Loved our stay, below are a few things to improve upon:
1. Booked a King, hotel received reservation for a Queen.
2. No way to darken the room, light filtered in greatly from Plantation shutters and from the hallway light through the door.

We loved our stay! So close to everything we never used our car, but it was nice to know it was safe and close by in case we needed anything in it. The breakfast and evening wine and snacks were yummy and the dining area looked down over the beautiful city!

Everything we wanted to do in Historic Charleston was within walking distance and we felt safe outdoors even at night/ The staff was helpful and the breakfast on the 4th floor was very good along with the view of the town.

The inn is walking distance to many historical sights in the Charleston area.
The wine social was an added plus! Barbara was delightful! Great breakfast each morning.
The only downside was the bed mattress was in need of replacing. A very uncomfortable two night stay.

Loved the charm of the Inn and the well appointed bedrooms and bathroom.
Enjoyed the dinning room at the top with river views.
The wine and food offerings in the afternoon was a pleasant surprise (or we did not read about it).
Staff was friendly and helpful with information about the neighborhood and dinning options

Great location. We walked everywhere and it all was close enough! Check in was easy and they texted me to check how everything was. Super convenient! Housekeeping was great when we needed new towels and stuff. Valet parking $28 per day but the car is right there and no charge for in and out (we didn’t move the car the whole time). Tons of restaurants close by. Charleston City Market one block away. Carriage rides one block away as well. So convenient. It’s a historic inn so the room was small and a double bed which was extra soft. Would have preferred a firmer mattress but slept great. So quiet !

Beautiful, historic hotel that’s been restored to its original state. All staff are personable and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Many tastefully touched such as a complimentary wine and cheese every day, coffee and tea in the lobby anytime of day and cookies upon arrival make this a must stay.
