Romantic Hotels in Cape Town

It was a bit unexpected. First of all, the best hotels in Cape Town are on the west side near the sea, and the city is a place that high-end tourists avoid. But when the prices of hotels near the sea became more and more outrageous, Taj came into my sights and I decided to stay there. Beyond expectations, the service is very good and the facilities are complete. The view of Table Mountain from the room is even more beautiful. And the surrounding area is actually very safe. On one side is the company garden where you can take a walk. On the other side is the pedestrian street selling many handmade arts. I give it five points. The only drawback: the swimming pool is too small, which is a bit funny. But the sauna is nice.

I took my sister on this trip to Capetown. Everything was awesome. The service was top tier, from the concierge assisting us with local places to explore , to the on sight restaurants. I’ll definitely come back in the future. I was just disappointed with the hair on the bathroom floor upon checking in. We also had to request robes & sleepers as opposed to finding them available in the room.

The location of the President Hotel is very good. It is the preferred hotel recommended by South African friends. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the beach. We booked the Ocean Classic Room (with balcony). There is no picture of this suite type on Ctrip. I have been worried that I can’t see the sea view. In addition, the big bed can be split into 2 single beds by the hotel. The hotel arranged us in rooms 647 and 648 (the highest 6 floors of the hotel), which are located in the northeast of the hotel. You can see both the sunrise and the sunset by the sea. It is really a super invincible sea view room. Since the two rooms are next to each other, there was a dinner party. The hotel does not provide toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers, you need to bring your own. The breakfast variety is very rich and there are quite a lot of choices. Most of the tourists in this hotel are European and American guests, and I didn't see many Asians. There are 2 large bottles of pure water (1L volume), coffee and tea bags in the room, among which black tea is a specialty of South Africa, you can try it. The hygienic condition of the hotel is OK, and the bathroom supplies are average. The hair dryer was in the drawer of the desk and I couldn't find it on the first day. The guest room is cleaned every day, and a tip of 2 dollars is prepared for the service staff every day, just put it on the bedside table. South Africa uses South African standard plugs, so remember to bring them with you when you go abroad. Alternatively, a 2-pin round plug can be used.

Amazing views and wonderful location. Service was good and the staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was top notch, will definitely come back to stay for the breakfast! Best breakfast hotel in South Africa!!

Upgraded to a Loft suite. Excellent (once the air conditioner unit was explained). Staff great. Housekeeping a bit too eager. On site restaurant Liberty's seems slow and disorganized, even for South Africa and especially for a Hilton's. Free shuttle to V&A Waterfront every two hours. Walking distance to the Old Biscuit Mill (a Saturday morning must-do). Regular and reliable taxi service around Cape Town at reasonable rates, for drop off and pickup. Airport shuttle. Neighborhood was very safe Don't pre-book tours before you get here; Yasir and his team will take good care of you.
