I aint the one who usually complains, but with this hotel I had to. From the moment I arrived, I had issues with the hotel. I paid for 2 triple and 2 double. They gave me twin rooms instead of Double, they changed 1 twin on first day and 2nd twin room the next day. The lights on one of the triple rooms did not work so they changed that room too. Funny thing was that every time they changed our rooms, there was always a new issue. The AC did not work, the bidet did not work, some rooms had fridges some didn't, but those who had a fridge, it did not work. No tea or coffees in the rooms (I think this is standard for this hotel), The bathroom locks did not work on 2 rooms. They fixed that the day before we checked out. The card reader for the door stopped working so we had to use another room to access our room and then the following day we were changed to another room. All this moving to one room to another caused a lot of inconvenience. I just wonder how this is a 4 star hotel. The receptionist staff Maryam and Amina were great, serving with a smile, but nonetheless those smiles did not fix the problem. They did try but there is only so much they can do. Swimming pool is extremely cold and has no heating. Also it is next to the massage rooms so no talking or splashing allowed. Re the Restaurant, we did not eat there , so cannot give much feedback on that. But it looked empty and deadPositive is that there is a 24 hour shop opposite the hotel and there is a market 5 minutes walk from the hotel towards the left. to conclude: Not a place I would recommend.

Where to begin, maybe from arrival. Having been through the equivalent of hell at the airport, all I and the other weary passengers wanted was to get into the hotel, shower and relax. Dying plants at the entrance, don't fill you with hope. It's not difficult to fill the pots with more soil and water them but c'est la vie. There was no help with your bags, unless you begged and I wasn't going to do that. I did feel for those with children and the more mature members of the group. It was clear that the hotel was understaffed and overwhelmed. Reception was a nigh**are at the time of arrival. Luckily, my fiancé (Moroccan) and his best friend were there to support me or I would have had no idea. The older gentleman at reception didn't speak English and to be honest, he just looked like he didn't want to be there. After some loud negotiations, I got my room. At first, they were going to put me in a room with a single bed, even though I paid 8000dh for 10 days quarantine. I did get a room with a double bed in the end, room 209. On first glance, it looked clean and tidy but as with everything in this hotel, it's the attention to detail. The shower couldn't hang on the wall, a simple problem which could be fixed in minutes but it wasn't done. There were no plugs for the sink or the bath. There were stains on the cushion covers and one plug socket was hanging out. The telephone for the room was broken, so not sure why it was even left there. The AC was like someone just blowing on me, non existent. The wall sockets (there are only two in a double room; crazy!), one was hanging out and one was well hidden under the bedside cupboard. The remote didn't work because it had no batteries. Just silly, simple things like the pictures on the wall at an angle and finally the safe not working. There was no information in the room about Wi-Fi, numbers to call for room service (the phone didn't work anyway), mealtimes; it was a quarantine hotel so food was included. There was a tired looking survey sheet in a brochure (with pictures of how the hotel used to look) and that was about it. There are no refreshments in the room, no bottled water, no kettle etc. I got out of the room straightaway to see my fiancé in the lobby (where most people hung out to get out of their rooms) to try and find out about meal times etc. The older gentleman was just frustrated and he didn't hide it. I did feel for the staff because it was clear that there was a lack of management and order and they had all just been collected together to quickly open the hotel for quarantine. What I can't understand is that during the pandemic, there would have been a number of opportunities for the place to have had a deep cleaning but they didn't do it. The place was filthy, the stairwells, the AC fan units, just awful. Food was explained, so mealtimes went from 7.30am - 10.30am, then 12.30pm - 4pm and finally 5.30pm - 10pm. To be honest, if you didn't get to the meal at the very start of these tim
