The location is perfect, right and one of the shopping streets where you can walk to a lot of the attractions. The hotel has 2 exits where one is open 24/7 where the reception is and where you can be dropped off by taxi. The other is on the shopping street, closing at 22.00 because it is also where the hotel restaurant Winestone is located. The restaurant has a good variety of food and very friendly and diligent staff which goes for the whole hotel. The breakfast is not served in the restaurant, but on the 2. floor. It has eggs, bacon, bread, cheese, ham, cereal, yoghurt, small pancakes, fruit, a little bit of vegetables. Could have liked the hot food to be hot, it was seldom the case. The room was nice with safety deposit box, coffee/tea, 1 bottle of water each day, mini bar and shampoo + shower gel and hair dryer. The room was cleaned spotless every day! The room becomes a bit hot and it helps to open the window. Right now there is construction going on, so you don't want the window open while they work. In the ground floor there is a fitness room with a good variety of equipment. The front desk staff is very helpful. We used the cleaning service for having some shirts ironed. That worked very well.

The hotel has an ideal location in the heart of the city, within a stone’s throw from the Danube and the famous pedestrian area of Váci Street, bustling with cafés, theatres and shops. The hotel features 110 guestrooms including 20 suites, 300 square meters of indoor meeting space, a serene spa, and a fully equipped fitness center. The restaurant, bar, and café are situated within the Párisi Passage, a former shopping arcade, under the splendor of the building’s colored glass ceiling and hexagonal cupolas, offering guests a truly unique place to socialize and relax. ÉTOILE, the hotel’s exclusive champagne bar is the place for lively conversations. Our sommelier will confidently guide guests through the exciting culture of the French bubbles.

I booked a Ctrip beggar’s version room and spent money to upgrade.
It is recommended to book a street view room with windows that can be opened.
The details of the room are pretty good. I forgot to take a photo. It’s the same as the picture online.
The service at the door is like this. After tipping, you will be replaced...
The front desk is quite helpful, but the quality of the doorman needs to be improved.
The restaurant is good and there is sparking wine freeflow for breakfast…

We are so grateful to Tamás Killarney and his wonderful front desk team for looking after us so well at the Hotel. He was incredibly helpful after we had a bad experience at an airbnb and we are so grateful for his help and professionalism. Gergely Gombos was also extremely helpful giving us information on everything - a real credit to the hotel. Thank you so much - two outstanding employees The meals were not very special otherwise we would have given 5 stars.

We loved our 5 night stay here, we opted for a 1 bedroom apartment. We were amazed at how big, clean and well equipped the apartment was (there were even a couple of laundry pods to do washing if you wished). The staff at reception were really welcoming and happy to help giving great advice. Location is fantastic as close to all the main sights with the metro, tram and bus stops at the top of the road. Close to some brilliant restaurants like Mozel Tof, Ghetto Goulash and Pork and Prezli (make sure you book) Really handy that the direct airport bus stop is just a 5 minute walk too. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if coming to Budapest.

The Florin hotel in Budapest was excellent as was the location. Area 6 is well located to the Jewish quarter and the bohemian area. The hotel is 10 min walk to St Stephen’s church. Trams stop right outside the hotel and main metro station is less than a 10 min walk. For over 65s public transport is free, but is cheap anyway and so easy to get about. Attila, Balint and Lori at reception were great ambassadors for Budapest and the hotel - helpful and friendly. The rooms spacious with a little kitchenette and good bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Excellent team of staff, very friendly and helpful!
Especially Mr. Zsolt Palasthy! Really appreciate his help and recommendations!
When the TV was not working, I called the receptionist. The technician came almost immediately to address the issues!
Bed was super comfortable and firm!
We tried both the Finnish and infrared sauna, very nice!
Breakfast was delicious, good variety and quality!
Will definitely go back to this hotel next time we visit Budapest again!

We had a reasonably sized 1 bed appt. From other reviews I was worried about noise and bad behaviour of groups of tourists but this is a block of 90 apartments and only 24 are tourist rentals. Others include a number of people with the title ”Dr” so they are not riffraff, if you know what I mean. Our stay so far has been very quiet. Almost no noise from inside the block. It's the centre of a city so there is road noise etc but the windows are triple glazed so keep the noise out very well. Lift and corridors are all v bright and well cleaned. The area is touristy to some extent with loads of good value eating places including a very popular Hungarian restaurant where you need to book called Getto Gulyas. The area as a whole used to be the Jewish ghetto so the huge synagogue is close by but that meant that the are as a whole is quite run down in appearance. I think that makes it a much more interesting feel than some of the more renovated areas. This apartment block is new enough that it's not shown on Google satellite. Apartment was very clean and well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. Everything you need for cooking on holiday. Furnished exclusively from Ikea by the looks of it but it felt new and not worn out. Bed is comfortable and on the firm side. So far the is absolutely nothing of any significance wrong with the apartment. Maybe we have been lucky by not being near a stag party. But we've only seen one about town in our stay so far. From our experience we would recommend.

The room was spacious and the service was first-class. I didn't let me wait for the check-in immediately. It was very good. The location of the hotel is excellent, the facilities are complete, the breakfast buffet is also very rich, I should choose to stay next time.

We had an amazing time at UP hotel Budapest. Staff are polite and professional, our room and the hotel were clean, breakfast were good selections of foods and drinks and dinner at the restaurant were excellent. They don’t have kid’s menu so they provided pasta based on my child’s request. My child really enjoyed eating them.I definitely recommend UP hotel Budapest and would like to go back one day.

