Awesome hotel, excellent sanitation, complete family living facilities, all kitchen equipment, kitchen utensils are super good, just buy food from the supermarket, condiments can be like home to cook! Very suitable for bringing children, two A room with an en suite bathroom, each opening the door. The parking lot at the door is also very good. The breakfast was great and easy.
Located across from Lakeline Mall at US-183 and FM-620, we’re surrounded by shops and restaurants. Lake Travis parks and recreation are about 15 minutes away, and downtown Austin is about 25 minutes away. Our all-suite hotel is also convenient to corporate offices and attractions along I-35, about 15 minutes away.

Pros: Friendly and professional service, very convenient parking, hot breakfast, gym, one of few hotels in the area with an indoor pool, shower, patio with grills, kitchenette with full fridge, dishwasher, and and hotel cleanliness & housekeeping. Cons: Mattresses with noisy springs, watery eggs - possibly cooked in a bag. The rooms are perfect size for a business traveler, but it's not as comfortable for a family of 4. The biggest reason I chose this hotel was the indoor pool because the water in an outdoor pool would not be warm enough in March. Other reasons include being reasonably priced compared to its neighbors, hot breakfast, and location is surrounded

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Toilet wouldn't flush in 1st room. Room moved to discovered dirty sheets. Tired, figured just change the sheets. Changing rooms would've been better. 3 trips downstairs to get the correct size sheets. Night manager finally found a king sz fitted mattress cover. But no fitted sheet & one flat sheet. Remote extra dirty when wiped down. As if it had not been wiped off in quite some time. Called head office and complained. They were nice, only reason I'm giving them a 2 rating! While they thoroughly cleaned the room the next day and gave me a bunch of conciliatory points it does little to make me feel better about this location. Breakfast was substandard. Next morning asked for head manager, she had the front desk to say she was not in. Head manager was unaware I could see her sittingin her office. Left number, she never call. Next week, manager from hotel did call but not manager I left message for. He apologized profusely. One of the staff persons who knew of my complaint shared during my stay that head manager at site was lax on upkeep. Hopefully if you are reading this, there is a new head manager so that your stay may be more pleasant.

I Spent 3 nights in hotel during to no power in Houston. The interior of the hotel is updated, clean, smells good, and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I definitely recommend and will reserve again in the event of a hurricane.

After a long and tiring drive, we checked in, then discovered that that the room was ice-cold and the heat didn't work. The front desk refused to give us another room until the maintenance person came and checked it out. When he finally arrived, he confirmed that it was broken and called the front desk to get us another room. The key to the new room didn't work because the wrong room number was written on the key card envelope. But, finally we got a room after more than a half-hour. We were cold the first night because we didn't realize that the thermostat had to be set to the highest temperature in order to get any heat. The next morning, when we went to take showers, we discovered that there was no shower curtain... we hadn't noticed it before because we hadn't closed the bathroom door prior to that. We had an appointment to keep, so we took showers without a shower curtain and put towels on the floor to absorb all of the water that splashed out. The front desk was of little help, other than to tell us that she would contact the manager who wasn't there. We found a housekeeper in the hall and showed her what happened, and to her credit, she quickly cleaned up the mess, apparently took a shower curtain from an unoccupied room, installed it, and fixed that problem. The breakfast was very skimpy... no hot breakfast, no fresh fruit, no sweet rolls. They blamed it on the pandemic, but the two other Choice hotels in Texas that we stayed in during the same week had full buffet breakfasts. Attention to detail seems to be lacking. There was an ugly carpet stain in the carpet in our room, the screen on the window was dislodged, there was a big dent in the wall, and of course, the missing shower curtain. The beds were comfortable, and the hotel was in a good location, although there is traffic noise from the nearby freeway. It is difficult to find if you are coming from the east and not familiar with the area. Prior to the pandemic, I was a diamond elite Choice Privileges member for about 15 consecutive years, so I have hundreds of other Choice hotels to compare this experience to, and I would rank it near the bottom of the Comfort Suites brand.

