Love this little hotel very cute and cozy, I have a large dog and she loved it here as well we took long walks around the area very dog friendly here!

They tried to charge me a $7 fee to use my credit card for the deposit. Never have had that happen before. They wanted a cash deposit. Yeah right! They did eventually end up waiving the fee, but still…

Holes in the blanket. Bad WiFi. Television without function. No warm water in the shower. Never again

The price, I stay here often and they are always very kind and it is right in the village and almost next door to the train station.

Excellent sense of space and love not having any walls connected to potential ignorant noisy people during early late hours..got a good night sleep and staff is friendly/polite..great location

Walls and floors were in need of a cleaning. No-smoking rooms and have to stay away from the building to smoke but still have burn holes on both the bed spread 's. Shower looks great ,but would be nice if there was a little more than a few minutes of hot water.ive never stayed somewhere with little to no water pressure.

Roach and wanted to charge me extra for late check out. Very unreasonable, not great guest experience. Maid was nice.

You can hear the squeaky mattress springs and will find hairs on sheets and towels. Not the best obviously but can’t complain for the price just to spend the night.

The room had a terrible odour and black hair all over the bed. The only good thing is location.

Small, old time motel, close to beach, reasonable prices. Walkable to Carlsbad and Oceanside.

Staff requested a $100 deposit which is fine by me. However because I provided a credit card to secure this deposit she stated that I would only receive $93 back for my deposit. I told her that this was not nice to charge $7 just because I was using a credit card. Since when is a deposit a charge for just using a credit card?? Not fair. She would not allow me to speak to management to express my dissatisfaction
