I had such a restorative stay at Amarta and hope to be able to return there again some day. I stayed in an Ocean Jacuzzi Suite which are located above the restaurant. I loved being able to lounge around on the veranda. There was a very comfortable day bed and the jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi functions more as a small pool as there isn't enough hot water to fill it. It takes over an hour to fill so I was happy to leave it full over a few days. One thing to note for these rooms is that at night, the silhouette of people showering is visible through the frosted glass from people below. I didn't leave the resort for the 5 nights I stayed there and enjoyed the food from the restaurant for meals either in the restaurant or in my room. The breakfasts were very generous and delicious. I enjoyed a massage at the spa. The sunsets each night are stunning.

Living in Alila, compared to Suli will be better. The only disadvantage is that the distance is a bit remote, but there are not many tourists, and the accommodation experience is very good. The service attitude is very good, the scenery is beautiful, and there are no shortcomings except for the location.

It’s our first visit to WakaGangga and the villa with pool garden view certainly did not disappoint. Warm hospitality was extended to us from the reception to the restaurant staff and even extending to the housekeeping department throughout our one night stay. They were extremely accommodating to our every request. A late check out surprise till 6pm was even offered to us without we asking and at no charges. Bottles of drinking water were also given readily and sent to us swiftly. Everyone at the villa is committed to making our stay a truly memorable one. And it truly is as it’s a belated birthday present given by my brother! A little suggestion would be delightful if more food selection are included at the restaurant. Thank you to all the team at WakaGangga and we will definitely come back again. Well done!

This resort has great potential, but lacks managerial oversight. From my initial communications with them to my last airport transfer booking, I experienced issues with communication.
Initially I had wanted to book a yoga retreat, but didn't get any kind of response for a few weeks. Eventually I found a phone number that I could use for WhatsApp, but then they wouldn't upgrade my reservation. Which in hindsight is just as well, as I was able to attend the amazing yoga classes, but had the freedom to go elsewhere for meals, spa treatments and activities. None of the aforementioned were particularly stellar at De Moksha, with the activities such as tours being of rather questionable quality.
The best thing about De Moksha is the yoga teachers - they are each special in their own way, and attending classes was the highlight of my trip.
The villa's don't look quite as in the photo's - the ”luxury” accommodation is in need of an update. Cleanliness could also be improved - the bathroom was never really clean, nor was the patio. Amenities are great - toiletries are eco friendly, and coffee and tea replenished daily. But overall the accommodation was just a little tired, as were the spa facilities. The swimming pools are lovely though, as are the yoga shalas.
As the rate I paid for the accommodation was quite reasonable, I am happy to accept the standards at De Moksha. However, the poor guest communication means that I will not recommend this resort for anything but their yoga. There were constant issues with miscommunication, including being asked to pay bills twice, and ever-more expensive quotations for the same airport transfer. No apologies were offered, and I was informed that I couldn't speak to a manager, as it was outside office hours. However, over the next 2 days there was still no response from management. As a manager I would have liked to hear these comments first-hand rather than reading them in a review. I would suggest some form of satisfaction survey, so that management keeps abreast of clients' experiences. They don't seem to be out and about in the resort.
In conclusion I would highly recommend the yoga classes, but would advise to stay elsewhere unless you find a really good offer on De Moksha's accommodation.

A beautiful gem in the middle of almost nowhere, the tented “villagio” is located on the beach reached via a road that is quite bumpy and unpaved at times. The greenery is beautifully cared for within the glamping area, and some tents overlook the nearby rice fields. Everything was very neat and clean, the large and helpful staff always said hello and many of them speak very good English compared to the level found at other resorts. The restaurant is quite good even if some dishes tried were not very tasty although all always very well presented, in general the prices seemed to me a little high compared to what we have seen in other resorts of the same level which I find a bit incorrect not having other external alternatives easily accessible. Even the SPA has a bit high prices in my opinion, we tried the 2.5h couple Journey (about €70 discounted) although pleasant, it didn't drive us ”crazy”.
The strong point for us, in addition to the very nice, clean and equipped tent and in our case near the ocean was for us the buffet breakfast (not very common in Bali) with a great variety of fresh food, fruit, and a chef for egg dishes upon request.
Surely even the sunset from the pool was a wonderful sight. The beach, although all in all clean and pretty, does not allow bathing due to usually high waves.
We did not appreciate the organization of noisy events on the 17th morning (from 9:30) when it was not yet check-out time and therefore we were entitled to enjoy the morning in peace and relaxation, which is not possible given the high-octane celebrations/games volume I believe related to independence day.

