Location is good, within Sutera area with food and entertainment all within walking distance. Hotel has water dispenser, so free water. BUT ventilation is not isolated and ****** was smoking in toilet next door that blew into our room. Hotel staff stopped them but room still smell of smoke for rest of night.

I had a great stay at Here Hotel in Sekudai, Johor Bahru. The location was perfect, especially since it was near the wedding I attended. The room was clean and comfortable, though toiletries were minimal, so I'd suggest bringing your own if you're particular. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. The overall experience was good but there were a few hiccups. First off, the customer service wasn't exactly on point. Since it’s a self check-in setup, I expected them to reach out with the check-in details, but nope, nothing. I had to chase them down myself on the day of the staycation. Sent a message, but the response was slow, ended up having to call them directly. Even then, the check-in instructions didn’t come right away, despite them saying they’d send it over quickly. I had to follow up again before they finally sent it over. It was honestly a bit of a hassle. Second off, the cleanliness was a total letdown. The living room had sunflower seeds all over likely the leftovers from whoever stayed before. It’s definitely a hygiene issue. However, the rest of the place was actually pretty decent. The bedroom was cozy and the bathroom was spotless. Plus, the location was super convenient and the overall vibe of the place was really nice once you settled in. It definitely had potential to be great if the small stuff like customer service and cleanliness got sorted out.

Basic hotel with amenities like disposable slippers, tooth brushes & pastes, hot/cold shower functioned, body soap dispenser in shower, hand & bath towels provided - 1 set of towels was thick & fluffy which the other set was thin & greyish, bidet, hair dryer, kettle, coffee & condiments, bottled water, cold aircon, clear TV images in all SG and local channels, comfy bed and pillows. The only setbacks are no safe deposit box in room, fingerprints stained glass table and sticky floor. Relatively clean and not for OCD guests. However cleanliness could improve. Best of all, love the strategic location. Surrounded by cafes, restaurants, pubs and massage and non-halal food is easily available within the vicinity. There was a pub just opposite at the end of the block playing loud live music every night but I didn’t hear anything. It was all quiet in my room and I slept soundly. Sutera Mall is just 5 mins away by foot. Didn’t try the spa within the hotel because I prefer full fledged massage. Highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights, overall was ok. However towels were not clean and had stains on them. Bathtub were not super clean and hot water was not enough, basically filled up the tub with hot water but once it's full, it's room temperature. Location was okay as there's a family mart right beside and a very nice cafe.

I always stay in ksl whenever I go jb for 2 or 3 days trip. I loved the location as it Is easily accessible to many areas. The only things I don’t like about the hotel is the room windows as it is very dirty on the outer window n cant see the beautiful view clearly. I am glad that the hotel room comes with ironing equipment but the ironing board is very old and the iron wire is broken n is not very safe to use. Hope the hotel management can do something about it. Overall am pleased with my stay. Thank you!

Room is big and generally cozy, staff service is good, overall great experience. Breakfast also quite ok. The only minor thing is that check in time is strictly at 3pm, we arrived at 2.30pm and need to wait till 3pm to get the room card. Reminder to guest who drove to Amari not to use TNG card when entering carpark, must get a parking ticket, pay 10RM for a day at reception and validate at L6 machine.

The hotel offered a comfortable and pleasant stay with excellent amenities. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests like extra pillows, towels and etc. The only issue was that the air conditioning in the room was not working, so we called the front desk, and maintenance was sent to our room immediately to check and resolve the issue. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was rather old as we were greeted with the rumbling sound of aircon when we first started the aircon in the room. It took quite long for the maintenance to come to our room to check and told it is normal, as by then the sound has subsided. He suggest to change the room, and after he left and had much discussion, we decided to keep the room. So we notified the receptionist to keep the room, but after returning to the hotel in the late evening, the receptionist still asked us whether we wanted to change the room. Passing of messages is bad. What is worse is that you are given 2 small mineral bottles per day, and after that, if you need more, you have to pay RM$3 per bottle. Breakfast was good, but I hope the hotel can look into providing more water or having water dispensers at all levels. Thank you.

The hotel was located in a rather quiet place of JB. Need to travel a distance around to get to the hotel. The room was a decent size and cosy. There are limited TV channels and foods in the breakfast which are areas which I think can improve on. The hotel also provides pick up from Holiday Inn Hotel near JB City Square (In pic 2) to their hotel at limited timing. Last but not least, the walls are thin (in pic 1), so if you are a light sleeper, this hotel is not the one for you. Overall for a non crowded hotel, the hotel is not bad for just a short period of stay.

The hotel needs a renovation and update with the interior. The room (Premier King) is very spacious but the space is not properly utilized. TV is very small. Wall scones are almost falling and sanitary wares are old. WiFi inside the room is okay. The aircon and mini bar fridge are old but still working very well. There were hairs in the bathroom when I checked in. For breakfast, the pancake (Jan 29th) and Apam Balik (Jan 30th) are very very delicious as well as the dimsum. The water melon however tastes like onion (Jan 30), I suspected it was the knife they use to cut the watermelon. The hotel has so much potential if renovated. I just noticed they are not observing safety as they are using the ledge in the corridors to make a temporary rack for towels and rugs while the housekeeping staffs are cleaning the rooms. These might fall on the atrium which might harm someone below.

Decent price. Good location. Can find eateries and convenience stores nearby within walking distance. But the hotel is surrounded by clubs and bars, so it doesn't look family friendly in my opinion. Booked sea view room, the room is very spacious, the view is great. The swimming pool is clean, there is small garden at swimming pool area it's nice. On the cons side: The hotel is quite rundown unfortunately, the standard is below the par from other Berjaya Group hotels. It could have looked grand with more maintenance and upgrading. The surrounding corridors to the room are gloomy with musty smell, lift has tobacco smell, the decoration and furniture are outdated. On the day I checked in and checked out time, there were workers cleaning the main entrance lobby floor with big pool of water, why they do it at this time??? Room cleanliness can be better. There were small flies in the toilet and the room itself. Furnitures like the tables are dusty, I had to clean them off with tissue papers. The toilet seat and the water tap head at the basin are a little flimsy though, had to use with extra careful, I was afraid it may fall off. Torn bedsheet at one corner. The room that I got at 14th floor is not really soundproof. At night, can hear loud booming bass noise from the clubs downstairs when it was time to quiet down for sleep, very annoying. Not an ideal place for a peaceful getaway. The room came with breakfast, but it was very basic. Don't expect much.
