything!
She helped us much more than expected from the hotel/hostel staff. Without her our visit would have been much less nice and more complicated.
The hostel should be super happy to have her and should do everything in the world to keep her! If we go back to Chengdu we would choose this hostel over a nicer hotel just because of the brilliant service, thanks a lot Zoey!
The laundry service upstairs works great and it is cheap but there is only one machine and you can hang your clothes there and they dry quickly or you use the dryer. We didn't have any issues waiting to use them etc.

HHana moriThe hotel name is rather deceiving. When I booked, I thought it was IHG's Holiday Inn, but it's actually not. The location is somewhere in the middle of a village near the airport, but luckily they provided free airport pick up service (For international tourists, it's best to get a local number to call the hotel). Due to construction works nearby, the distance to the airport took longer than expected. But, overall the stay is okay as the room is nice and comfy.
