Hotels near Museu Africa Daniel Comboni in Barcelona

The hotel is excellent, with few negative points (see below). It is new, modern and functional. The location is not so central for tourists, and the metro is about 10 minutes walk. I recommend the hotel. Possible points: - large, new, modern and well-equipped room; - large and functional bathroom; - hairdryers; - bed linen with quality fabric; - very good breakfast; - no carpet, and yes wood floor (more hygienic and less allergenic); - good air conditioning control; - careful staff, both breakfast and reception. Points to be improved: - the wi-fi signal is unstable and slow, falling all hours; - the hygienic paper could be of better quality; - the sticks of the larger sticks do not cover the sides (be open), leaving the inner part exposed, which is not very hygienic there, since only the fence is exchanged for each new guest (and not the internal part); - the free toilet items, including body hydrant, are missing, which is always useful when you are in Europe; - they could leave bottles of free water in the room (or in the reception space), as other hotels in this category are currently doing.

We stayed in one of the triple rooms on 7/F. The room is clean and simple. All the staff in the reception are friendly and nice. We checked up in the morning on the last day and have our lugguages kept at the concierge until 4pm. Location is good too. The only downside is that there was no kettle or coffee machine in the room. We can only get tea and coffee from the machine on the ground floor.

Stayed here at the end of August for 5 nights. Hotel is in a brilliant location. 10 minute walk to Sagrada Familia also a 2 minute walk from the hop on hop off buses around the city. The staff on reception were very friendly and welcoming and very helpful. I left my Apple Watch in the hotel and only realised when I had got through security at the airport. I rang the hotel and they found my watch in the room and helped me return it to myself which I am very grateful for. The room was cleaned every day while we were out. For the cost of the hotel, the location, cleanliness and hospitality was top notch. If I ever visit Barcelona again I would be sure to stop here any time.

The hotel is away from the city centre but it is easily accessible by metro. Staff at check-in and breakfast are friendly. We had a triple room, it consists of a double bed and a sofa bed in a separate area. The first night, there were no bed sheets provided for the sofa bed. We went down to the front desk and sheets were delivered to our room promptly. The next day, housekeeping provided a proper blanket and towels for the sofa bed, which is good. I recommend that they should provide these on the first night for triple rooms though. Our room has a jetted tub, but it never worked in the 5 nights we stayed. Other than this, our stay was good. The room has modern decor and a balcony. Breakfast is great with a lot of options: different types of bread with tomato paste and olive oil to add, scrambled egg, sausages, fresh fruits, yogurt, veggies, coffee, tea and juice. Breakfast staff did an excellent job in keeping all the items refilled very quickly.

Good location near the airport, despite BCN's awful public transport. It's a nice, cheap place to stay if you need to be near the airport for an early flight and don't mind staying in a hostel bunk. I only stayed one night and didn't explore the area much, but it seems there's plenty around to do if you're staying a bit longer than I did.

We spent a week in this hotel and were very satisfied. You have to know that the hotel is located in an office area. There is nothing around it! The nearest shop to buy anything is about 1.2km away. The nearest train station is 800m away and there is a small bar/restaurant right next to the hotel, but it is closed at weekends. We were satisfied with the room, the breakfast, the service and the internet. The small bar next door invites you for a drink or a meal. Only the room cleaning could be a bit better. But basically the room was clean.

I booked this hostel for 2 nights, but I ended up extending twice (stayed for 5 nights). I had such a great time. When I arrived one of the staff memebers, Daves, showed me around en brought me to the room. He was very welcoming and I had a great talk with him. There were not many people at the hostel at this point, but Davis arranged for me to go to a bar with the people staying in the Sant Jordi Rock Palace hostel. I got the number of Martin, the animator from Rock Palace Hostel and went to the hostel to go to the bar with hem. Martin was also very welcoming and arranged free shots for us. The day after I met more people and made great friends. On Thursday we went to Pache, a big club, with around 40 people from both hostels. Usually you have to pay an entrance fee to enter Pacha, but we got in for free because we stayed in Sant Jordi. Martin an Bruno arranged everything for us. It was great and I felt safe! The whole hostel gets cleaned every day, including the kitchen where you can make a meal yourself. The only downside for me was that there were no windows in the common room and kitchen. Didn't bother me that much tho, since you can always go sit on the roof terrace outside! The entire staff of Sant Jordi Sagrada Familia is absolutely amazing! Everybody is so nice and nothing is too much to ask! It was no problem to extend my stay twice and they didn't make a fuss about me being late for check-out (20 min late). I even extended in the middle of the night once. They have a 24h reception. Badr was doing the night shifts, but he was always so happy! Absolutely loved him! It was also easy to be moved to the dorm where the people I had met where sleeping. The staff is also always asking your night/day was! Thanks for the amazing stay! Will definitely come back to this hostel when I stay in Barcelona again. Ps. the couch is amazing :)

Considering: - parking is insufficient, a normal car needs 2 places to fit and open the doors - the pool is small, people can 1/2 if you want to respect social distance - the wifi has constant falls, who prevent teleworking under conditions - the price to bring the animal is €10/day, but require you to sign a contract that prevents you from leaving it alone on the floor - the apartment has no washing machine (except if they have any available, The hotel is very comfortable and is very comfortable and is very comfortable. But in the location you have and with your clear shortcomings, it is not worth more than €60/night.

On the last day of my trip I stayed at this hotel (since it’s close to airport. ) But I’d rather spent my last day in the city centre’s hotel if I could choose it again. The hotel provides free drinks in the lobby which I would give it a point. However, the lift buttons are kinda strange and it’s small. The room is small as well. The price is equal the hotel facilities/environment/service. Overall, the hotel is fine.

We arrived just after check-in time to find only two working at their reception desk. Each with guests and one ahead of us in line. We waited patiently for around 10 minutes as they slowly managed to complete the check in of one. In that time the line had grown with 8 more guests waiting behind me to check in as well. I was next to check in, or thought I was, but an additional check in person stepped up to another station to help. But instead of asking for the next one he just helped an impatient guest waiting off to the side instead, making me wait almost 20 minutes just to check in. And beyond just changing you for the room they take a deposit, which I never had happen to me before. I have had hotels put credit cards on file but not actual deposits on top of the room charge. After we got to the room, had a lovely view but the windows were very dirty and couldn’t even take good pictures from it. Then after getting back from going out and about we found the phone and tv were dead. So no room service available or entertainment in our room . I went down to the front desk and asked about it and they said the whole building was out and there was nothing they could do. After we went to bed we were awoken by a maintenance man at 12:30 at night asking to fix our tv. I told him we were sleeping. I was so upset they would even think to send someone at that time of night, when I didn’t even ask them to come, I could hardly sleep after that. I went to the front desk the next morning to ask them about resending the maintenance man back to the room while we were out but they explained the whole building phone and tv was still out. I then asked why they would send someone to fix our tv in the middle of the night. They had no explanation. As of our last night here still no tv, phone, or room service. They have no estimate on when it might come back. For what I thought was a higher end hotel their customer service is lacking and maintenance of their building sub-standard.