Listen, I don’t usually mind Fairfield Inns. I appreciate the lower cost for a standard good restaurant. But I had a pretty terrible experience here. The staff was friendly and helpful and try to accommodate me but the problem is that there was no cure for the problem. Let’s just say you need to stay away from the 2nd floor. The first room I got smelled like mold and the mini fridge made an awful hissing noise, which I knew would be a problem for a light sleeper like myself. But the smell was the worst. So I asked to get a different room, which the gentleman helping me was kind enough to search for but could only find a room on the same floor. So I went to my new room hoping it would be better. But nope. It was a 2nd floor issue. The room smell was just as bad. But at this point there were no other rooms open, according to the front desk. So I settled in that dreadful room, with a splitting headache from the awful smell. I even brought some co-workers to come smell the room and make sure I wasn’t going crazy. They were staying on the 4th floor and had no issue with smell, but immediately recognized that my room smelled awful. Now, the rooms were fine, although there’s barely any decor (maybe because they ended up putting me in an accessible room and they might not decorate it as usual there), but it was sterile and I felt like I was staying in a hospital. To make matters worse, my 3rd night there my mini fridge started making a hissing noise in the middle of the night. So loud I had to just unplug the fridge from the wall. Please get higher quality mini fridges! So, no, I don’t recommend this hotel. The breakfast was fine. I always enjoy the waffle maker but you can get those in most similar hotels.

Ken the manager was super helpful with a noise issue. They have a shuttle that was a godsend during my eye surgery at Austin Eye just across Hwy 183. Since I was alone and couldn’t drive I was wonderful to be taken and picked up by a friendly driver. I stay here every time I’m in Austin 😊

Review of Home2 Suites by Hilton Cedar Park (July 11-14, 2024) We recently stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton Cedar Park from July 11-14, booking two rooms through *******: a Studio Suite King and a Studio Queen with 2 beds. Unfortunately, upon arrival at 3 pm, those rooms were not available. Instead, we were moved to a 1 Queen with a sofa and a 1 Queen Bed Studio. One of the queen rooms was not properly cleaned and felt outdated, with dirty sheets and a less-than-ideal bathroom. The other room, however, was clean. We were promised to be moved to our reserved rooms by noon on Friday, but they were not ready until after 2 pm. After finally moving, both rooms were clean and refreshing. A word of caution: if you book through *******, Home2 Suites seems to prioritize direct bookings from their members, so the room you paid for might not be available upon arrival. Despite these issues, Sienna at the front desk and Greg did everything to make our stay comfortable, providing great customer service. However, the phone lines were down, and the internet service was horrible.

I enjoyed staying here. This hotel is very trendy and great for any couples or friend trips as they have a really funky bar right in the lobby, a great snack bar with lots of choices & this is one of the most dog friendly hotels I’ve ever been too in my life! (They even have treats for the fur babies upon arrival) The costumer service was good, front desk is very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and spacious. The only thing I wish they had to offer was a movie list to rent new movies!

