Do not make reservations at Ctrip in the future. I don't understand why. Your hotel will not be cancelled if you don't cooperate with Ctrip. We will not book a reservation at Ctrip. |3.51km from downtownOverall, both the location and the room are good and decent clean. They clean the room daily and upon request you can also ask to change the bedsheet. Very near to MRT station and convenient store 7E is just beside the hotel. The only downside of the room is there isn't any window and aircon unable to adjust. If too cold, you tried to adjust up, it will fall back to original temp which probably due to central temperature setting. Sometimes too cold, and unable to adjust is quite disturbing when sleeping.

Message me on their wattapps number to be instructed on the process of getting a key card to enter the hotel room..It's stressful because you will do all the procedures by yourself..When you enter, the room is was clean, the toilet is nice, towels and Also the place very close to shilin night market, Bus station and train station. Satisfied even though we had a hard time getting in first 😁

We were satisfied with the location, cleanliness, service, and facilities.
At first, the building itself seemed old and the first floor felt a bit dirty.. And the hotel was on the 3rd floor, so what is it?.... But..
When we went up to the 3rd floor, the hotel itself was clean and the staff was very, very kind.
Our room, which was designated as a family room, was on the 4th floor Wow~~~ It was a little disappointing that there was no window, but the spacious, clean, and good water pressure bathroom and toilet made up for it.
We expected breakfast because the rate included breakfast.. haha This hotel doesn't have a restaurant, so it seems to have contracted with nearby cafes.. restaurants and provided meals.
The breakfast at the nearby cafe was simple and delicious, like sandwiches, hamburgers, and coffee. Our family had a satisfying breakfast.
Our family had a pleasant trip and returned home safely.

|3.01km from downtownThe hotel is situated at the Taipei Main Station with around few minutes walk from Exit M5. There are many restaurants, coffee shop, convenience shop nearby. It is easy for you to find eating places no matter for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Besides, it only takes about 16 minutes walk to Xinmending. It is very convenient to go there for shopping or eating.
All hotel staff are very friendly, helpful, proactive and communicate with good English. However the downside is the bed mattress too soft to sleep. In addition to very limited room spaces there.
The welcome beer offers to hotel clients make me surprise and really fresh you up indeed.

Close walk to Taipei Main Station and Taoyuan Airport MRT station for transportation (just need to figure out the right exit to enter or exit the station), walking distance to Ximenting for shopping, there are lots of eateries nearby, Chengzhong Market (城中市场 translate to Market in the city), a local market, is walking distance with lots of local food stalls.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby area is quite spacious with some longish siting area. There is no common area to work though.
We booked 2 types of room for our group. Share Studio and Classic Twin.
The Share Studio comes with 4 single beds, no window, but spacious. However, the toilet ergonomics not so good as there is no space to place toiletries in the shower cubicle except on the floor. 1 bit towel and a small towel are provided for, together with 2 paper cups for each bed. Each bed has a luggage storage area under the bed, a lockable drawer, and a small compartment for storing things. Each bed comes with a small retractable desk with its own light at the foot of the bed.
The Classic Twin has better ergonomics in the toilet, and has windows to get ventilation (if needed). This room is considered more premium than the Share Studio, it comes with tea and coffee, and ceramic cups.
In each room a water jug is provided for, and at least 2 water stations are available on each floor.
Will I stay here again? Definitely.

|3.39km from downtownThe location was great, just a few minutes walk from Ximending Night Market and Red House, and also walkable to Taipei Main Station, although slightly further. There were two halal beef noodle restaurants at the street down the road, and the hotel is on the same road as the Hello Kitty 7-11. I loved the free snacks, popcorn, tea, milk tea, soda, and the games in the lobby were also nice. The hotel can keep your luggage for you after check-out if you have a late flight. The only downsides were no daily cleaning, and there is only one washing machine downstairs shared with others, but other than that, everything is great. Oh the curtain does not fully block out the light and the sunrise is super early like 5am or something. They also have free umbrellas for you to use if it rains.

At the basement, one can find free-flow drinks, massage chair, board games, computer game and exercise equipment.
Many good food eateries can be found around the hotel, especially near the metro station.
Only area of improvement is the housekeeping, wish they are more thorough in this area.

|0.4km from downtownFor the price you pay, it is definitely good enough! Check in and check out was very smooth and the employee informed well what my room includes and reminds of breakfast options. They help to hold luggage after you check out.
The room itself has this ramp in the room and the ledge into the bathroom is huge so I stubbed my toe a couple times and it was painful. It was one of my first times getting a room with no window and it definitely makes a difference to a stay to not have sunlight in morning, so if that matters to you, don’t come here. I chose this as I just needed a place to shower and rest before a flight. The wall paper was worn down. Amenities in mini bar was complimentary which is a nice gesture. For a one night stay, i didn’t need to go out to buy water as i had 2 bottles provided. Large enough space to open luggage and still have walking space, and it felt like it was a king size bed (or 2 doubles together). Aircon works well. Ideal location on blue line to get to Taipei Main station to take to Taoyuan airport and one of my favourite dumpling restaurants downstairs (Lin’s steamed dumplings).

Downside would be that the rooms are too small and noisy as we could hear flushing, tap water flowing, etc. The hotel is located near some hospital route and you can hear ambulance sirens almost every other timing hence sleep is affected.

It could be a little inconvenient too if want to visit the town. There is an hourly shuttle bus. I enjoyed the hot spring tub a lot in my room. The room is fully furnished. Very spacious toilet.

I was told all safes in this hotel cannot be used due to the vivid. It’s so funny. I have been traveling in Asia since last February and it the first time that I was told the safe cannot be used due to the covid at a 4-star hotel in October 2023 in Taipei.

Xinbeitou as a destination itself is relaxing and has opportunities for decent food nearby and some short hikes through parks and over hills (phoenix mountain). Proximity to metro is very convenient. There are local markets nearby for visitors that are cute as well

|3.38km from downtownIt was within walking distance of Taipei Station and had a 24-hour front desk, so it was perfect for a late-arriving flight.
There are many bus routes so it's convenient to go anywhere, and the night market is just a short walk away so you can wander around light and light.
The room had a refrigerator and a kettle, and the two bottles of water were very appreciated.
The staff were all friendly.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, hotel prices have been rising in Taipei,
so I think this price for a private room is good value for money.
There is a big gap between the exterior and interior, in a good way, but
I'd like to stay here again next time.

Love the capsule style beds, always love sleeping in a capsule it makes me feel so safe and private. Very clean, well maintained, facilities were great, price is right. I would 100% stay here again next time I'm in Taipei.
