Everything about the hotel was wonderful except the location. The rooms are giant, very comfortable bed, the breakfast was delicious and a mix of western and Chinese, the hot spring was very relaxing. (Some features of the hot springs were closed). The downside is that it’s 90 minutes from the city center, 90 minutes from Capital airport, and 30 minutes north of the Great Wall. If you want a quiet and relaxing getaway that is away from the Beijing crowds, and closer to the Great Wall, then this hotel is perfect. Perfect for families with children.

I have stayed at Crowne Plaza Beijing Badaling many times and the experience was great. Since we arrived early, the front desk lady took the initiative to help adjust the room type and arrange check-in to reduce waiting.
