the best attributes are location and price. reasonable price in a prime location, 2 large malls within walking distance. The area is also relatively safe, plus a McD in the same building should you have midnight cravings or early morning hunger However as a business hotel (no facilities) there are a lot to improve - already indicated there are no windows, so good for short stay - Cleanliness needed improving as we found small cockroaches inside the bathroom and one even crawled up the bed - wifi speed was terrible, borderline unusable - room partition was terribly thin, you can hear the conversations from the other rooms (even noises of **********, if that's you thing)

Recently stay here from Friday 11 March - Sunday 13 March. Great location in the Heart of Jakarta. The best 3 star hotel ever in Jakarta. Affordable price with very spacious room and the amenities very complete. Beautiful swimming pool similar to 5 star hotel and they have Gym as well. Totally surprised with the private butler services because I am not staying in 5 star hotel. Personalized luxury service from Vincent as a Hotel Manager and His team member Nurul, Rahmat, Rizal, Aminudin also not to forget the security team in the lobby Maryadi and Suhadi. Home away from home concept and feels like home. This hotel will be my first choice next time if I want to do a short escape from home. For sure it's a Hidden Gem in Jakarta

Great value, nice hotel generally clean, just a little old. Very kind and helpful staff. Just 1 thing to take note that it's beside a cemetery so stay here only if you're not superstitious. But overall good experience.

The lobby looks very new. The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious but gives you an “old room” vibe. The bed and pillow were comfortable. The room design just didn’t suit me. I would have preferred no TV than the tv in a tv wooden cabinet that was in the room. I loved the view from my room, though. And breakfast selection was decent.

Despite the excellent front desk staff, clean and comfortable room and location, the corridor on level 29 had an overpowering smell of smoke that seeped into my unit. After informing the front desk of the scent, housekeeping placed a deodoriser along the corridor. Unfortunately, the smell was still lingering along the corridor and our unit. It is very disappointing that a well-known international brand still offers smoking rooms, ruining an otherwise enjoyable experience. I hope the hotel management will look into this matter, as smoking in air-conditioned rooms is harmful to health.

Stayed 2 nights, hoping to disconnect selves from routinities with different ambiance and experience facilities ie pool, gym or sauna - or simply elevate bonding along with some tea/ coffee in the room. Sadly, none of those were available at their service. I listed myself to use the pool for the next morning (since limited seats were allowed due to pandemic) - just to experienced nothing more than 3mins in the pool. It was foggy under the water! Can you believe that? The janitor told me it’s due to the cleaning process. Well I’ve tried to swim in so many pools - never once it was foggy because of cleaning process. More likely it’s severe dirty instead! Then I humored mysef with sauna, which I wasted 25mins awaited the room to be ready, and it’s not even close to ‘warm’. Seriously, what a start of the day! Later in the eve around 9ish pm, a just checked in guest next room was making a ridiculously loud noise phone call. I asked the management to assist - which they did, but seemed that the Hotel rep was too soft that the loud noise happened again at 11pm. Hello? Try to be firm, will you? We were offered to move to an upgraded room - which was unnecessarily big. Another unpleasant experience happened there, where the tea cups and electric kettle had stains in most parts. Last but not least, the cooler were off in the hallway, receptionist area and in the elevator. I so believe the management has long list of homework to settle, to elevate service rating - so please do start soonest!

If you look at the photos i uploaded, it feel like we are not in Ritz Carlton, a brand that sharply promise its excellent services. I dont know what happen to them, but check in only 2 desk, and another spot of check in at very crowd q as well. Guest just waiting like in a bus terminal and while seeing check in process took 30 minutes avg per one guest. Staff promise to take care my room key, but very surprise she only made a statement and never appear to follow up on her promise to me. They just horrible not at the right time, new year holiday season. I just get into my room at 4PM and still without room key, so i am waiting there without any room light.

The 1st time we encounter a high floor hotel in Jakarta and it was amazing! Compared to other hotels with high floor concept that are business friendly and somehow lack of family support (tried some in Japan though), Langham Jakarta is very family friendly while still also friendly for business issues. We had staycation here for our anniversary (and plus an infant now). So much thank you to the team (Ms. Yuca, Ms. Haniffa, Ms. Lulu) helped me preparing the surprise for my wife. The decoration and cake are simple but very pretty. Oh, and its very nice to have your romantic event here. Either dining at Tom's or making it in room dining, views are supporting your wish for the night. The breakfast also great! Haven't taste a good breakfast in Jakarta besides 1 other hotel near it. So far, I can rank breakfast at Tom's at 1st.

Service was quite patchy as the pool closing hours all differs from the tv/app (10/1030pm), signboard (930pm) and staff (7pm). At the pool area, guests were offered a bowl of fruit but there's none offered to me. Also, the minibar area doesn't come with complimentary snacks as mentioned in their menu. Turndown service had to be requested instead of it automatically done. Apart from the negatives, the facilities and interior of the hotel was gorgeous. Rooms were suite like with living and a bedroom. Breakfast was good although missing items like crackers for the cheese board but was promptly adjusted by the staff after. Room service dinner, Milano Burger is not tasty but lunch, Nasi Goreng was nice with satay, prawn, sambal and bread offered.
