Beware that the superior room has a caravan style bathroom, not soundproof, spacious or quiet. The bed was quite hard with only 1 thick pillow each. The soundproofing of the room itself was very poor, could hear every noise outside people opening and closing doors and traffic throughout the night. The breakfast spread was very average for a hotel of this price in the area. The pool is shared with local residents that live behind the hotel in separate villas. Would not stay again but the staff were very kind and the hotel was very clean.

Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. Restaurant in the hotel offered variety and was a good value and convenient.
Peaceful retreats located on Balis southernmost peninsula the Aman Villas at Nusa Dua are set within palm-fringed grounds and gardens with swimming pools flanked by aromatic frangipani trees. Modelled on traditional Balinese designs using local wood and stone the architecture is offset by the works of local artists. While the vibrant districts of of Sanur - Jimbaran - Kuta - Legian and Seminyak are all within easy reach. The Aman Villas at Nusa Dua are also the perfect starting point for a journey through Indonesia with Aman- Amandari - Amankila - Amanwana and Amanjiwo are all within easy reach.
Massages scrubs and beauty treatments informed by Balinese traditions are available in guests suites.
Cuisine focuses on local produce and seafood from nearby Jimbaran Market.
Imbued with a sense of space and serenity each occasion is joyfully and gracefully choreographed.

It is hard to imagine a hotel that costs RMB 30,000 per night.
I was scared to death by this hotel. I didn't sleep all night with my three-year-old child. I called the hotel front desk for four hours but no one answered. It was so hateful. When I needed help, no one answered the phone. I contacted the hotel front desk of the world's top luxury hotel but no one answered. I wanted to call the police but I thought it was better to have less trouble in Bali. Chinese people are really ripped off abroad. The hotel rooms are old and the same as those of Chinese three-star hotels. I posted it so that more Chinese customers can see it. Avoid danger and pitfalls

I had an amazing stay at the Nusa Dua Renaissance Resort! The room was spacious, very clean, and offered a stunning view of the swimming pool—absolutely perfect for relaxing. The pool itself was fantastic, beautifully maintained, and a great spot to unwind.
The location of the resort is another highlight; it’s convenient yet tranquil, offering the perfect balance for a getaway. The international breakfast buffet was truly superb, with a wide variety of delicious dishes to suit every palate.
Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, great amenities, and excellent service!

The rooms at this hotel are spacious and well-maintained by the cleaning crew. The housekeeping was the best aspect of this hotel as they were on top of maintaining top notch cleanliness in the rooms. The bathrooms of this hotel were big enough and toilets were sturdy. AC worked well and kept the room cool.
The pool was nice and had a special area for small children which was great. The cable package was also good with plenty of western channels.
The only drawback was the location. The hotel is very near to GWK park but other than that it is not walking distance from much. The hotel is centrally located BUT you will likely have to take Gojek/ Grab to go anywhere you want. Not much but a few convenience stores and small restaurants was easily walkable.
Oh the food here is truly subpar and not worth the money at all.
Overall, the hotel is pretty good for the price tag.

The pool villla was great, two large bedrooms and bathrooms with a good size pool and a day bed to relax. Staff were very nice and always happy to help. Food was good and special note to Frida at the restaurant for great service and always with a smile. The spa is also very good and special thanks to the spa staff. Highly recommended. Everything was good. Staff exceptionally friendly. Especially Ari was perfect for the job. Initially, I had a problem with check-in as they couldn't find my information. Ari resolved the issue nicely by upgrading our room first and fixed their problem back end. I really miss Ari as a result. Highly recommended.

