We enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall.
The location is very convenient, situated right in the town area, and the room rates are reasonably priced for the value offered.
However, our room were located directly next to the lift, which caused some disturbance, especially late at night when it was quieter. The sound of the lift operation and the loud thudding noise were quite noticeable. We understand that the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but it would have been appreciated if rooms further away from the lift had been allocated when available.
We also understand and appreciate the hotel’s efforts towards environmental sustainability, hence the absence of bottled water in the room. As a suggestion, perhaps drinking water could be made available at the lobby for guests, or two complimentary bottles of water could be provided in the room upon check in. This would be more quicker to consume than having to fill with tap water and wait for it to be filtered into the provided water tank in the room.
We would like to commend the housekeeping team for their service-oriented attitude. They were thoughtful in informing us of their intention to clean the room while we were away. Thank you very much for that.
We enjoyed using the swimming pool facilities as well but there were visible particles in the water.
The breakfast spread was reasonable , and the service staff were friendly, attentive, and observant in ensuring items were replenished promptly.
We also appreciated the flexibility shown when we requested a one-hour extension for late check-out, which was kindly granted subject to availability.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and hope the suggestions above would be considered.