Very beautiful, elegant and clean hotel with super nice staff. There are free yoga and meditation class. Also, they have free bicycle tour to chase the sunset and to Tanah Lot. Although it's very tiring, it is still a very memorable experience.
We have breakfast and dinner here, food are great and the staff were nice and caring.

Amazing experience, place is unique and magnificent, stuff are very kind especially Priska.
Food is food and prove reasonable.
One more doubt , if you are a person who don’t like the noise and nature sound , it’s a place in the middle of the jungle so you need to think twice .
The privet pool is good but I think the resort need to cover it more because some places are clear and the neighbors can easily sneak.
Overall, great experience

This is a beautiful place in easy walking distance of Tanah Lot temple. The rooms are cute little wooden bungalows scattered around in a lush garden environment. The pool is beautiful and makes a great place to cool off during the day while you wait for sunset. The staff is very attentive and the food is delicious. Check the tide tables and go see the temple at low tide when you can get up close and get pictures from interesting angles.

Outstanding
YYang Xun, GailLocation is a little far out but that contributes to the idyllic charm of the hotel. Everything was fantastic and all the staff extremely polite and friendly.
We were especially impressed that the restaurant staff assiduously recorded our dietary needs to make sure we were covered for the entire stay. Major props to the restaurant for the range of interesting vegetarian options available and the great cocktails!
Room cleaning twice a day is also amazing at a time when many hotels are cutting back to once every 2-3 days. The Black Sands spa lives up to its reviews and the massage and bath were incredibly relaxing.
We truly enjoyed our little slice of paradise and it was a perfect weekend getaway!
GGuest UserThe most thoughtful hotel I've ever been! It's my 6th time in Bali. Front desk was helpful to book the best third party providers for our Nusa Penida tour to our airport pickup. Hotel complimentary are fun - we did sunrise yoga, aqua yoga, even a photoshoot. We paid for the spa (the MOST deeply relaxing massage - we tried the hot stone massage and maya special massage) and it was leaps and bounds BETTER than the one down the beach at the nest which was already highly raved online. We also booked the Indonesian cooking class - amazing food and recipes and location on roof top. Room is amazing as well, with extremely helpful amenities like a clothing line in bathroom & a huge space next to the tub for fuss free bubble bath relaxation. Also, there's milk bath service for our in-room tub. Amazing. Already recommended to friends and family & we will 100% be back!
DDanielleIt was amazing! The location is perfect, very close to airport, the service and breakfast is amazing.
Very friendly staff.
The room is a dream, the private pools are calm and cosy.
JJoshuaRSANew hotel with lots of friendly and eager to assist staff. Their kindness makes you feel welcomed and their readiness to serve you at every moment truly makes it feel like you’re on holiday. The rooms and facilities are clean, beautiful pool and water fountain. Great spa to get a massage at and breakfast was good. Shuttle service that runs to and from Ubud Centre (only selected times, so make sure you know the schedule).
Although I gave them a 5/5, the are still things I think that they can improve on.
1. Housekeeping is quite slow, I stayed at the pool one day and had lunch at the restaurant, after 3 hours I returned to my room and it still wasn’t touched by housekeeping. I also waited longer on the day of my check-in to get to my room. Although I arrived early and was patient and understanding to wait until my room was ready at 14:00 I still ended up waiting another 30mins to get to my room. This was a little annoying as they already knew I was waiting a long time and feel like they could’ve somehow speeded up the service. I understand they have their cleaning standards, especially for a new check-in. Maybe they need to employ more housekeepers to fulfil the hotel’s requirements.
2. On the day of my arrival the pool wasn’t open due to bad weather days prior to my check-in, which I totally understand and grateful they tend to the pool so well. I was however offered 20% discount on the Spa, outdoor activities etc. through a paper that was placed on my bed after I got into my room. However this coupon wasn’t explained to me and when I tried to use it two days later for a massage I was told it was only valid for the day the pool was out of service.
3. Breakfast - I understand it’s a smaller hotel and I appreciate any hotel that tries to contribute to the environment by limiting food waste by only serving certain about of dishes, however a better variety would have been appreciated, especially for guests that stays for a couple of nights. With that the buffet breakfast only came with a Balinese Coffee or Tea. This was not explained before booking the room and this information wasn’t given by Trip.com. It does however say the buffet breakfast comes with coffee or tea. But like many many other hotels I’ve stayed at and mentioned that the buffet breakfast comes with coffee or tea it usually means that there is a variety of coffee or teas available. And wanting a cappuccino or iced latte for breakfast would cost you extra.
4. The restaurant, drink usually came not as cold as one would expect it to be. I ordered an ice tea and it was more of a lukewarm tea. The beer they served was also not very cold and quite disappointing especially when it’s so hot and all you want is something ice cold.
5. The hotel entrance is a bit difficult to find, management can think of a better way to showcase the entrance/name of the hotel.
Overall I enjoyed the stay, it close enough to walk to Ubud Centre (about 15min walk) If you’re up to it. It’s beautiful, clean and a little peace of paradise.
Some services however need more attention to details.

