Shanu's Seaside Inn - A Guesthouse, 100 Metres to Candolim Beach

The owners are not very pleasant and do not offer any service. There is no food or drinks. At first I thought it would be a bucolic place to isolate since it has a little path that leads to the beach. At night I found out that it is not a safe place. Around 8:00 p.m. a group of men started drinking in front of my window (the windows do not have glass and the curtains are transparent) I was quite intimidated and did not leave the room and turned off the light. Around 11:00 p.m. they left and I breathed easy. At 2:00 in the morning they returned shouting and singing, they could play music. It felt like they were on the side. In fact they were right at my door. I wrote a message to the owner to ask them to go to their rooms. He didn't answer me. The next morning when I was going to the beach I met the owner and he told me that he wanted me to move to another room where it would be quieter. I told him that I was comfortable and that what I should talk to would be with the men who drank and partied. He insisted that I change rooms at that time. I went to pack my suitcase and you had to cancel my plans. The Neva room was on the second floor so at least no one could be yelling in front of my window. What was my surprise when when I got to my room in the afternoon I saw that I had two messages. The first one asked me to pay more money for the room. The second one threatened me saying that if I didn't pay more money I would have to immediately move to the old room. I told them to give me the money back, that I wanted to leave. They told me that they couldn't give it back to me because at that time they couldn't rent the room and the owner treated me very badly, accompanied by two men, she reproached me. I moved and do not recommend Shanu's to anyone.
