Hotel Albion Mountain Spa Resort Dolomites

Castelrotto|4.89km from downtown
The Hotel is nice and staff mostly friendly and attentive. However, attention to detail and quality is missing for the money you pay. I think it’s a management issue. Most rooms don’t have air-condition so it can be quite hot at night. We are in a Junior Suite and you would expect an aircon when paying almost €400 a night. The bed seems older and sinks in on the side. What I do not understand for a 4*S Hotel is the fact that the minibar is empty. You have to shop your drinks yourself. No coffee machine in the room. Iron and Iron-board we had to order at reception. Breakfast is very nice, but we got half-board and dinner has been pretty ordinary each night. We ordered cake twice. The Apfelstrudel was the worst I had in my life. The Marmorkuchen the next day was hard and dry. Staff is friendly, helpful but they don’t give you the feeling “we love you to come back next time”. They do what they have to do and you can’t complain but there is something missing. The pool area is nice but you don’t get any service. They could set up an outdoor bar and a coffee machine for people to help themselves. That would work. Towels you have to bring from your room. It is a shame and I thought I give 3 points in my review. But I give 4 points because the Junior Boss is such a nice guy, super friendly, attentive and helpful. With him in Service things look up. I hope the hotel can fix the few things we addressed with a bit more attention to detail, the Hotel could easily get a 5* rating. For the price you pay, we expect the little extra service and attention to detail. The Junior Chef is showing he is willing to go the extra mile which is lovely to see.

La Paula Apartments & Suites

Siusi|2.39km from La parrocchia di Castelrotto
The best apartments and suites in South Tyrol managed by an awesome man named Michael. You will be amazed at his hospitality, and the place itself will surprise you with its restrained beauty and design, which is exactly what it should be in the mountains. Briefly: The rooms are very comfortable, the mattresses are pleasant, the bed linen is delicate, the bathrooms are very neat, the apartments have a kitchen with all the necessary amenities, and most importantly, both the suites and the apartments are cleaned every day and the cleanliness is 5+. I would also like to pay great attention to the cosmetics that I use in this place since they are excellent. Breakfast - we stayed in the middle of the week, and since there were few people in the hotel, we received our breakfast in the room, having previously selected from the menu what we wanted to eat, and I will tell you that there is a very wide selection of assortment: cheeses, sausages, fruits, pastries, juices, and hot drinks, desserts - in general, even a gourmet will be surprised! SPA is the paradise of this place. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail, you move comfortably, from sauna to sauna - from Finnish, steam to infrared saunas, and then you can spend time in the relaxation zone with a beautiful melody. Massage services are also offered, but unfortunately, I did not have time to sign up, I will leave my review next time, but I have no doubt about the quality of not only massage but also the cosmetics that are used during the procedures since I saw it in the window, whereby the way you can purchase it if you like. The staff is friendly, helpful since the apartments are small, then for 3 days of my trip, I met only the receptionist, the maid, and Michael, but I can tell you that all the staff is very hospitable, they are always ready to help, suggest, recommend, in general, do so that you really come there to relax, and not think about anything other than your planned vacation, which you dreamed of, and here you will also be surprised how the staff will take care of you and Michael's great service to this all. I am glad that I was able to visit such an unforgettable place, although for such a short time due to the business trip and all the measures of Covid-19, now I know where to stay in South Tyrol! Thanks to Michael and all the staff of the Paula Wiesinger Apartments & Suites. I hope to visit you very soon.

Icaro Hotel
4.7/543 Reviews
We spent September 9 through 11 at Hotel Icaro. We had a slight difficulty in locating the hotel upon arrival as the gps isn’t pinpoint accurate in this area. We had Excellent service from all the staff during our 2 night (too short) stay. We particularly enjoyed the service and conversations with our primary waiter, Paulo. Facilities are wonderfully maintained, views of the Dolomites are spectacular. Hiking, though reputed to be easy is “mountain easy”, not for an easy walk. There are many walking paths around the grounds which fit the bill for the less adventurous. One caution, be sure to take euros for the bus as no credit cards or other currency is accepted and you will be denied access.
La Cort My Dollhouse - Adults Only

I fell in love with their SPA area with all the facilities: many sauna rooms, different drinks, ice baths, relaxing room BUT the hot outdoor pool is amazing, especially in the winter. They also have breakfast and lunch so you don’t need to waste your time looking for restaurants. The staff is so kind - they give you all the information that you need. There was a young lady who made me a delicious coffee every morning. The rooms are spacious and cozy and the cleaning is well done. You also have an amazing view to the Dolomites. Aaand you can also have fun in the evenings by mixing your favourite cocktail. 🤍 I will definitely come back because I want to visit the Dolomites in the summertime.

This is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We fell in love with this hotel in a visit during the summer and had to stay again, this time in October to see the larches in fall colors. There is so much attention to detail in the interior, service, amenities and food! All the staff were so welcoming and kind! The food deserves a particular mention. The half board is an incredible value for the quality - the dinners we have had here are among the best we’ve had in our entire lives. We cannot wait to return as soon as we can to see the rebrand and hope it’s every bit as magical on our third visit.