Whether you're lounging by the pool, indulging in a spa treatment, or exploring the beautiful island, Hilton Bali Resort delivers an unforgettable experience.
SSaowaluck PrommetDuring my stay at the hotel from July 14th to July 18th, I encountered several issues that I wish to bring to your attention:
Upon my arrival on July 14th, I had booked a room with a King bed, but upon arrival, I discovered that my room had a twin bed configuration instead. After requesting a change and mentioning that I am a ”Diamond Member,” the room was switched to a King bed within 10 minutes. However, there were no welcome amenities set up in the room.
On July 15th, I called reception (dialling ”0”) to inquire about breakfast and requested to invite my friend as part of my membership benefits. The receptionist took some time to check and later informed me that if my friend joined me, there would be an additional charge due to hotel policy regarding a third person. I was surprised that the receptionist was not aware that I was staying alone.
Throughout my stay, turndown amenities were never set up, which was disappointing as a ”Diamond” member. It seemed that the hotel overlooked this aspect of service.
On the day of my departure July 18th, which also happened to be my birthday, no one acknowledged this special occasion. During breakfast with my friend, I observed another guest receiving birthday wishes and a cake from the restaurant staff. When my friend informed the staff that it was also my birthday, it took another 10 minutes for a birthday cake to be brought to my table with a birthday song.
Overall, while the hotel's public areas were well-maintained and had a pleasant ambience, the service experience fell short of expectations. I believe there is room for improvement, particularly in ensuring that the service matches the level expected by loyal members like myself. Staff were generally kind and polite, but attention to detail and proactive guest recognition could be enhanced.
Thank you for your attention to these matters. I trust that my feedback will contribute to improving future guest experiences at your establishment.
GGuest UserVery disappointed stay! Stayed in October 2022 loved it loved everything. This stay we were not told about the breakfast not being buffet style well at least being dramatically downsized and put out the front at Papas Beach Cafe. The selections were bland and mostly asian style nothing like it was in October and that was why we rebooked! The pool deck is a accident waiting to happen very very dangerous. My daughter room key was re programmed at least 20 time is 6 days very very frustrating with 3 little boys in tow to have to go from 1 end of the property to the other to report it. On the good side the staff are amazing so friendly welcoming and 10/10 to the chef at Papa's cafe for inviting the 3 boys into the kitchen to make and prepare and serve the best Pizza's I have ever eaten. The Alam KulKul is in a great position and the staff are worth staying for but quite a bit needs to be done to make it great
GGuest UserAmazing hotel 1 the best in Kuta when it comes to the location, standards and keeping the resort clean and in perfect condition. Rare in Bali! the rooms are extremely comfortable, with full amenities and extremely well maintained. Beautiful Balinese style with high end products, similar standards with any international Hotels. Amazing pool size middle of a beautiful landscape, just hard to believe you are at the heart of Kuta. Breakfast is one of the best around Kuta too. So much choice to accommodate large nationalities, from Balinese, Indian, asia, continental, international etc… The staff is just amazing, extremely friendly and efficient. Nothing is perfect in life and things can happened! just address it to the front office and in the next 5 minutes someone will fix your issues, including technical issues you could have in your room. Ayu at the front office is a gem! what an asset to the Ramayana. She is so efficient and professional. Same with Endra at the Gabbah restaurant - what an amazing waiter! kindness and so professional with perfect English skills…. just another amazing asset to the Ramayana. The Resort manager is new and what a difference since he joined the Ramayana - he is everywhere, extremely friendly and really manage the property extremely well. My only negative comment will be the pool water temperature - too cold , the water should be heated same as any 5 starts hotel . Many guests were saying the same things…. pool water temperature should be warmer. Nevertheless it is my favorite hotel in Kuta 15 minutes away from the Airport in front of Kuta Beach….