GGuest UserWe pulled in about 2:00 am. We were tired and pleased to find a place near the airport at a reasonable rate. Our plan was to relocate to a better/different place in the morning. It turned out that the staff and facility were so good, we extended our stay for a few more days. A huge THANK YOU to the staff at the Wyndham Airport location. A great value because of the great staff!
GGuest UserPerfect!! New and SPOTLESS room. Yes, a little small for American standards but more than enough for a short stay. Good breakfast, with healthy options (fruit, good yogurt, omelettes)… my husband would have liked more options but I had to remember him that it’s a 2-star hotel. It did not seem like that, but above 😊
Body soap, shampoo, condicioning and body cream. The only thing that I missed was a hairdryer… I have brought one just in case from some others 2-star hotels reviews. I didn’t ask but I am pretty sure that they would have provided one at your request. The room also had an iron & iron table. Very kind personnel. And… kids stay for free!! We are a family of three but even better deal for a family of four!!
Close to the highway, 15-20 min driving to Capitol and downtown… and perfect location to explore the sorroundings!!
GGuest UserI chose this hotel because I had an early flight out after staying 2 days. Upon checking in I noticed a few tiny ants on my bathroom counter and killed them but didn't think much about it. When I woke up in the morning there were tiny ants all over the counter including on my toothbrush and razor and all over the sink. I went to the front desk and told them about the ant problem, showed them pictures and asked to change rooms. They gave me another room which I am happy to say didn't have any ants. I was surprised that there was no offer of any compensation, either in discount or points when I brought this problem to the front desk. I did eat breakfast one morning in the hotel restaurant. I got the eggs, pancakes, bacon and potatoes. Everything was fine except the potatoes were cold. Also, the time it took to get my food from when it was ordered was slow. If you look at the satellite view there is a way to walk to the terminal in about 15 minutes if you don't want to take the free shuttle. I do like that the hotel sent me a text with a link to track the shuttle when I called from the airport and needed to be picked up. I probably would not stay here again since downtown is just a 20 min ride away.
GGuest UserConsistently lovely hotel with consistently good service. The juevos rancheros I ordered and had delivered to my room were incredibly good! And the coffee was nice and strong ….. glad I asked for extra cream and sugars ! Great location near the Arboretum stores and shops at the Domain . Also close to Whole Foods, H‑E‑B grocery store, Gateway movie theater, and lots of good restaurants, many within walking distance.. Large rooms, bathroom stocked with Aveda products. (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap for hands) was a very nice touch!
The only thing I didn’t like was they have recently started charging for self parking in their uncovered lot ….. I paid $20 on 1/31/24. I don’t like that at all. Just put the price in your room rate and say free parking!
EExpatCambria is a newer hotel amidst the redevelopment projects taking place near Rainey Street, a historic landmark of homes turned into entertainment venues. Cambria is opposite side of the spectrum with innovative decor and relaxation. Note that parking costs 49USD per day with valet access only. We chose not to rent a car based on our needs in Austin. Came to visit my son and his family with my eldest son, so we wanted to have some options near nightlife activities. Local drivers shared info on the changes made to the nearby historic street, and staff was friendly with all needs. The water statiins were a plus. Where I think Cambria can improve is in the price of the rooms, menu items and operation hours of their lobby bar/roof bar since staff was short during our stay. Walking to the entertainment street required the back alley short trek, and that aspect took away from the lush atmosphere of the hotel. Grafitti and Limestone hotel venues can easily adjust their marketung strategies towards in-house entertainment along with the Valet arrangement to flow more smoothly and affordably. It’s a lovely hotel which can become full circle staycation with a few adjustments regarding that aspect. New business developments working alongside grass roots businesses is key to smooth changes for both visitors and long-time locals. The pool atmosphere is great, the gym is clean, and the first floor waiting area an easy meeting spot.
GGuest UserI was extremely upset to see a movie with nudity and a scene of a nude man and a woman having sex (AKA porn) on the lobby / breakfast room television. I was even more upset when after asking the the manager, Diana, to change the channel she came into the area and I instead of just changing the channel to something more appropriate, asked the man seated behind me if it was okay for her to change the channel as if something like that was up for a vote among guests instead of hotel policy. To say I was angry at the way she mis-handled this would be an understatement . Despite the fact I stayed at this Hampton at least a half dozen times last year or so
, I won’t be returning. Keep porn off public televisions and teach managers how to deal with matters of corporate policy would be my suggestion Hampton/Hilton.
Otherwise the location is good and the rooms are clean. Too bad they allow unclean programming to be played on their television in the public area. Thankfully no children were in there at the time this occurred.
My company Amazing Art Expo did a Disney, Star Wars, Anime art event at the Holiday Inn Midtown the weekend of Feb 1-3rd and my staff and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. I want to first state, the rooms were incredibly clean, comfortable and the beds were very comfortable to a point where I slept better here than I do in my regular bed at home. The parking was plentiful and free and my staff and I felt safe with the surroundings that each night we walked to a restaurant without any worries. In first contacting the hotel about a month prior to the event, I spoke to Angie Mitschke who took the time to go over potential dates and respecting my budgetary needs, Angie worked extensively with me to accommodate our budget and reserve the ballrooms for us. I then proceeded to communicate with Mayra Lopez. Mayra was very adamant about making certain our room setup fit our expectations and her communication with me was outstanding. Despite our move-in date scheduled for Friday morning, Feb 1st, I requested at the last minute if we could unload the merchandise in our truck on Thursday afternoon in order to save time. Mayra and Angie both made this possible which gave us much more time to set up on Friday. This was a very nice add on and was greatly appreciated. The ballroom setup person (unfortunately I forgot his name) often checked in with us to see if we needed any service. Needless to say, the staff went above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend this hotel and I plan to do future business with them.
EEnglishTeacher朱丽叶Location was excellent! Close to many destinations from bars, clubs and restaurants, grocery stories (target, Whole Foods)
Down the street from Franklins BEST brisket in Austin 😝
Friendly check in , pool is perfect for summer weather! Gave cleanliness a 4 bc toilet didn’t not work first day and when send plumber to fix he has to go out and buy a part that needed replacement due to not being maintained. Took half a day to get fixed and couldn’t use restroom to 💩
After new part was installed , toiled flushed and at times got stuck so we had to turn of the water from bottom of toilet and turn back in for feces to flush 😩
Other than that, we were closed to many locations assessable on lime light scooter. Friend lobby held our bags last day for us to explore and we’re kind enough to deliver pre stamped postcards ♥️
