Arcelon Hotel

The elevator in this place is the slowest I've ever seen. There are no convenience stores nearby, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the hotel from the L1 subway station. The street is pretty deserted, which feels a bit unsafe. Also, the bed is super, super soft, so if you don't like that, beware. They claim to have a swimming pool, but it's tiny, just a narrow pool about 20 meters long. The front desk staff were also quite cold and unhelpful.

It's great that the hotel has a water dispenser for self-service refills. The room was neat and clean, and even the shower gel in the bathroom was a stylish Tous brand, which added a touch of class. The hotel's location is also quite good.

There's a bus stop nearby, making it super convenient to get to the city center, and it's easy to hail a taxi too. The air conditioning in the room works great, and there's even a mini-fridge. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.

Back in Barcelona, I chose this hotel again without hesitation. There are tons of restaurants and cafes nearby, a large shopping center is just a 10-minute walk away, and Sagrada Familia is a 20-minute walk. The surrounding area is residential and feels very safe, even at night. The only minor issue is that housekeeping always seems to come during my nap time, and you have to ask for slippers at the front desk.

The hotel boasts a minimalist, modern design with a clean, sophisticated aesthetic, free from clutter, creating a perfect ambiance. The rooms are spotless, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. The hotel's location is convenient, the rooms are clean, and the bedding is soft. The front desk service is good. Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy, but overall, the facilities are new, and the value for money is decent.
