Lots of nice people who stay in Auckland for a long time are there. Was very well received even though I was only there one night. All in all a good hostel

Hygiene: Not very good, but the people are nice

More suitable for young people, free and open atmosphere, and the health condition is okay

It is a very good choice, and there are many interesting friends here.

Good service attitude

Really bad. Really loud. The rooms have too many bunk beds. Think of a 4 person room with an extra pair of bunk beds added. The hostel makes more $ but the travelers are stuck in a too small room. There are only tiny lockers so bags are all over the floor and you can't even walk around in the room. The hostel is very loud ALL THE TIME. The staff is very unfriendly and very unprofessional. They don't give any information about kitchen, bathrooms etc. They just play on their phones and get visibly upset if you ask questions. I tried to talk to the manager and she couldn't care less. Basically told me that's just how it is. RUDE! AVOID THIS PLACE. There are plenty of other way better places. I left after 1 night. It was 1 night too many. Nothing positive at all.

Immediately left after seeing condition of the facility and especially the bedding. Crowed and dirty. Mattress and mattress pad were filthy/ stained. Would not let my dog sleep on that bed! Pre-Paid for 2 nights and management refused any refund as they said they had been giving out “too many refunds lately”. That should speak for itself!
