We enjoyed our staying this hotel because of the service and the amenities. Breakfast was good. Laundry area good. Midnight snacks good. The location for me is a bit misleading. KuanZhai Alley is around 1km away. People's Park is also around that far. The metro is around 600meters away.
So we spent more in taking cab because we want to spend most of our energy walking in the sites rather that walking TO the sites. If cab is your main point of transportation, this hotel is highly recommended. If you prefer to save on transport, choose another venue closer to the subway.

Very nice hotel. Very clean and helpfull staff. Get free present from staff. Will come back again if go visit Chengdu.

The best hotel I stayed so far.
5 stars service. Helped me take care of my laundry.

We’ve had an amazing 5 nights at Nostalgia hotel. Location is walking distance from tonghuimen station, Service was wonderful. We were greeted warmly during check in and rooms were very clean. They have warm plum tea / chrysanthemum tea prepared at the lobby every morning and warm desserts every night between 7pm-12pm, which was free for all guests. They truly went the extra mile on their service, we did our laundry late at night, and we realised we could leave our laundry to run in the dryer and they were nicely folded and packed into a bag for us to collect at the reception counter in the morning. Definitely recommend this place!

Amazingly good hotel in terms of service, location, cleanliness, amenities. Cleanliness is excellent. Hotel location is very convenient. Next to it is a minimart, nearby are fruit stall, eateries, subway station 通惠门 (Tonghuimen). 宽窄巷 (Kuanzhai Alley) is also within walkable distance. Counter staff are very helpful. We wish to complement 周丽 for her warm, pleasant introduction and many help when we arrived at 7am amid very cold weather. We also wish to complement 许小红 for her very pleasant manner and going extra mile in giving us prompt help in many ways. A pleasant surprise is that the hotel provides warm drinking bottled water at the counter, free-flow of coffee, tea and also light supper.

very unique hotel, I like the hotel inside view, very different with other china hotels, the owner have good sense of art, they provide snack night and in the morning there is beverages in the reception hall. we like this hotel , just 3minutes walk we will find the main road, there is food stalls near hotel where we can have breakfast for jus 12rmb n it's nice, very good experience, we would absolutely stay there again if we go Cheng du in future..thank you

I really liked my stay here, the hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. They even offered me breakfast for free. There were also always some fresh drinks and snacks in the common area. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The location was also very convenient, only 10minutes to KuanZhai Alley or People’s Park. The only downside was that you could often hear the people in the corridor, but if you used earplugs it was okay. Also my room was on the lowest ground so if I opened my curtains everyone could look inside so I had to keep them closed. But beside that it was a great experience.