Arriving at the hotel I immediately smelled the mould. The hotel is beautiful but smells. We were kindly received at the door, they picked up our luggage, and served us a welcome drink while we did the check in. I started to sneeze and my nose clogged so I explained I was allergic to dust and I would like a room with more sunlight and wind. When we entered the room the musty smell was unbearable. I immediately complained and they promptly found another room without carpets. I believe it was an upgrade. They also sent us an apology card with fruits and chocolates. Unfortunately, the new room was still smelly, not as smelly as the first one, but we accepted as we were super tired and didn’t want to wait any longer. Here are my pros and cons:
Pros:
Shower pressure was fantastic
Breakfast was great, they had options like avocado toast, salmon bagel, burritos, and a variety of international options
Bed was comfortable
Swimming pool Temperature was perfect and the bar very convenient with great drinks
Beach is clean and not crowded
Sunset is beautiful
The restaurants had a good environment and good food. A bit pricey, but overall worth it.
Cons:
Mould. This is actually the only reason I wouldn’t go back to this hotel. The smell is in the room and the entrance mainly. The rest of the areas are okay. This hotel was built in 1993, so I have to say that if it wasn’t for that, the hotel would be in amazing condition.
Service by the pool was very slow, my husband tried to get a beer first thing when he arrived and only after calling the waiter twice they brought him the beer, but it was room temperature! 😞
Coconut water and beer were not cold, they actually offered ice, but it just made it watery and tasteless.
Bike rental can only be used inside the hotel, and they don’t tell you that when you rent it. I tried to go out to cycle in the surrounding area and they didn’t allow me to go. After complaining, the charged me half price for the rent. I only used inside the hotel and at the beach in front of the hotel.
Concierge service was very slow and inefficient. He didn’t have packages to offer, photos, or videos. Everything was searched on Google right in front of us. The only option given was a private driver that could take us anywhere we wanted to go. The problem is that we didn’t know the places, so we were expecting a better introduction to the island and the activities. We ended up doing our own research and hiring the driver.
Transfer from hotel to airport costs 430,000 RP, but if you get a grab (similar to Uber/Didi) it will cost you less than 80,000 RP.
Overall, the hotel is a good option if you can tolerate the smell. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t recommend it. Otherwise it was a great stay for the price.

Very quiet hotel. Only seen maybe 5 other guests in a week. The photos don’t match the bathroom. I was most excited for the bathroom..it was still fine just not what expected(see photos with mould etc). Also very dark rooms ( which I liked) but not big windows with sun like you see in the picture. Also no washing up equipment etc for dishes in the one bed room residence. No cleaning service or new towels or toilet paper etc. I guess you have to buy yourself. For the price you could find something else with more perks. Definitely needs some TLC but still nice. Rent a bike from JACKY rental about 10 mins away. Good and trustworthy

