A Disappointing Stay in a Prime Location I had a rather frustrating experience at Hotel Meworld. While its location is undeniably convenient, that's really the only positive thing I can say. It's a stay I would not repeat and cannot recommend. Location: The hotel's biggest asset is its location. It's situated in an old building right at the Taipei Main Station exit Z2, which is incredibly convenient for travelers arriving by MRT or train. You're immediately in the heart of the city's transport hub. Arrival & Building Experience: However, that's where the positives end. The building itself is old and houses several other hotels, which creates a lot of confusion from the moment you arrive. There is no clear signage at the entrance to indicate that you're at the right building for Hotel Meworld, making check-in a stressful start to your stay. The lift situation is particularly bad. Because it's shared with the entire building, including other hotels and offices, you often have to wait a very long time for a crowded elevator. It's a major inconvenience, especially with luggage. The "Hotel" Vibe: The reception area feels more like a small, impersonal office than a hotel lobby. It lacks any warmth or welcoming atmosphere, which sets a disappointing tone for the accommodation. The Room: The room was incredibly dated and in poor condition. My room had a window, but the view was of a wall and a massive, noisy air conditioning compressor unit. It was impossible to enjoy any natural light or fresh air without being subjected to constant droning noise. The furniture and decor felt old and tired. The biggest issue for comfort was the bed. The mattress and pillows were rock-hard and extremely uncomfortable, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Overall: While Hotel Meworld boasts a perfect location right at Taipei Main Station, the confusing building access, terrible lift situation, dated rooms, and rock-hard beds make for a genuinely unpleasant stay. I would strongly advise looking for one of the many other hotels in the immediate area for a more comfortable and welcoming experience. I will not be returning.

The hotel is very near in Taipei Main Statio which is very convenient for travelling in Taipei. Spacious and clean rooms, and staffs are accommodating. Drinking water and laundry is also available. There are restaurants and food stalls (the rice rolls are must try!) near the hotel. You can also try the trending claw machines on the basement where you can get real food.

The location of the hotel is very convenient and I highly recommend it to everybody comes to Taipei.

The hotel location is quite good, right next to the MRT and convenient for transportation. However, the room is quite old and not soundproof. The hotel also provides luggage storage service.