The Blaha Lujza underground station is a short walk away and Budapest Airport can be reached by car in 30 minutes. The building spans seven floors filled with 185 rooms, where tea and coffee facilities, large flat-screen TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi come as standard. A range of rooms and suites are available with sweeping views over the city. Guests can choose from the hotel’s two restaurants, the New York Café and the Salon Restaurant or a bar menu at the Nyugat Bar. The hotel’s spa and gym offer guests the chance to relax and rejuvenate away from the city.

The lobby is just fabulous and the Cafe de Paris, which is attached to, but not owned by (as I understand it) the hotel is totally amazing. Wonderful marble lobby, friendly and very efficient front desk/concierge staff and the rooms are good, but not exceptional. For sightseeing the location is not the best - there are no good restaurants around and about and the food on the hotel’s balcony overlooking the Cafe de Paris is boring and very expensive - as is the wine, and drinks in the lobby. We would recommend the hotel highly to friends but point out that the location is not the best for sightseeing - that said there is a Hop on, Hop off bus stop right outside the door.

GGuest UserOne of the best stay I ever had. The hotel has a fantastic atmosphere, the breakfast it's really good and has a great variety of food, the attendant's team is almost perfect, expect for the bar in the evening, the rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need. I found a very nice surprise for woman, beside the hair dryer there was an hair straightener. Very hepfull! The SPA was clean and excellent atmpsphere. I foundall service I would like to have. We didn't try the restaurant, but I saw people dining when in Budapest all the restaurants don't accept you anymore. I really felt cluddled!
GGuest UserThere are some great things about this hotel and there are some bad things about this hotel. The staff is EXCELLENT and they have a GREAT pool area. The breakfast is great and the location is perfect!!! The bad thing was that the hotel did not have an AC . I admit it was winter but no AC so I was a bit hot. You have to open the window to make the room cool down. I got a deluxe room but the view not nice. I got to stare at some steel chimneys with a slight view in the far distance of the main cathedral. The carpets were also kind of dirty and I think the hotel should have someone look at the room before giving them to clients. They need to do a better job of cleaning the floors and the carpets. I would stay there again but drop them a note and tell them to look at the room before giving it to me. Another to be aware of this is an ADULTS ONLY hotel. I like kids but I like having adults only too. The hotel has a good vibe and aI had a good time there. The hotel just needs to work on refining their cleaning practices!!! Great pool!! I was pleased except to for the carpet dust. I will say that when I complained about it was fixed the next day!!!
GGuest UserThis was our first time in Budapest and this hotel was the perfect location, just a block from St. Stephens Basilica and walking distance to everything. It was sparkling clean, had friendly staff and was everything we needed at an affordable price. We paid the extra small fee for the breakfast which was an easy way to start the day.
GGuest UserLarge room, large shower but the water had probably a lot of limestone and other irritants so much that my girlfriend and I became blond at the end of the holiday, and I suggest to male available some eye drops because the eyes after the shower immediately became very reddened and swollen, as an Italian I really appreciated the presence of the bidet, lack of privacy because we had two windows that didn't even close completely and we had only one transparent white curtain available, and that was a passage area and everyone could see us inside. We thank the honesty of those who welcomed us and warned about the possibility of receiving unexpected visits: ”thieves and clochards” and for safety they also wrote it inside the room, just right on the wall indicating the exact point from which they would enter. Good luck!
GGuest UserThe airport shuttle bus 100E drops only a few minutes walk away from the hostel. (30mins travel) Very useful. There is a socket and reading light next to each bed and I had a change of bedding on my second day. I feel that this is due to there being no bed bookings and you choose your own, so they don't know which bed is still in use. There's a danger you may lose your bed if you don't leave things on it. There was a shared bathroom with a toilet in it and a locker provided in the room too. I brought my own towel as this was not provided. There is shower gel provided in the shower. A really central hostel, though they're is a hub of bars directly opposite, so they're is a lot of noise until very late which means I had disrupted sleep both nights. Plenty of takeaway places close for quick bites to eat and lots of café spots close too. This hostel is also very close to get to the main sights and starts of walking tours also if you'd be doing this too.
SSZUCHIEHNo kettle and refrigerator. It is close to the station and the tourist area, and the subway station is at the door, which is convenient for travel. But the room facilities are relatively simple. It is the third floor in a building, and the elevator is relatively old. But the price is really reasonable, and one night stay is ok
GGuest UserThe room I had at the hotel was good value for money and clean. It was also very quiet at night time and, after a day out walking and seeing the sights of the old city, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax. There are buses just around the corner that link to the city centre, and the nearest Metro is not far. The shuttle service the hotel uses is very reliable. The hotel staff will either book up a transfer with them beforehand or customers can do it themselves from an easily located desk at the airport. I found the wi-fi in the room was quite fast and always usable.
YYanxiawanzhaoBecause of the price, this house is still relatively cost-effective and can cook. Wifi will not be used at the beginning, and it will be used correctly and the speed will be very fast. We are here to travel, the house is located in the bustling seventh district, convenient for travel.
GGuest UserI am coming from Canada. I'm extremely frustrated with the hotel and feel compelled to share my experience. The hotel consists of three buildings, none of which are any better than the others. The entrance is dark and the connections between the buildings feel like a maze of catacombs. It's a complete nightmare trying to find your room. Now let's talk about the rooms. They are downright filthy, and don't even think about finding any electrical appliances. Each room supposedly has a minimum of three single beds, but forget about any comfort because there are no pillow tops provided. Can you believe it? To make matters worse, we were completely tricked by that Turkish Holiday Website, ”tatilbudur.com.” They led us to this horrendous place that is worse than any hostel I've ever stayed in. I'm beyond disappointed with this hotel. The lack of cleanliness, basic amenities, and the overall experience is simply unacceptable. They need to seriously step up their game and make significant improvements.