GGuest UserWe have just completed a magical 10 days at Wyndham Jivva Beach. We are long term Wyndham members (owners) and have stayed at many of their hotels and resorts. Jivva Beach rates at the top of the list for us. It's just far North East of Denpasar to be out of the rat race but still within easy reach of Sanur and other tourist attractions. Apart from its idyllic setting, the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. A special mention to the head chef Gusti who has a wealth of experience at 5 star international hotels. His leadership ensured a high level of cuisine at every meal. And Wijaya, the food and beverage manager led a team of wait staff which would be hard to beat anywhere. There are no shops close by, but we booked half day tours using local drivers at very reasonable prices (IDR 600,000 for 5 hours), so we were able to visit many local attractions. We also took the ferry to the island of Penida across the Badung Strait ~ well worth the time to do this. We were surprised that the beach (which is very close), is made of black sand ~ not a problem for us, but maybe for some. In essence, we love Wyndham Jivva and intend to visit again in 2024.
GGuest UserWe stayed in this guesthouse for a week. We were looking for a quiet place to sleep, far from the chaos of Ubud, the bet is held. It's really isolated, in the middle of the rice fields. The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. They are always there for you and if you have a question or request, they will go out of their way to answer it right away. The room is large and very clean. We asked for an upstairs room and got it. The bed is firm but comfortable. The rooms all have a terrace where you can eat, have breakfast or simply relax. The included breakfast is very simple (choice between omelet and pancakes, fruit juice, and fruit), but sufficient. You can pay extra for extras. There is no restaurant or bar in this guest house, so you will either have to go to the hotel not far away or order your food on Grab/Gojek. We opted for this second option, and it went very well, a huge choice, delivery in less than an hour if you order from a restaurant in Ubud. The staff can also take an order and your money and go 2/3 shopping for you for drinks displayed on the minibar. Every day they gave us a bottle of water each for free. The pool is nice and clean. The air conditioning is very efficient, sometimes even too much! It has to be settled. Sometimes we just ended up cutting it off. You won't be hot. Now, the negative points, because a good opinion must also mention the points to improve: Daylight which passes very easily, the curtains are not very glued to the window so from 5 am we began to have light. It's true that we Europeans are used to sleeping in the dark. In the room there was also a pipe noise, quite sharp, when people were using the water, whether it was us or neighbours. I don't know what it is, maybe a pump, pipes... I don't know if the problem is common to all rooms. Since I'm sensitive enough to noise to sleep, I opted for earplugs, problem solved. Count 3 to 5 euros one way to get around town by ordering a ride on Grab/Gojek. We had the reservation at a very good price because booked early and before the lifting of health restrictions, so we will say that we are very satisfied with our choice. I hope they will improve the two points mentioned above because those were the two things that bothered me.
