It takes about an hour to get to Phi Phi Island by hotel speedboat from Phuket Royal Pier. The front desk of the hotel does not speak Chinese at all, and you need to communicate in English. You can book the return transportation when you check in. The hotel environment is very good, the staff inside are very polite, the room is very clean, the only drawback is that there are too many mosquitoes! Be sure to bring your own mosquito repellent water! Mosquito repellent stickers are also prepared, because there are many mosquitoes outdoors! The hotel has Western restaurants, cafeterias, Thai restaurants, etc., the taste is average and the price is not cheap. Thai restaurant is halfway up the mountain, you need to book, there are many black mosquitoes, it is not recommended to go. I don't know why I was fighting a boat with the guests of the three hotels along the way. There were a lot of people and luggage, and it was very crowded. I sat with my boyfriend and was talked about by a white mean girl saying that we were selfish and didn't understand why we didn't sit separately to keep balance... But the other couples on the boat didn't sit separately because there were two of us Chinese, it was hard to suspect that it was not discrimination.

The facility was great and it was beautiful and it did offer a number of amenities but I will be honest the service wasn’t the greatest. I felt as if as a paying customer I was constantly being treated like I was a burden for asking for things like “extending my say” I don’t want to generalize and say it was all the workers there was a man named “Chan” who had a very passive aggressive attitude with me and other people there. I understand that it’s a 5 star resort and it is on the pricier side but it constantly felt like they were also trying to capitalize on the necessities you’ll need because it is on an isolated island. (Word of advice go to the local village for things like pharmacy needs, cosmetic and booking boats and excursions it’s 10 times cheaper.) At the resort they will do things like charge nearly 30$ for a bottle of sunscreen at the gift shop because they know you’ll need it. Going back to this I tried to extend my stay with them and Chan told me I was going to have to pay double the original price if I wanted to stay another night I quickly went online and saw that it was half the price that he quoted and just immediately felt quite put off and like he was doing whatever possible to milk us financially when we are already being generous and willing customers. I was in a group of four people and everyone in my group had stomach issues after eating at the breakfast buffet so that was a problem as well. We were also not told that on the resort is a mosque and you will be woken up to the call of prayer frequently. I have no problem with people exercising there religious traditions I would just like a forewarning about being woken at 5AM to hear the it.

Never thought I’d be able to stay in a place like this on a very reasonable price. I’m a super happy that I chose this place over the cheap and convenient Tonsai area options. It was peaceful even though there were quite a lot of families with small children. I’m not sure if this was because I was a few days ahead of the October 1 opening of Maya Bay tourism season but nevertheless, it was a great experience. Hotel organized activities are quite pricy but a lot of options with the local village tour vendors so shop around before you decide.
