It was a last minute booking on the eve of new year's eve and we got lucky to still be able to book a room for night. Check-in was smooth and great, there was welcoming drink after checking in to the room. The room was spacious and does have all the amenities that you need, a bath tub, standing shower, separate toilet, a balcony to dry your swimwear. The room has party mood light setting so we had extreme fun! Location was extremely prime as this is a beachfront resort, you can access double six beach through the swimming pool which I have to say it was a great pool. Night view of the pool is absolutely stunning. By the beach were a couple of beach bars which is good if you decide to hang out by the beach. Buffet breakfast has quite a spread which I have nothing to complain about. If you had sea/ocean view, its absolutely stunning!

Frequent holiday takers to Bali, we are thoroughly enjoying our stay in this new, clean Hotel. Great large room (529), blissfully quiet, comfortable bed & pillows. Right on the beach at start of Seminyak & within easy walking distance to great restaurants & shopping along Double Six Rd. Thank you to our wonderful room boy Gede Murdiana who was quick to accommodate our request for extra pillows, always kept room stocked up & cleaned to perfection. We highly rate this hotel for the cost.

A great resort place to stay. Room is spacious and clean. Service is excellent. We asked for a dehumidifier as the room is a bit humid. Everything we asked for were taken care of promptly. It has direct access to the beach. What I like most is their breakfast!

The hotel has a small road leading to the beach, which is relatively close and can be reached in about 5 minutes. It's about 15 minutes by taxi from the city center. But in terms of the hardware itself, all I can say is OK. The house is old, the shower has been embroidered, the air conditioner is not working, and it can be used again after repair. The bathroom window could not be closed, and the worker took a long time to climb out and pushed it hard. Hygiene is OK, the sheets are stained, but not because they have not been changed, but because they can't be washed off. Washing and bathing water are salty. The most important thing is that the hotel has just been painted with a lot of smell. It takes the elderly and children and really doesn't want to live. However, it is not easy to find other places temporarily. The little girl who checked in didn't speak much English, so communication was a bit laborious, and she had to rely on translation software. The boss is absent and many things cannot be solved. A French lady who claimed to be her boss friend was very enthusiastic and helped out, thank you very much! By the way, there is a horse farm next to the hotel, which is a little smelly, so there are a lot of mosquitoes and mosquito repellent water is essential. The sunset in Seminyak is still very beautiful, it is worth seeing!

Recently renovated wonderful one bedroom suite. Complete with new lounge suite ,bed and Balinese day bed . Generously sized living area,kitchen and lounge area with private balcony. This is a great beachfront location close to lots of great restaurants . Watch the sunset at one of the beach bars. The hotel staff are very friendly and happy to help.

We have stayed several times in the past, and everything was as we remembered - excellent service with happy staff, clean room, bountiful breakfast with unlimited hot coffee and brilliant omelets etc. However there are lots of little maintenance issues - broken taps, none of the pool furniture has been upgraded, beach & bath towels could be renewed..... But we do have a gripe about the HOT WATER (rather, lack of it)! Had to run the water for 10 minutes for a luke-warm shower. Complained once and it was better for one day. Could not work out what the problem could be, and of course we coped, but it IS nice to have a lovely hot shower on holiday.

I have stayed at the Perange Hotel 3 times twice I went with a friend a few years ago (before renovation) and this time with my boyfriend, we stayed here for 10 nights. I am a picky guy, a bit clean, but really satisfied with Perangi, and more satisfied since they were renovated. I have been to Bali 5 times. The last time before this was in June 2009 Perangi was under renovation and not all facilities were available, so we decided to try Breezes Hotel across the road. It was terrible. Many of the things Perangi offers you are excellent value for money. First of all, Perange was really a bargain. We stayed in a superior room for the first 2 nights and then moved to a super deluxe room (because they were booked out the first 2 nights), both rooms were great and great value for money. Super Deluxe Room is great - the room is large (53 square meters) with a very nice Jacuzzi, a flat-screen TV, a lot of channels (my boyfriend spends a lot of time watching TV), and a sofa in the room. Air conditioning was good (but not big enough for the whole room), we ended up buying a few fans and giving them to the staff before we left - the air circulation was not good (did not leave the door open) the room upstairs was a bit hot, but we didn't spend much time in the room Because we're busy with things like sightseeing. The swimming area is fantastic there is a nice bar, wait, it all looks like a beach it’s an added bonus because I don’t want to swim in the beach (pumps are installed along the road to pump their raw sewage into the sea), and the new restaurant area is lovely. The previous commenter is right~ the food is below average, but if there are so many restaurants nearby, who still wants to eat in the hotel? ... The location is great ... Not far from the Dhyna Pura roadside, it takes a short time to walk (actually 2 minutes) to the road, There are often taxis there and walking is not that scary (suggested by another commenter). The resort staff is talented and made us stay very good. Novi and Sri at the front office are awe-inspiring - good ideas and very good English. Even the doorman and security guards were lovely, and everyone tried to help me improve my Indonesian language and teach me new words every day. The previous reviews said the staff were unfriendly - they were generally shy, but if you try to talk to them you will know they were great - even one of the front desk staff played a prank on our last day of stay! After a while, breakfast was a bit boring, but we didn't care - it was cheap to walk to the roadside for lunch. Overall, the place is brilliant, the staff is attentive and friendly, the room is a clean and cool haven away from the hustle and bustle, the water heater, the pool and the garden are well maintained. There are some good places to eat (taxi costs within 20,000 rupees), they are Bragas (there are more Western food in Jalan Oberoi) in Seminyak Square and Indo-National( in Jalan Padma , my boyfriend likes it!) The boss of Indo-National is an Australian couple, the food is very cheap, Everything is incredible health ... There is no government or service tax! Every day Bali Moon cocktails get 20% off ... and a little further away (authentic Bali stuff), try the Benbu Bali bar in Nusa Dua ... It can be said to be the best restaurant on the island, the food is great ~ I also went to their cooking class, I like it! (About 30 minutes by taxi, about Rs 95,000). Avoid a few places: the delicious onions around the corner of the hotel (we both felt very nauseous about Bali Belly (which is said to be a health problem in Bali and will feel vomiting and diarrhea) and the very expensive, noisy ”house music” of Warung Bonita (, Bad service and food with uneven taste - the bill is insulting)

