I really want you guys to discover this place as it is a gem! We stayed 2 nights there and I highly recommend 1) It is located not far from Crystal Beach, which is super convenient 2) It is in the middle of the forest so you will not hear any noise other than nature (birds, geckos, insects) 3) It is on a hill with a direct sea view and you have exceptional sunset moments by the pool (look at the picture) 4) The garden is beautiful, the bungalows are beautiful, the infinity pool is new and wonderful 5) Gary is the best host I have met. Super kind and caring with its guests. We loooved the banana pancakes cooked for breakfirst as well as the fresh juices. Very helpful also for all transportation arrangements. 6) It is a family-run business, the land belongs to their family and Gary is doing his best to turn it into a top eco hotel. He is everyday trying to make this place better (construction of an infinity pool, he also wants to add a terrace with a view). So it is always a pleasure to go and support places like this one 7) Warning: to fully appreciate this place, you must not be scared of nature and be a bit used to it. It is a natural place so you will encounter geckos, ants, spiders, mosquitos… You also sleep in bungalows so you will hear insects and geckos at night and maybe encounter a few but you have a mosquito net on the bed so no problem. I come from the city and I survived and enjoyed so anyone can I guess haha That’s it, again thank you for the stay Gary and I wish you the best!

Jimbaran
e stayed for four nights from 29th August - 2nd Sept. We arrived early, but the host Andrea was happy for us to check in despite our early arrival! For the first night we stayed in the one bed villa, but the air conditioning wasn't working, so Andrea offered to move us to another villa, which we gratefully accepted! We loved our stay here. Both villas were very clean, including the pools, and the housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfasts were fresh and tasty, consisting of tea/coffee, fresh fruits, lovely breads, home made jams, and omelette. Despite not feeling well, Andrea was a welcoming, gracious host, who would try to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. She arranged for our laundry to be done (the price was very reasonable too) and a taxi to take us to the airport on departure. Loved the location of the villa, tucked down a little side street, near a school, and a short walk to Jimbaran beach. It all felt very safe. I would recommend guests to take a torch with them when they come and go at night. A great way to end our holiday.

The hotel is located on the 8th road from the center of Ubud. It is surrounded by rice fields. There is a small swimming pool and a dozen rooms. There are not many people. The service is very good. The breakfast is good one day in advance and the morning is delivered directly to the room.

Lovina
it was the second time i stayed at Rini, the first time was 10 years ago,so this september, when i revisited Bali, i decided to stay at Rini again, cuz the first time i stayed here,i dont have TP account, cant rate it.when arrived,i had their airport pick up,the hotel said i can stop at few attractive spots on the way before drop off,but there’s a long queue at the immigration counter.i took around one hour to go out of the airport,i just stopped for buying sim card at a phone store near kapal village only.when checked in, the lady at the counter helped me, she is friendly and helpful,i booked dolphins tour from her, which cost rp100,000 per person.the two male staffs i met were helpful also, one wake me up in the early morning for the dolphins tour, another one help me to get transport when i needed a one day tour after dolphins tour. the room i stayed is huge and clean, i think they just have renovation. the bathroom looks a bit old,but quite clean. be noted that they dont provide toiletries, they provide towel, toilet paper only. that time i stayed, not many tourists, i had a quiet stay.but dont worry, cuz the place is big,if many tourists, still can have very quiet stay here. i had breakfast at their restaurant twice.i had nasi goreng, banana pancake, fruits platter, also coffee and tea.the food is tasty.the location is great, close to the famous dolphins statue or lovina beach.there are many eateries around ,very convenient. there is a small pool beside the restaurant, but found no time to use it.i hope next time will stay here longer, more time to relax. recommend Rini to those who want a quiet stay in Lovina, and the price is competitive!

Bali Pet-friendly Hotel Guide

Introduction to Bali

Bali, an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, and stunning beaches, is the country's most famous tourist destination. Filled with ancient temples, rich arts and crafts, and a vibrant nightlife, Bali offers a kaleidoscopic blend of natural beauty and cultural depth.

Tips for Travelling to Bali

Bali's main international gateway is Ngurah Rai International Airport, located near the capital city, Denpasar. Travelers can explore Bali through taxis, local buses, bicycles, motorbikes, or even hired cars.

The official currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Most hotels and restaurants accept credit cards, but having some cash on hand for local markets and smaller venues is recommended. Indonesian is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas.

As for visas, many nationalities can enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days, but it's best to check before your journey.

Popular Attractions in Bali

Bali offers a wealth of cultural and natural attractions. Explore the ancient temples of Tanah Lot and Uluwatu, or immerse yourself in the artistic heritage of Ubud, Bali's cultural heart. Visit the Tegalalang Rice Terraces and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary for unique experiences.

Bali's beaches are equally enticing, with Kuta Beach, Seminyak Beach, and Nusa Dua Beach offering vibrant beach life. Surfing enthusiasts will love the waves at Uluwatu and Canggu.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Bali enjoys a tropical climate with temperatures fairly consistent year-round. The best times to visit are during the dry season, from April to October. Bring lightweight, breathable clothing, a hat, and sunscreen to protect from the sun. Also, remember to dress modestly when visiting temples.

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Bali

For luxury beachfront accommodation, consider the Legian Bali or the W Bali in Seminyak. In Ubud, the Hanging Gardens of Bali offers a unique luxury experience with its Instagram-famous infinity pool.

For budget travelers, the Puri Garden Hotel and Hostel in Ubud offers comfort and excellent service. The Dash Hotel Seminyak, with its eclectic and colorful design, is an Instagram-worthy stay.