GGuest UserI have a lot to say. On the surface, Maya Sanur is really beautiful and appears to be in a good location, staff are attentive and kind - as long as nothing goes wrong you're fine. After staying a few days we inevitably ran into a few issues. This certainly has nothing to do with the hotel but it's important to consider. Sanur is in a part of Bali that is less touristy albeit still touristy and draws enough crowds that you'd think the beach was really inviting when in fact it isn't. Sanur beach is gravely and pretty unswimmable, lots of algae and low tides make it almost impossible to enjoy unless you wake up super early or swim later in the evening. The crowd that Maya Sanur attracts are mostly older, white foreigners and not the friendly ones. I'm white but even I was like, ”What am I doing here?” If you like being around unfriendly, snooty folks, this is your spot. The staff were mostly accommodating and incredibly kind until one morning I requested an umbrella be opened on the beach for sitting in the sun. I was told, and I kid you not, ”NO, we don't put those up.” I asked why they were on the beach if people don't use them. I was answered with, ”There is a breeze so we don't open them.” I then asked, ”When do you use them?” to which the staff member replied, ”In the morning.” This whole conversation was nothing short of ridiculous, given the price you pay to stay here and the fact that every other resort on the beach has their umbrellas open is absolutely laughable that this man gave me such a dumb answer. I decided once we were back in the room that I should share this concern with the front desk. They apologized profusely and when I was on the beach later that evening, an umbrella was up. So silly. Another sort of annoying issue, I booked an extra night, I asked the front desk first and they gave me an inflated rate, they encouraged me to let them know if I booked a room online, which I did, on their site for cheaper. I let the front desk know and they said ok. Sadly, my flight couldn't be altered and we never ended up staying but when I called to let the front desk know our plans fell through, they offered me zero refund and said, maybe you can come back in 6 months to stay with us again. I felt a bit disappointed in this given that I wanted to book directly with the front desk, maybe even getting a better rate, considering I'd already spent a ton of money with them the first 4 days we stayed. When plans fell through, I notified the hotel immediately, less than 24 hours after my new booking and they were unwilling to offer a refund for a room I would never even stay in. I guess what I learned is, Maya Sanur is pretty but business and money far outweigh service and true hospitality. With so many other resorts to choose from, I wouldn't come back based on these interactions. This is not a low budget hotel so you expect a certain type of customer service. It is clear that Maya Sanur wants to keep attracting the crowd they have so I will look elsewhere next time. It's just sad that small gestures could have gone a long way to leave a better impression and a more satisfying stay.
YYoichiThe best hospitality and hotel design ever.
It’s the perfect to be relaxed at hotel although accesses to places to visit are not so nice, you do not need to go out from this hotel if you want to enjoy staying at hotel.
SSankeerthana ChiramanaIt was a memorable trip with my family in Bali Hilton resort. Especially the memories we captured in the beautiful locations of the resort by Dreams Studio Bali, Geraldo and Eka.
Thank you and wonderful job by you guys !! when I now see the pictures on my wall, I feel really happy and think that I've taken a good decision to choose you guys to capture our memories!!
GGuest UserA very disappointing stay at this hotel. Issues started at check in and continued throughout our stay . Our family booked 5 rooms at the Alam KUL KUL and we all had issues with facilities and getting any action taken to address them . To start we visited the hotel in mid November 2023 to enquire about late checkout when we stayed in February 2024. The hotel reception were very pleasant in November and guaranteed that late checkout was easy and it was a great rate of 550.000 . The reception staff said that they had added the late checkout to our booking. When we arrived in February everything was different. First the reception staff questioned that we had visited in November and that we did not have late checkout added to our booking. They insisted that we name the hotel staff who we had spoken with in November. After much discussion we had the late checkout added but staff were less than friendly. Then they insisted we pay the extra money straight away. We said no problem but then my wife’s wise card wouldn’t work in their payment machine and staff kept insisting that the wrong pin was being entered. My wife had been using the card for the last 7 days in Bali with no issues. So I then gave them my wise card and was surprised when it wouldn’t work in their machine either. I also had been using my card daily in Bali with no issues. After much further discussion with hotel reception they said that we could pay at check out. We had already pre paid for all 5 rooms prior to this. On the day of checkout I received a request to contact reception as they had no records of us asking for late checkout. During several WhatsApp messages from reception they said that we had refused to pay for the late checkout and that we had stated that we would get it free. I was absolutely disappointed to receive these messages and we had never stated anything about free late checkout. The reception staff continued sending messages that were completely false statements. In reflection I think that the staff were trying to cover up the poor service lack of professionalism that they lacked. This were only a few of the small issues that arose during our stay . Our daughter and family had a mouse running around their room and it took staff 3 days to come and look at the room. There was never any offer to change rooms. Another family group had their air conditioning not working and it took 3 days for the hotel to address that issue . My wife ordered drinks during happy hour at the garden pool and when the bill came they wanted to charge full price and their staff stated that my wife had ordered room service! She was locked out of our room at the time because the electronic key kept failing.
On 3 separate occasions I asked to speak with the hotel manager to see if we could get better communication and service. Unfortunately the manager was always unavailable, so can only assume that is where the problem starts . Too important or don’t care about hotel guests.
Most of the hotels staff were extremely friendly and welcoming especially the restaurant staff.
The Alam is a very old property in a very good location. The rooms have been renovated and beds are comfortable. After visiting Bali about 16 times and staying in many different hotels and villas this was our most disappointing stay in Bali. It’s a shame that the small issues kept coming and that the hotel were either trying to cover up or complacent about.
NNrynI recently stayed at the Ramayana Hotel with a friend, and we had a fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the friendly and trustworthy staff who made us feel welcome.
Our room was clean and well-maintained, featuring a comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. One small detail that stood out was the delightful scent of the soap provided—such a nice touch!
The amenities were excellent, and we really enjoyed making use of them during our stay. Overall, we had a lot of fun and felt right at home. I highly recommend Ramayana Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!
GGuest UserExcellent room. Really big with nice sitting area, balcony, good working desk. Also loved the bathroom.
Had some problems getting the safe to work but eventually were fixed.
There is not much micro economy outside and just one restaurant. I did manage to get Grab from the hotel.
The hotel runs a great shuttle to Semarapura and Goa Lawah, it's free but you tip the driver and guide and pay for entry to the various sites.
The spa area is nice but the treatment I had was not very good.
FFfern_elfRoom is nice and modern. Breakfast box is provided when requested for early Nusa Penida one-day trip. We found so many ants in the room, e.g., wall, working table, closet. Staff use insect repellent spray and it's kinda work. The security team is quite impressive, they help us get in the car and leading to our corrected elevator.
AAnonymous UserStaying here was a real retreat. The room which has pool access we booked was clean, spacious, intimate bcs there only a few room. Our room was very close to the dining gazebo where there were some plugs so we could working with our laptop with a sight of ricefields. the bathroom has a good warm water shower. I love when the morning sun can penetrate to the room. Nasi goreng and Mie goreng for breakfast are quite tasty. - But sometimes you can hear a gecko at night and unfortunately during our 2n3d stay, there were no one clean and make up our room. Also tissue and water didn't get refilled.
SShahriar ImranGreat central location
I stayed at Homestay Alam Pangkung for a night, really enjoyed its location in the city center where everything is within walking distance.