I had high hopes for this hotel because the reviews were glowing and it’s obviously super well designed. I was not disappointed! As the rooms are so reasonably priced, I booked a suite with its own pool and the room was gorgeous. Although we didn’t end up using the pool much, as the beach is just a 4 min walk down the road which is amazing. In fact we found the location in general great. The service at the hotel was exceptional and the staff super kind. Especially Komang on reception. The restaurant serves great food through the day / night, with room service too which was such a treat. My only constructive comment would be that breakfast at the hotel is a little underwhelming but everything else is so above and beyond, that it didn’t detract from an otherwise extremely positive experience.

Friendly greetings at all times, we had the pool access room. The bed was one of the best we've slept in. The shower over the bath wasn't our cup of tea. The room was clean but the bed facing tv didn't work. Once off the main road it was quiet but the night club next door roared to life at midnight. . The breakfast was sensational and varied slightly each day. After hours meals and room service was very accommodating. The fridge was not the greatest in keeping thing chilled but adequate. The pool (the longest I've seen) with a hidden waterslide was lovely and views from the top pool and deck was special

The villa is not well prepared for my family staycation. We had broken tv, bathroom electricity black out at one of the room. Super slow internet even just to watch the Netflix. Not recommended for digital nomad out there. Living room quite dusty and got kinda moldy roof smell when we turn on the fan. Really need to improve the service quality especially for local guest.

1. The aircon was very loud and noisy . Informed staff and they sent a workman to fix it the next day . It made no difference. They offered to send someone in the following day but i felt it was becoming an invasion of privacy so declined 2. Mosquitoes in the room . I recommend nets over the bed as i was a feast for them overnight . The staff offered fly spray but i didnt want to inhale the toxic staff while there. I checked out a night early as i didnt feel this to be a relaxing experience. The hotel is reasonably priced though and the grounds and architecture pleasant otherwise

I felt 2x in 6 hours. 1x rooftop in front of door to lift. Floor was wet from rain and I did not see, because was dark 7 hours later in restaurant for breakfast. Was water on the floor . I did not see. Pain was big my ash and my low back. Very less support. Waitress to busy and no manager. Needed next day fysio, what I had to pay by myself. Was very disappoint. As well the next days with words no compensation

What an incredible stay at Holiday Inn Resort Nusa Dua! The service provided was impeccable, starting off with an upgrade to an ocean view room when our pool view room was undergoing maintenance upon our arrival, followed by complimentary fruit and chocolates as another apology, along with a chocolate cake and bed decorations for our anniversary. All staff members were so friendly, helpful and approachable throughout the whole week of our stay. Also nice to see that feedback forms are actually acknowledged and acted upon very promptly (unlike other places) as we made a simple suggestion for the breakfast to include avocado and hollandaise sauce and the next two days staff members offered us specially cooked eggs benedict with avocado. Cannot fault a single thing about our experience and without a doubt will be back to stay in the future! Special mention to duty manager Geksa who frequently checked in with us and went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable!

Movenpick is a beautiful hotel and was our final stop on our two-week stay between Bali and Lombok. We were initially booked into the wrong room (twin, not double) but this was sorted immediately. Good selection at the breakfast buffet but I do think the hotel is missing a trick by not cooking fresh crepes for guests. All the little touches made the stay great. We were a bit let down that service was slow and it was a struggle to find two sun loungers, even when we were up early. For guests staying in the hotel after check out before getting picked up, the hotel provides a room to shower in. This can be booked at reception and is cleaned between uses. All in all, a lovely stay.
